Worst pizza joint I've ever had the displeasure of going to. Food was awful, service very slow, associates rude and to top it all off it costs way, way too much! Asked to speak with manager and he blew us off. I'll never return to this restaurant or any of it's affiliates. ref: 27633

My husband and I have been visiting Myrtle Beach a couple of times a year for 17 years, and we always order the "Big Kahuna", usually every other night of our stay. We have always been blown away by their pizza. We eat in occasionally but usually order delivery. Delivery can take a little time, but it is peak season!!!! We just order anticipating the time we will eat. If we are starving, we go eat in! Their toppings are fresh and very good quality. The crust is wonderful and our pizzas are always hot and fresh. We get a to-go order everytime we go to Myrtle Beach. We order pizzas and We love their Greek Salad and it is more than enough for 2 to share. We have never been disappointed with our orders or the service. We recommend this pizza to everyone! ref: 22136

we did not eat in the restaurant, but the pizza hardly lived up to the advertisements, the wings were Average, We were hoping to get a better quality pizza vs a traditional domino's and we got something less than a CC Pizza. ref: 19155

I got a delivery. They took forever to get here. I'm still waiting after calling an hour ago. I called the store, they told me the delivery person is here and it's only been 45 minutes. That is still over the 30 minute wait time that they gave me. I timed it... it's been over an HOUR. The time is recorded on my cell phone of when I called the order in.

I am a Ranger at the state park near by,UCP is my favorite place in town to eat. Always great service and friendly faces! The Hollywood Pizza is very good lots of meat and cheese. ref: 16323

I have been using the delivery service only and am SO impressed. I am leaving this Saturday to go back to SC and can't wait to have the traditional "Big Kahuna" w/filet mignon added to it. It's the best pizza ever. Makes the 7 hour trip worth while. ref: 16064

We have been here for years and it has always been great! I wish we had a pizza place like this back home. During the summer it is a little loud in the restaurant, but they are quite busy. The service has always been good, but we do miss the waiter with the fuzzy hair(I think his name was Jared). If you are looking for a good place to go, this would be the place!!!!!!!!!!!! ref: 13870

This is hands-down the best pizza in the area. I have tried many of the various offerings and I like them all. The wheat crust is yummy, too. My family comes to Surfside a few times a year and we always get at least one meal in the restaraunt or delivered to us. Service can be a problem sometimes and noise level can as well, but it is a casual pizza joint, so it is almost to be expected. ref: 11225

We ordered a pizza for Delivery to our hotel on July 12 3007. The service was quick and food delivered hot. We have been ordering food from this Chain for over 7 years when we visit Myrtle Beach. This is the first time we feel like the pizza was just AVERAGE. I hope this is what they now try to acheive. We ordered the Smoked cheese pizza which had cheese and spinach and the Hawian Pizza. The smoked Cheese was very good but the other pizza was barely better than the kind you buy in the Super Market. Very sparcely covered with the items. A real disappointment. We will try again and hope this was a fluke as We have always considered this place a quality pizza restaurant. Normally we would have rated this much higher, but at this time I can't. Sorry, California Pizza, please try a little better!!...I know you can do it as we have seen it in the past! ref: 7036

My wife and I have been coming to Myrtle Beach for the past 25 years and during the past 5 years have always either ORDERED a Pizza to be delivered or We visited the Restaurant. The food has always been great and fresh. We visit the Seafood restaurants, but always make time for the California Pizza. If you want a DIFFERENT taste in Pizza, this is the place. I think you get what you pay for and this is a value for your money in the quality of food you get. We ordered what I call the HAWAII Pizza, which has pineapples,ham, coconuts and other goodies. What a great taste. My wife loves the Spinach pizza with gouda cheese. Try this location if you truly want a different experience in Pizza. ref: 5073

Excellent place to eat. My husband and I have a place at the Beach and we ran across this place about 2 years ago. Fabulous food and service. The pizza is excellent and the subs too. Everything is great, from service to food. I highly recommend. Everytime we come visit at the beach we have to stop at UCP. The BEST ref: 4560

Not the best in service at this location but I still say the best pizza I have ever eaten.Visit during our stay at the Plantation Resort. Barefoot Landing location the service was much better. When in Myrtle Beach the Ultimate California Pizza is a must. ref: 4296

Excellent food and diverse menu. I've never had any problems with service or noise level in restaurants....unlike other pizza restaurants with tables full of soccer teams and cheerleaders. Visited this restaurant on Saturday May 27.. We were seated fairly quickly and that was about the fastest thing in the restaurant. The food was pretty good.. however the service was terrible.. I had to go back and get my tea refill 3 times.. I was beginning to think I was at a buffet but I noticed other tables were getting service. It was though we were invisible. Then after we finished we had to wait on the check. And then we had to go find the waitress to get our change. Oh well.. We gave it a try. We are new to Surfside Beach and will try other places for pizza. ref: 2576

This place is terrible. Took forever to get seated. Rude waiter, took 30 min for water and sweet tea, trash all over the floor, people cussing and screaming in the restaurant around my kids, nobody wanted to pay attention to us as paying customers. Wrong food was brought out(it was for another table next to us). When they brought out ours it too was incorrect with toppings. So many mistakes, it was absolutely unbelievable. When we were ready to leave, the waiter was outside smoking a cigatette, I had to go out there and get him myself. When he gave me the bill, you guessed it, it was all wrong. No manager available when I asked to see one. Worst experience in my entire life!!!!!!!!!! ref: 1522

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants for pizza. The first time my husband and I went there was when we were visiting our timeshare at Plantation Resort and each time we came on vacation we would go here for pizza. Now that we are living here, it is still a favorite of mine. There are so many varieties plus the possibilities when building your own. Great place for lunch or dinner! ref: 1346
