We lived in Myrtle Beach from '82-'86 when my husband was in the USAF. We always made Villa Romana our place to go for our February anniversary and when visitors came to see us. We made trips back to MB after moving to N.C. and never forgot the experience of eating such a delicious meal at VR. My brother in law and his wife had been there once and when they came down for New Year Eve's celebration, we made it a point again to enjoy the celebration of such good food. We were about to leave and requested the accordion player do his "Sweet Caroline" rendition as we had always requested on our anniversary. He so willingly did so and afterwards, we had a nice chat with him. Our waitress, Camellia, was a dear and so accommodating to our wishes. We look forward to going again soon!

As the owner of Villa Romana, I feel the need to respond to the review below about us being a health hazard. While I certainly do my best to prepare quality food, I know that not everyone appreciates my cooking. I also try to ensure that the service every customer receives, regardless of whether they are a party of 1 or a party of 20, is the same and high quality. However, when content appears here and elsewhere that is inaccurate, I feel I need to respond. I can assure anyone coming to my establishment that we do not re-use any of the dinner rolls (or any other products for that matter) that have been transported to our patrons' tables. Anything that has left the kitchen is thrown away once it returns to the kitchen. We do, however, dry out and use any rolls that are left over at the end of the night. But, those rolls NEVER leave the kitchen. It is our way of ensuring quality and eco-consciousness. These dried out rolls are then ground up and used as breading for our dishes that require breadcrumbs. If anyone has doubts about this, I invite you into my kitchen at any time. The door is always open.

I have been here before and server & food was very good. This time the server was not very helpful and gave me an attitude every time I asked a question. But the final straw was their rolls. When the busboy came to start cleaning the table I noticed there were a few rolls left in the basket and since we had leftovers to bring home I suggested we take the rolls since they would have to be thrown away. At that point we were told they didn't throw the rolls away that the let them get stale and then they were used for breading. At this point I didn't know what to say. This is a such a blantant health hazard. People were touching these rolls, they could have been sneezing on them, they could be the kind of people who don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. I feel the health department should be aware of this. I will never eat here again.

AWESOME! Stop in and experience it for yourself. The food, service, chef, staff could not make you feel more welcome from the time you walk in the door. A little review to say Thank you for hospitality and wonderful service that Villa Romana has shown to us and all of our family and friends. In the many years that we have been going to Villa Romana's that meal always taste as awesome as it did the first time, over 20 years ago. This restaurant is our first place to stop and eat and our last place before we leave Myrtle Beach. Thank you all at Villa Ramana's. Mike and Darlene Butler Columbia, SC

My wife and I took our friends to Villa Romana for dinner on Monday, 9/20 and we were not disappointed. Their veal dishes are just fantastic, and when you take into account that the menu prices provide brushetta bread appetizer, soup, salad and your entree and side dish, I feel it is one of the most inexpensive places to eat on the beach. The veal parmigiana at Villa Romana is the best I have ever ate. This time we upgraded our side from homemade spaghetti to their homemade gnocchi, and they too were fantastic. Do not miss Villa Romana when visiting Myrtle Beach.

WOW! What a wonderful time we had last night at Villa Romana! My wife and I had our date night last night and wanted Italian after eating seafood, burgers and wings the rest of the week. Each place that we have been to this week has been good, but this place was great. We had made reservations and were promptly greeted and seated. The server (Eric) was there when we needed him and gone when we didn't. It was a full coarse meal with soup and salad included and was delicious. Another fun aspect of the atmosphere was the accordion player who serenaded us during dinner. All around fantastic - Full coarse dinner with a bottle of wine and dessert all for less than $100. (including 25% tip). Will we be back? The wife says lets go back tonight and take the rest of the family :-) Needless to say we will be back!!!

Villa Romana has become one of the attractions at Myrtle Beach, I actually think it's my main reason for going. We go everytime we come, the service and the food is always fanatastic. You can taste the freshness in the food. You can tell the owner wants to make people happy through food. I don't even look at other italian restaurants the same anymore. I love it!!!

This was our first visit to Villa Romana, and it will not be our last. Everything was excellent. The food was very good, and served hot. The atmosphere was calming and you could actually talk to people at your table without shouting. The accordian player was excellent and added a great deal to the atmosphere. We usually do not like accordian music, but his was wonderful. We each tried something different on the menu, and everything was very good. The only thing lacking was better attention from our waiter. He frequently asked the busboy to attend to our table. This was one of the our best meals during our trip to Myrtle Beach.

