LOVE,LOVE, LOVE this restaurant!!!! I've never eaten ethiopian food before, but after my boss took me here for a office luncheon. I loved it!!! My husband is a chef and I took him there that same night, we have been faithful ever since. The menu is so simple and the owner Sara is always ready to suggest and help you understand which ones are too spicy (or not enough) My favorite is the Siga tips with the #4 and #8 for my two side choices. The bread and clarified butter with the spices she brings to the table as an app. is a meal in itself!!! My husband speaks highly of this place and you know chefs their such critics, even when they don't want too. If you're a coffee drinker you don't want to miss the after dinner coffee, Sara roasts the beans right before she brews it. Ethiopia is know for their coffee. Try it out!! ref: 15818 |

This is a wonderful restaurant offering authentic Ethiopian fare. The food is excellent, and Sara -- the owner-- provides warm personal service. The menu offers a wide selection of modestly priced vegetarian and vegan dishes. We eat here often and wish it were closer to our house, but it is worth the drive. Myrtle Beach is really fortunate to have this restaurant since it is difficult to find Ethiopian restaurants-- especially good ones! ref: 15743 |

I have eating out at some fine restaurants such as Lucky 32, li Saigon and Bolivia, I can say, Redi-et Ethiopian Cuisine is the best food by far and you can not beat price. Redi-et Ethiopian Cuisine is a nice family restaurant. ref: 15663 |

When we arrived at Myrtle Beach Resort for a two week vacation in January we were delighted to find this new Ethiopian restaurant just across the highway. We were delighted first because we are always on the lookout for healthy food and locally based restaurants and because our sin and his wife are in the process of adopting a child from Ethiopia. The food is excellent, from thick, tasty soup through unusual breads, a wonderful variety of vegetarian options, and some well prepared lamb and chicken. The main entree is always accompanied by a choice of up to three of the other vegetarian mixtures. We passed on the desserts. The hot tea and dark coffee were wonderful as we came in from a fairly frigid walk. We hope Sara and her family have great success. ref: 14265 |

I ordered a sampler dish of the food and it was enough for my husband and I. Price was great, the flavor of the food was perfect, and the coffee was out of this world. Starbucks can't match it! The proper way of eating Ethiopian cusine is to use your right hand only but you will find yourself using both hands, because the food is so delicious you'll forget your maners. A+ ref: 14262 |
