We have lived in the Longs area for four years and today was our first time to visit the grill. We had heard that their hot dogs were delicious so we tried them. They were fantastic! The chilli was finely ground and seasoned just right. We will definitely go back again and try the daily specials. From now on we know just where to go for a delicious hot dog and good home cooked food. This is our favorite type of place to eat...a real "mom and pop" operation. ref: 26816

There is no school like the old school! And this place knows how to do it right. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veggies and that oh so soft white dinner roll...be still my heart! And don't even get me started on the beefstew! DELISH! I could almost weep thinking about it. My husband and I have driven the 3+ hours from Charlotte just to see Richard's smiling face and get some good eats that are sadly and rapidly becoming a lost art. ref: 24445

RW Woods is where "us" Locals Eat! No tourist allowed. (Joke OK?) Local Gut Grenades (Hot Dogs), the Best Ice Tea in the Area and It's Reasonable!

My husband and I eat breakfast most of the time and it is great!Lunch is very good too and plenty of it. Very friendly place. Awesome old general store atmosphere and Richard is very nice.