We ate at Villa Romana twice. It was that good. I grew up in Philadelphia, which has some seriously great Italian restaurants. I lived in Italy for a year when I was in the Navy and had memorable food there. But Villa Romano was just as good as any of them. IT IS THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE IN MYRTLE BEACH. The food was a memorable experience. The bread (with a delicious marinara dip) and soup (a succulent Italian Wedding-type soup) were great starters. The salad looked good but I didn't have much of it because it had too many onions. I got it without onions the second time and enjoyed. I had a delicious veal dish on Wednesday and a wonderful Veal/Chicken/Shrimp Parmigiana on Friday. The pasta that came with it was enough to make a meal in itself; it was great. My wife had an unbelivable dish called Ossa Buca. It was a pork shank that was tender as butter and was out-of-this-world good. The service both days was outstanding, with helpful and knowledgeable servers. The highlight of the meal was a visit by Owner/Chef Rinaldo. I spoke my half-assed Italian and he humored me with his replies. He was a most cordial host. Grazi, Senor Rinaldo. I loved this place. You must eat there (Make reservations!!!) I would have liked to have tried their pizza parlor, which was next door.

We have been going to Villa Roma for five years running and we look forward to our meal every time we visit MB. We have not found an Italian restaurant that can top Villa Roma back home or at MB. The food and service is outstanding and I recommend it to all my family and friends that go to visit MB. I just wish we had a clone in Greenville, SC. Everyone needs to try the Veal Cesar, it's the best!

My husband and I both come from Italian families. For me I am always looking for Italian food that reminds me of Mom and her homemade specialties. I am wary when I go to Italian restaurants especially of the sauce/gravy used. I can honestly say I found a place that has a sauce just as good as Mom's. We found the place last year by accident and went back the next night. This year we made sure to get there 2 times. The food atmosphere and services are all wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Next year we will be back and hopefully will be able to bring some of my extended family to enjoy this fantastic restaurant.

My wife and I ate at Villa Romana last Thursday, 6/25. I have to say I think this was the best italian meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant. One must remember when looking at the menu that the prices are for a full four course meal. Everyone gets tomato brushetta appetizer, soup, salad, and their entree. We both had Veal Parmigiana and it was outstanding. Even the side of spaghetti served with my meal contained homemade pasta. The restaurant accepts reservations which I recommend as it is not that large, and I really enjoyed the leasurely pace we were allowed to eat at. I am going back to MB in September and can't wait to visit Villa Romana again.

My husband and I have been to Villa Romana for the past three years and we love it . We spent new years 2008-2009 there and we had a blast!. The food is always excellent and the staff is wonderful. We were just there this past week-end and had a special that was not on the menu, the flounder special, and it was absolutely, positively, without a doubt the best seafood dinner I have ever had in my life. It was suggested by dan that we e-mail you to keep it on the menu.please do so.! dan suggested the special, and not only was he on the money about taste but he was also an excellent waiter, during our visits with you michael has always made us feel welcome and appreciated. We will be back on june 19, for our 5th anniversary, and we would love for dan to be our waiter.sincerely, bobby and lisa thomas.....hartsville,south carolina.

We arrived for our first visit on Sat night of Superbowl weekend and the place was packed and busy. We were immediately greeted by Fran, who owns the restaurant with her husband Rinaldo, and told the wait would not be long although there were many large tables being served. The atmosphere was lively, fun with a great accordian player. Our wait was short and we had a nice cozy table by a large group of people who entertained us during dinner. Our original waiter could not get to us so he intoduce our new waitress who was very good. We were brought a glass of wine by Fran while we waited for our table so we were content by the very brief wait even at the table. We loved the complimentary bruschetta, stracciatelli, salad and we were served a complimentary antipasto plate for having to wait. They did not have to do that as we were content with the pace and the surroundings. We loved the veal oscar but our favorite was the chicken stuffed with cheeses and topped with the orange sauce--not sweet but very flavorful! We had coffee and shared a tiramisu and then were surprised by Rinaldo's brother who brought us a complimentary homemade chocolate liqueur--it was delicious!! We were visited at our table several times by Fran and Rinaldo--, who celebrated their 24th year in business that weekend by giving every woman in the restaurant a long-stemmed red rose. We have told everyone we know, how great this place is--from the atmosphere to the food to the warmth of the owners and staff!! We hope to go again soon and wish it were near us so we could make it our 'regular' place!!

