We tried this Olive Garden because we were in the area. Our meal was very good, but it was our service that made the visit above average. Our waitress Danielle was great. She came by with refills, bread sticks, etc. before we were even finished with originals. She was on top of everything. Great job.

We are locals and come to this restaurant a lot but recently the wait was not worth it. Today we were told that we had to wait at least an hour before being seated. There were plenty of empty tables available. As we walked to the parking lot to leave we saw why. About six to seven wait staff were in the parking lot smoking and goofing off. No wonder this chain is soon to be history.

We are locals and have eaten at this Olive Garden many times and found it very enjoyable, food & service. Have recently been going to the new one on Hwy 501 across from Tanger Outlet and after 3 visits there I can say we look forward to going many more times. On June 29, 2013 we were eating at the new Olive Garden, a huge storm came up and one of the servers was walking customers out to their cars with an umbrella so we would not get soaking wet. That says a lot for the Olive Garden, their servers and management and the food and service was OUTSTANDING. They had our money so this kindness was not necessary. Seems people voice "dislikes" more than "likes", but I say we all should share the good news as much or more than the bad news. I can honestly say I have never had bad service or bad food at any Olive Garden we have gone to in Myrtle Beach or Columbia and we have gone to them many times.

As a Myrtle Beach Local, I have to say this is the worst restaurant at the beach. We have tried this place many times and every time there is a huge issue with the food and service. The manager is a hot head, the wait staff has no clue what they are doing and even the cook was angry at us, when it was the waiters issue and then the manager screamed at the cook. This was the most uncomfortable situation I have ever been in. DO NOT eat at this restaurant.

I love the place , but no matter what time of year we go we can never get seated in a reasonable time. The entire experiance usually takes us 2 to three hours whenever we go with wait time and slow service. Its just not a feasable to plan another activity for the night unless your whole evening is gonna be at this resturant. The place usually has people sitting outside on the curb and people hanging out lined up along the wall in the inside and the bar area is crowded and not relaxing. So the noise makes the place not very pleasing. This place has been like this for years.

We have eaten at many Olive Gardens at home and on vacations but I will have to say that this one had a wonderful atmosphere about it. The employees were great. We had our two little granddaughters with us and they treated them like they were their own children. The only thing I did not like was that I went off and left my leftovers all boxed up sitting on the table when I left. Man I wanted that cheese filled raviolli for a mid-night snack. I hope your trip there is as enjoyable as mine was.

Hi, Kathy Miranda (mgr)....My husband and I just now had dinner at your wonderful restaurant on N Kings Hwy, we are at Ocean Creek very close by. You stopped by our table to ask how things were going, we were pleased with your inquiry and visit with us. I have to tell you - our waitress, Jessica, was most attentive, informative as to the menu and shared a few special minutess with me at the end of our meal when I insisted she sit and talk for a moment. The atmosphere of your establishment is welcoming and relaxing, we eat there twice every April when we drive down from Canada for a month's vacation in Myrtle Beach. Thanks to you and to Jessica, we'll not only be back next year, but will inform our friends who also come to town and are looking to spend an hour or so with delicious food and the nice staff you provide. Great work, people...keep it going! Yours truly, Elizabeth & Bob Duffin, KIngston, Ontario.

My first time trying Olive Garden and I will definitely be back. This was the best lasagna I have ever tried. My wife had the chicken alfredo and was totally satisfied. Our waiter was very friendly and helped us with our choices. Great food and great service makes for an enjoyable experience.

Good restaurant. I've eaten at alot of Italian restaurants and this is without a doubt the best. Food is served fast, too, because they use mostly prepackaged products. You don't have to wait for them to cook your meal from scratch. Tases like Lean Cuisine but you have alot more variety! I wondered if I could buy some from their company to take home and preheat it myself when we don't feel like cooking.

I've tried this place on three different occasions, and each was worse than the prior. On the first trip, my wife and daughter and I waited over 30 minutes for our food - and had to get it to go since we waited so long. THIS IS A VERY OLD BUILDING. The last time was it - we went in and got seated at a table and the sour smell of old food debris was overwhelming. We asked to be moved and when we were it was no different. The smell permeated the place, and I'm hoping what we were smelling was food-stained carpet and soured table cloths, and not MOLD in the ventilation system.

