Can't beat the food for lunch! Can't beat the bakery! We even attended a party at Christmas where they catered. It was just as wonderful!

I visited the town of conway and heard about the trestle from a friend who lives in the area. I tried it out and was very appalled that my friend would even consider me going there. It took forever to get seated, finally when i got seated the waitress was rude and took extremely to long to bring the food. while i was eating i found a roach in my chicken salad. i will not ever be going back and i do NOT recommend it to anyone!

We were very very dissatisfied with everything, food was terrible, service was lousy. There shrimp salad was horrible, my friend had salad platter, she could not eat it, her husband had a tuna sandwich it looked like it was made by a child "messy presentation" The pasta salad had so much vinegar it was not edible. If a waitress notices there is food left on a plate would'n't you think she should ask if we were satisfied? no reaction. someone should teach them a few things. I will never never, go back there or never reccommend it to anyone. A visitor from n.y.

We have been going to the Trestle for over 10 years and in the last couple of years, we have seen a steady decline in the quality of service and food. I always loved the fried green tomatoes and here it is the end of May and we ordered the tomoatoes and couldn't get them, so the waitress told us that the mushrooms were great so we ordered them....couldn't get them either. Also the loaded baked potato soup looks like you emptied the refrigerator and added alot of spice to improve the taste....well, it didn't work!!!! I ordered a tuna salad sandwich and a child could have prepared the sandwich better. It looked very sloppy and unappetizing. We are extremely disappointed in the food and service lately. Won't be back!

We went in for coffee and a snack - we got a seat right away then had to wait almost 10 mins before the waitress asked what we wanted, then another 15 mins before the coffee arrived - and the food didnt come until another waitress came over and asked how things were going and then we were able to say we didnt get the food. We have been to this restaurant 3-4 times over a 2 year period and always have suffered with bad service - they really need more staff. Food is ok, although if you arent a meat eater there arent a lot of choices. We wont be going back

Ok, it's great in the historic district to maybe come and have an iced tea/coffee and some pastries. The pastries are first run, everything else (except maybe the sourdough bread...from the bakery if you get my drift) is not so special. The chicken salad is average and of course, breakfast is ok. But the staff is generally not pleasant nor bespeaks the southern hospitality it should. Our waitress was upset when we ordered a side of chicken salad and toast instead of regular sandwiches and then didn't come back to refill our teas--c'mon now. So, for dessert or something little like soup, sure. Anything else...try another restaurant. They need to overhaul their staff.

Good homecooking more than a delicatessen. I had the chicken salad which was fine, but similar to something I could have made myself. The special of barbeque chicken was great. Good food, great value, wonderful atmosphere, and friendly people! And we're still dreaming about the pastries! We're going back next time to eat a lighter lunch and to raid the dessert counter!

I have been here a couple of times. I was a bit disappointed after all the hype I had heard over the years. Overall, it wasn't bad but were disappointed with the lack of service on our last visit recently. We asked for drink refills and a take home box. We waited about 20 minutes and gave up. We finally took our plates with us up to the register to wait in a short line to pay and get the box to go. We scraped our plates into the box right at the register. The waitress was standing right there by the register and did not apologize for never returning to the table. It wasn't very crowded either. I will say they do have nice pastries but would hesitate to spend money for lunch again.

The Trestle provided the food for our wedding reception and they not only met our expectations but far exceeded what we were anticipating. Greg (owner) made us feel like family. We felt as if we recieved nothing but the best in quality, value and service!

A excellent deli restaurant with wonderful bakery treats too. A great place for lunch or a quick bite. Downtown Conway has a lot of antique and boutique stores. We eat here whenever we make a trip to Conway when we're luccky enough to be at the beach!