While my family and I prepared for our MB destination, I read the reviews for Villa Romana and couldn't wait to form my own opinion. Coming from Phily,PA (org NY) I KNOW Italian food and believe me, this place is the REAL DEAL. I honestly can not say enough about it. The food and service was out of this world. I had the Veal Caesar, my wife had a 'special' Chicken dish with orange sauce (thanks to the server to talking her into it; she was going to get the Ravioli, which you can get anywhere) ..two of the best dishes I've ever had!! The accordion player was very entertaining. Not only does he have a musical gift, he also has a 'gift' with people. After talking with him and watching him with other tables he has the ability of relating with every type of personality; he is truly a unique individual and adds so much to the atmosphere. The server was very professional and charming. In addition, I can tell he was genuinely interested in every detail to make sure the service was excellent -- very pleasant guy. Sure all servers work 'extra' hard for good tips but he was one of those types that you could tell he TRULY wanted his table to experience the best service as possible. I can't remember his name ( I have a bad memory for names) but I do remember he being from Mississippi. I'm SO glad I found this web site b/c it lead me to one of the most unique and best dining experiences I've ever had. We're going back down there next summer and will probably visit every night!!

Hello Friends This is M& J R from Iowa . We wanted to share some thoughts about your wonderful restaurant. I am originally from Pennsylvania and grew up eating marvelous Italian food thus I consider myself knowledgeable about what is marvelous . In 1974 I moved to Iowa and have lived here ever since. Good Italian food can be found here if one looks hard enough…marvelous on the other hand is not so readily available. My wife and I began vacationing in MB about 9 years ago. Over that time we have tried many restaurants up and down the Grand Strand. During one of our earlier visits our good friend GC suggested we try your place and three years ago we made our first stop. Since then we have been back every vacation (twice a year). Everything about your restaurant is totally impressive…the decor, the service and of course the food!! During all but one of our visits our waiter has been Michael and he is an absolute gem and gentleman. Totally attentive to all our needs from wine to snapping a few memorable photos. We cannot say enough good things about him. Please tell him we send our regards. We have tried a number of dishes during our visits and they are all wonderful but I must say the Chicken Fiorentina all' Arancia which I had this last visit (09/10/08) was probably one of the most amazing dinners I have ever had…and at 56 I’ve had more than a few!! This time we dined with friends G& N C. As we dined we had several visits from the Chef and another charming gentleman that told us stories and made us laugh. The meal was amazing from start to finish. Then there is the accordion player Michael Del Gardo. He is truly a wonderful man and we got very well aquatinted during our last visit…in fact we discovered we are both lovers of Grateful Dead music. We had a great conversation about music and life as we dined. To sum it all up we absolutely love your restaurant and everything about it. Although it took a few vacations to find Villa Romano we plan to dine there as often as possible. When we retire in a few years and move to MB we will become permanent fixtures at your place. Again, Thank you so much for absolutely wonderful dining experiences. Say hello to all our friends there. We’ll see you on our next stop in MB Best Regards M & J R

My husband and I went to MB for our honeymoon 2 summers ago and we wanted some italian food and stumbled upon this place. It is such a cute place! They have an accordian player and wonderful staff. They give you great food to start with, soup, salad, bread, etc. The cordon bleu was out of this world. We liked it so much we went back to MB this past summer and had to go back. My wife and I got tired of the seafood buffets at Myrtle Beach so we started looking for an Italian restaurant. We found Villa Romana. I love Italian food and this was the best I have ever eaten. My wife was in total agreement. It was a little pricey but worth every penny. We had spent close to the same amount at a seafood buffet and were dissappointed, a few dollars more here and we were blown away! I would recommend it to anyone wanting value for their money. We'll definitely go back on our next trip to Myrtle Beach.

The eggplant parm is the best I ever had; that includes Little Italy in New York! Great home-made pasta, meat sauce & ask for calamari w/al dente linquini & hot sauce.

The real charm here are the owners & the wait staff. Ask for John, Camille, Robert or Dan. All make you feel like a member of the family. Have eaten here at least 100 times in the 3 years I have lived in Murrells Inlet, SC

We go there just to feel GOOD!!.

