The shack (originally the Biscuit Shack) is a great place to eat a good meat and three or get some decent seafood sandwiches. Service is always spot on and they make everyone feel like a local every time you go in there. New management has done well and the prices are always fair. Miss Boots would be proud!

If you like good home style country cooking, this is the place for you. It reminded me of going to my grandmothers house for dinner. The hush puppies with honey butter which come free with your dinner order are to die for. My wife and I had chose the fried chicken, and the meat loaf dinner. They both come with 3 side dishes and the plate was almost over flowing with food. Everything was so good my wife and I came again the next night for dinner again. The staff was so pleasant andthey really made you feel right at home. We can't wait for next year so we can eat here again.

I have never eaten at the Shack but we did before when it was the Biscuit Shack. All I have to say to the new owners, if you just want locals in there, put a big sign up. The rudest most nasty waitress worked there and the place was very blantently rude to northeners. I am sure this was encouraged by the owner. We were going in there this year till we heard the old owner had passed. Someone needs to slap a old fashioned discrimination suit on that place and maybe this rudeness will end.
