Would visit this place weekly If I lived there. Great food for the money. Baby clams in garlic lemon sauce to die for. Great fish and chips. Best ever crab dip with fresh made chips. Appitizer scallops the most tasty Ive ever had. Very Tasty cream of crab soup. The chef is top of the line!! The pitcher of their rum punch for $18 you can't beat. Service with very friendly waitresses.

How can anyone be so rude and expect them to be patient. They were not busy either. We had 7 in our party...3 of them were children. they suggested we order appetizers because it would take a while...don't they cook those too! We order one appetizer and it took an hour and half to get those little crab balls. We should have just left, but we waited 2 hrs, before we got our food...shrimp, snow crab legs, chicken strips. The food was tasty, but we wondered if they had left us to catch it. Several couples came in after us at least one couple gave up and left and others got their food before us. The waitress came over after we had our food and asked how we wanted to handle out bill. This was the only time we saw her...my daughter ask to see the manager(probably her husband) He told my daughter maybe the service was better in NC ...like why don't you go there! She told him she could cook crab legs in less than an hour...he said he could cook them in 8 minutes...she said then why didn't you! Our combined bills were over 130 dollars...we leave 20% usually...but no way was that going to happen this time. No matter how good the food might be...who wants to wait that long and put up with the rudeness and lack of service?

Went there on a Restaurant coupon. The service was mediocre. Did not inform us prior and charged us for tap water! Charged us for salad Dressing! Added 18% gratuity. Not crowded and took forever to have the food delivered (maybe the crabs weren't biting?). 2 items we tried to order they said were no longer on the menu. Overcharged for an item verses the menu price. I didn't address it as I was a bit fed up with the place and bill. Paid $60 after discount. Will never go back and we visit the area often as we are 1 hour away. Not worth the discount or the frustration.

Being born in Baltimore,MD., I am use to the best steamed crabs, crab cakes & shrimp. Along with Maryland crab soup. SHIVER ME PINCHERS took back to the good days of having a seafood feast with family in Baltimore. We now live in Jackson, TN. so we really miss the seafood. It was so good that we ate there THREE nights in a row. Great crab balls as appetizer, they are actually a little better than the crab cakes but they were good. We had Maryland crab soup along with cream of crab soup also. The steamed crabs were GREAT. We also had jumbo fried shrimp & they actually asked how much breading we wanted on them since they are FRESH made right there. If you like heavy or just a whisper of breading, that is what you get. I hope they never close up or really get any bigger so you get the personal service here as it is now.

I ordered the steamed shrimp. HUGE portion and so delicious - seasoned perfectly. We had a 3 year old with us and 3 adults. Waitress was amazing with the kid even when he made a mess! LOL We ate there twice in one week. Wonderful both times.

If you are looking for "real" seafood and not a cheesy buffet this is the place. The two has had the admiral's platter, which consisted of a pound each of steamed crabs (4 varieties, including King) shrimp, mussels and clams served at this time of year with seasoned fries and the best slaw I've ever tasted! The key lime pie was amazing! I highly recommend this place for lovers of authentic seafood.