We have been gong to MB every summer for the last 9 years and each time we go we eat at Villa Romana. Great food, Great place and very nice atmosphere, Mike who plays the music is great with the guests and makes it a point to stop at each table to make everyone feel welcome just like Mamma Lucia use to do. We are going back this summer and we have already made our reservation from home....This is our home away from home...

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews we read. The reviews were right on the money. The food and the service were both excellent. Tracy was our server and she was super nice and very prompt even while waiting on a large group in another area. I had the shrimp d'oro and it was outstanding, my husband had the ravioli with meat sauce and it was also excellent. We will definitely make a return visit.

I was looking for an italian restaurant while in vacation in MB and saw in the phone book that this was rated the best italian restaurant in MB 4 yrs in a row. They gave you a lot of food however, for someone that wants to eat healthier there is limited options on the menu. The bread they give you w/ the marinara sauce was excellent. The soup was doused in parmesan cheese and the salad drenched in oil that i could not even finish it. i ended up getting the chicken parmesan for an entree which was just OK but then again i am from NY and from an italian family so i am used to having good italian food. My fiancee liked his gnocchi however. I don't know that i would go back but it wasn't bad and reasonably priced for all the food you get w/ your meal.

We were there on June 4th for the first time and we loved this place. The atmosphere was wonderful; the owners were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The food was delicious and very plentiful. We were allowed to relax . . . no rush to order. And, our waiter, Frank, was efficient, friendly, but not intrusive. We're planning a return trip to Myrtle Beach in early September and we can't wait to return to Villa Romana

We decided to give Villa Romana a try. The service was excellent in the beginning. A waiter encouraged us the food menu items that are expensive, however we ordered for pasta and paste meal instead and the meatballs were ok to us. The waiter did not come to us to check if what we need like refilled bread while we were eating. The light was too dim, we barely were able to read the menu. We arrived early, before the rush. Toward the end of the meal our server was nowhere to be found. He was busy serving the other people that were being seated. We recieved our check which not mention that the 15% gratituity for the four of us was already included.

We pre-ordered with the owner Veal Ossum boca, filet pomodoro. The owner came out and joined us for a chat and went home to be with his family, as his grandchildren where leaving the area. It was a truly great adventure, out of my area, which is Connecticut in this Italian feast. As we are Italian Americans and eat this type of food everyday, it was a joy to be received so graciously and so accomodating. Also, I took home one of your surprise recipes. We are coming down in August with Our Aunt & Uncle, who are also entrepreneurs. We plan to come to your restaurant Sunday August 17,2008 for sure because that is Pasta day. Please advise if we should make reservations now. Looking forward to seeing you then! Chao

We just loved Michael on the accordian who played music from our generation and had people in the restaurant singing along. What a down home feeling and atmosphere at Villa. We have planned our next vacation in April and have plans to go back to Villa. I have even told a friend of mine who is going to Myrtle Beach the earlier part of April to visit! Looking forward to another great time at Villa Romana!!!!!!!!

Every time we visit Myrtle Beach we make sure to also visit this excellent restaurant. Being Italian myself, I know good food and this place excels in it's freshness and it's ability to capture the homemade goodness I remember growing up. You can't do any better for Italian food in Myrtle, and the accordian player, Michael, makes the night even more memorable. I also used to play accordian as a kid and he just adds to the trip down memory lane. We'll be back!

The staff is intune to our every need. Michael playing the accordian just adds that much more to the ambiance. Although, he has never played for us because we spend to much time talking with him. To sum it up...I have reccomended this place many times and look forward to gracing the doors again for excellent food, wine and friends. Not to mention the cello!!!!!!!

On Nov. 30th my wife and I visited after reading the reviews on here. We arrived about 8 pm and were seated promptly. We were not sure if we had made a good choice or not because of the strong cigarette smell from the smoking section. As soon has the food started arriving, we knew this place was a winner! The portabella mushroom appetizer was fantastic. The salads were very tasty and the perfect size! My wife loves eggplant and Villa Romana really satisfied her taste buds. I had the veal and it was tender and great. The site made pasta really was great...fresh is best! .

Other than allowing smoking, the place is darn near perfect. We'll be back and tell others about it!

Growing up in in Italian Restaurant, I consider myself to be an Italian food snob. This place is the real deal! Authentic food, Authentic atmosphere, Outstanding Food and Wonderful service (We usually request Camille) . The owners are wonderful people and are often seen in the dining room, going table to table, insuring that their guests are satisfied. The meal includes bruschetta, soup, salad, the best bread rolls in myrtle beach, and the main course. The veal dishes are world-class, as well as my favorite gnocchi. You really cant go wrong ordering from their menu. The prices include a gratuity, however, we always through some extra dollars Camille's way, due to her fine service. The accordian player is extremely talented and humorous. He plays Italian traditionall music mixed with contemporary music (Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin) and is excellent with children. Make sure he does "Old MacDonald" for the kids. Best Food in Myrtle Beach without a doubt, and very reasonable prices! Trust me - you can't go wriong!

I went with a group of friends who were visiting Myrtle Beach from all over. We had never eaten at Villa Romano, but looked the menu up online and were impressed with the prices (similar to Carabbas, but much more food....). The wait staff is excellent, from the hostess to the guy who loaded our to-go boxes. They are very accomodating and very nice. I had the Shrimp San Marzano....and it was excellent. I couldn't finish it because I had filled up on salad (great dressing), bread (crusty and the dipping sauce is addictive) and soup (which was tasty). The portions were excellent and everything well cooked. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to introduce it to others!

The staff sat us immediately, go early it filled up in about 15 minutes after we arrived. Make reservations. They start you with warm bread and sauce to dip, then soup and salad, and then your meal. We had dishes with Veal and they were delicious. Wish they'd open one in New York. Wait Staff was always there for any refills or to ask us if we needed anything. There will always be time on future visits for Villa Romana.

The craving for italian food got the best of us and led us to try Umbertos for the first time. Never, never again. Poor service and poor food. The veal was thick and rubbery and the sauces tasted as though they were reheated many times. We love you Villa Romano and will see you again in Sept.

Villa Romana has been in Myrtle Beach since 1985. I consider myself to be a "foodie". I would describe the food as upscale homestyle italian. I have eaten at the restaurant 5 times in the past 4 years and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is family oriented with many large parties of families who return year after year. The value for the money is excellent. You get a complimentary plate of bruschetta and then soup and salad with your entree. All of the food is prepared from scratch and made to order so if you are expecting to get in and out in 45 minutes you may want to reconsider. The family takes great pride in the restaurant and it shows. The food is among the best of homestyle italian (vs. fine dining italian) that I have ever eaten. The kitchen can only put out so much food at once so sometimes the meals take awhile (not the servers fault). The wine list offers plenty of choices at different price points. This is a Myrtle Beach institution not to be missed!

My family of four decided to give this restaurant a try after reading other reviews. We arrived around 5:00 and was seated right away, however the manager told the hostess that we would be the last ones being seated without a reservation. She was very unprofessional when speaking to the hostess. We felt bad for her. The meal was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. However, after we ordered the restaurant was getting crowded, I guess, with people that had made reservations. We all of a sudden became less important to our waitress. We waited over 45 minutes getting our check and paying our bill and the gratuity was already added to our bill. My husband didn't question it since we already waited so long. Overall, it was way overpriced for what we ordered. Our next trip to Myrtle Beach, for italian, will be Carrabba's.

We recently dined here on our vacation. The waitress seemed a little put out to serve us. I don't believe she had the job she needed. Our food took quite a long time to be served, when we got it two dinners were less than satisfactory. One was eggplant parm, one of my favorite meals. It was very dry and rubbery as if it was not freshly prepared. The second unsatisfactory meal was fetuccini with shrimp, the noodles were overcooked. My children ordered spaghetti which was o.k. I chose to not mention my dissatisfaction with the eggplant parm because of the waitress' negative behavior. I did insist my son mention he was not satisfied with his meal. By the time we could even find the waitress to let her know. The rest of the family was done eating. She took his meal away, came back 10 minutes later and said they would charge us 5.00 due to the fact some of the shrimp was eaten and that he could order something else. He ordered another dinner and asked to have it put in a to go container since we were long finished eating. The waitress never inquired why I didn't eat my dinner or wonder why I didn't want a to go container even though I took only two bites and left the rest because it was horrible. This was a total disaster, very expensive and no one seemed to care..

I figured I would try to get it for the privacy but I never expected to get the seat so easily. We have never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seated. We've been to the Villa 3 times and we love it. I can actually say that the Villa is my favorite! The taste and price of the food is beyond excellent!

Having eaten, what I considered to be, great Italian food, all over this country, I have decided that Villa Romana is now my favorite Italian restaurant! Actually, it has become my favorite restaurant period!

The staff makes you feel just like your are eating at their home and the food was absolutely delightfully delicious! We ate at this restaurant twice during the week that we were in Myrtle Beach and we would have eaten there absolutely every night if we had discovered it earlier.

I would find any excuse to re-visit Myrtle Beach, just so that I could dine again at Villa Romana. It is clearly a "jewel" in Myrtle Beach and It comes with THE Highest of Recommendation by a guy who considers himself to be like a human-version of "Morris The Cat", when it comes to great food!

This place is by far not only the best Italian food that I have ever eaten but one of the most entertaining evenings that I have had in a long time. The wait staff was very professional and helpful, the accordian player was cool, the atmosphere was very laid back.

We stay down at Pawleys/Litchfield area and rarely venture up into Myrtle Beach to eat since there are so many great restaurants such as Frank's, Louis, Austin's, Rice Patty. I have to say that this place has become my new favorite and we will make our first stop everytime we come to the area.

I strictly went here to Villa Romana based on the reviews this site got and by checking out the Restaurant's website too. Being an Italian American myself, I seen prepared food items on that menu that I've only had and tasted as a child growing up in Upstate New York near Syracuse. So I arrived there with my family and my best friend's family for dinner (Nine of us) after driving 15 hours to Myrtle Beach and getting ready and thinking about this meal all the way down I-95 We were very hungry and we had 6:30 reservations and we called to see if we could possibly bump them up earlier to like 5:00 PM. No problem, they were very accomodating. Next we were seated by the hostess in the back as our tables were moved together for our party of 9 that soon became 8 because the 14 year old became sick all of the sudden from the drive down to SC. Anyway, our waitress introduced herself to us now I can't for the life of me remember her name right now but we did notice that she was originally from the Bronx, NY and now she lives down there with ya'll. She was an excellent server and definately knew how to work the table, even with the kids sitting at the table, she was so patient with them and made their dining experience a pleasureable one. You know how hard it is to take kids to places and keep them entertained. But anyways, the food was totally amazing from the Bruschietta to the soup, to the Italian dinner rolls, to the salad to appetizers to the main course. In my opinion, this restaurant blows away the competition from almost any other Italian American Eatery from the North, South, East or West., and I've eaten at quite a few everywhere I go. This establishment was amazing. We went back there 6 days later to try it again, and we weren't disappointed again. The second time we were there, the accordianist was playing and singing and the children really got a kick out of that. Amazing Italian Cuisine. If you're a tourist down there in Myrtle Beach or a resident of MB, do yourself a favor and go to eat here at Villa Romana. ...... The Chef even comes to your table personally to see how you've liked the meal, now that's class and committment. I can't wait to eat here again and again in the near future.

Grazie Rinaldo, Franca e Bianca

Grazie Mamma Lucia per le vostre ricette ed il vostro amore di cottura. Grazie per potare una parte de Roma noi qui alla Spiaggia, del Myrtle.

We finally visited this restauant last month. All the reviews you read here are true. The salad dressing and sauces taste just like my grandmas. The only negative I can think of is that its so crowded that it was hard to get a parking spot at 8:30 at night in the off season. Be prepared for a wait but the wait is definitely worth it.

One of the best italian meals we've ever had. My wife asked for chicken marsala (which wasn't on the menu) and they gladly made the dish for her. It was easily the best chicken marsala either of us had tasted. The accordian entertainment was authentic and pleasent. The interior is partitioned with plants and waist high walls that gave an outdoor garden feel. The staff knew their business and moved quickly to clean the tables in order to minimize the wait. The cost was in the olive garden range but the quality and taste is vastly better. Next time we're in mb, we'll be back..

This is the place in MB for authentic Italian food with outstanding service and atmosphere. Have been frequently this restaurant for 21 years and never had a bad dinner or poor service. Have had several special occasion dinners with many guest which were arranged with the owners Rinaldo and Fran. Everything was handled without problem. Rinaldo & Fran took the time to create, print a special menu for the occasions freaturing each possible dinning choice-meat, pasta, seafood. Service is superb even when the restaurant is busy especially highlighted is Camille, Duffy and John (the manager) or of course, can not forget Michael the accordian player who has a great sense of humor and a various repertoiry of musical selection. This is one restaurant that is a must to visit while visiting MB because it will be come a favorite for the future.

The wait staff have many years of experience and polish. The strolling accordinist is funny and talented. Rinaldo's food is second to none. This is the real thing, lovingly cooked from scratch. As a local, I give it the highest possible marks for value, consistency, entertainment, and cuisine.

Simply the best italian restaurant in myrtle beach. I've been a visitor to mb for 37 years, and have been a permanent resident for 2 years now. I've tried just about every italian restaurant around, and this is the best. I get the eggplant parmesan and my friends and family have tried the veal absolute, chicken parmesan and other veal dishes. They serve a wonderful brucheta appetizer, bread and salad before your entree. The italian beer is wonderful too. Once time when I was there, the chef came out to meet us--wonderful! the servers and everyone that works there are excellent, and now every other italian restaurant pales in comparison. If you're a vegetarian like me, they will accommodate you kindly.

We ate at the Villa Romana restaurant on our recent trip to Myrtle Beach(July 2006). I choose this place because of all the positive reviews from this website. I am really glad I listened to all these. The food here was absolutely the best we had in Myrtle Beach. It was very reasonably priced for all you get. You will definately not leave here hungry. We loved the accordion player who went to the different tables. He came to my 15 month old granddaughter and was playing childrens songs for her. This will be one of our first stops next year when we return to Myrtle Beach. One of the best restaurants we have visited.

I am a local to Myrtle Beach and when people ask me where to get great seafood, I send them to Villa Romana. Their blackened grouper is to die for ! I also love the Veal Ceasar (topped with creamy crabmeat sauce), Veal Marsala (best I've ever had) and the Veal Absolut (they say it's their own recipe), it's loaded with fresh mushrooms and a creamy vodka sauce, yum ! I could eat there nightly and have on many occasions eaten there twice in one week.

I recently had a very fine dining experience at V.R. I had the Veal Chop and it was divine. I plan to try other items when I return. I'm a local and plan to be back many times in the future. The service was excellent and the waitor was very personable and charming. (I think his name was Daniel) If you love REAL Italian food, I suggest you dine at the Villa Romana.

My parents, brother, and I went to Villa Romana in May 1999. It was a WONDERFUL experience...we enjoyed ourselves SO MUCH that I wrote to them to thank them. I've been on their Christmas card list ever since! How about that?!?

My husband and I are returning to the area in May 2006 and I wanted to see if Villa Romana was still getting the same kind of rave reviews I gave it 6 years ago. I'm not surprised to see that people are still quite pleased with their experience. I cannot wait to introduce my husband to Villa Romana!!!

Want a piece of authentic Little Italy food and ambiance while in Myrtle Beach? It's definitely here, at Villa Romana!

I'm a local here, and I STILL try to eat at Villa Romana at least every couple weeks.

The food is amazing, but the ambiance definitely beats anything I've seen before. Rinaldo, the owner and head chef, will come by your table to make sure everything is ok (which trust me, it'll be more than ok!) and Mike, the accordian player will make sure you enjoy your trip.

As an Italian from Northeast PA, and I am accustomed to being surrounded by a plethera of great Italian restaurants.

Until now, my wife and I have been unable to find good quality Italian food in Myrtle Beach.

These folks do it right. Food and customer service are top notch. Prices are less than I would have expected!

Absolutely the best! We are locals - and I am current president of the Sons of Italy, so I think I know good Italian! Owners and chefs are all Italian-born and raised, so Villa Romana is as authentic as it gets. Food is to die for, service is wonderful (well, ok, so m-a-y-b-e they spoil me a little!), and Michael on the accordion will entertain and amuse.

The food is superb, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is filled with wonderful accordian music and lots of laughter. For a wonderful dining experience at a very reasonable price, go to Villa Romana!

Four of us have been coming to the Myrtle Beach area to golf for 16 years now. We were lucky to discover Villa Romana the first year down. We've gone back every year since. This is some of the best Italian food I've ever had! Make sure to go Thursday - Saturday to catch the accordion player. He's very funny and can play anything!

This is the best Italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach !! It is homey, friendly, superior food, and good service. I always go the Villa Romana when vacationing in South. Carolina. I am from the Northeast, where Italian Restaurants are plentiful. This restaurant is better than some up here !!