Ate there on October 21, 2007 and loved it. Hadn't done this chain in a long time but was happy with the excellent food! I had steak medallions which were very tender and delicious. Hubby had gnocchi (probably best in the states so far) and chicken which were great. Our kids loved their food (off of adult menu and child's menu) EXCEPT the kids pizza was horrible. Service great; we weren't charged for the pizza either. Kids can't wait to go again.

This is one busy Olive Garden, we arrived early about 5:00 p.m. and waited for app.25 minutes. The food was great and the waitress was excellent. A manager was going table to table asking guests how everything was. The restaurant was full when we left and there was a 45 minute wait.

This is the best Olive Garden that we have been to by far. The service was excellant, our waitress, irene, was the best in every aspect! we were in the restaurant at lunch time and it was fairly busy but our wait wasn't long at all, about 10 minutes. We ordered the soup, salad and breadstick lunch special and it was superb! very, very good. We were served our drinks and shortly there after our food arrived. I just can't say enough about how great everything was..

Our family wanted a nice fresh meal not deep fried .The service was most excellent our waiter had even visited where we are from. The place was beautiful and the food was fantastic. The prices were fine but you get what you pay for .It was my daughters and neices birthdays and they even brought out a cake for them and sang .We will definitely be going back to the olive garden when we return in August. In total our bill for 2 adults and 5 children with drinks was $75.00 for a family of 7 that is excellent for the food and service.I just wish we had an olive garden near us at home.

I visited this restaurant on a Monday night and walked in at 9pm and was immediately seated in a far dining area. My friend and I are both servers and expected at best a chain restaurant service and food level. We sat for about five minutes when the hostess arrived back at our table and informed us that our waiter would be with us soon. Another ten minutes goes by and our waiter shows up only to tell us that he had been "cut early" and our waitress would be with us shortly. Our waitress arrived about ten minutes later and was without any doubt the very "worst" waitress to be found in Myrtle Beach. She used the word "wonderful" and the phrase "Not a problem" so many times that we actually thought this might be a "hidden camera show". I am talking no less than fifteen times each! She first approached our table which was set for three (there was only two of us) and used the third chair to prop her leg in and lean down towards us to take our order. Everything we said or responded to her was responded back with "wonderful" or "Not a problem" . We just about lost any appetitie that we walked in with. We chose the unlimited pasta and our server suggested salads to accompany the pasta. We weren't told of the additional charge for the salads. I have seen better salads in many other establishments so I wasn't so pleased to pay additionally for this poor example of a salad. All total I believe our wait time from seating to being served our entree was approx. 30 mins. and would you believe it....the waiter that told us we would have to wait on our server because he was leaving was actually the person who delivered our entrees. Just after our entrees were delivered our server came by with another couple of "wonderfuls" and "Not a problems" and one of the head waitresses came into the dining room and plopped down across from us and proceeded to discuss the side work that our server (apparently the last one in the place) had to perform before leaving. They discussed this by hollering back and forth across the dining room. They then proceeded to complain about the lack of business and poor tipping customers. We just couldn't believe that the service was this bad and that the servers just didn't have a clue how unprofessional they were. Oh our server did let us know that one of the nearby tables that had just left was her boyfriend and that they had moved here from Boston and blah, blah, blah, like we cared! No dessert was offered and we had to ask for coffee which after another unbearable "No Problem" was served ice cold. Not the way we ordered. We asked for hot coffee and was told we would have to wait for some to be made. The coffee came and then since we were the last customers in the restaurant, our server came and propped her leg back up in the extra chair and began discussing her life's story. We actually tipped her $10.00 on a $30.00 check in hopes of getting her enough money to move away from Myrtle Beach, S.C. We couldn't believe she made the statement just prior to paying the bill that servers should receive tips based on the quality of their service. Since we couldn't figure out how to give a negative amount of tip we went ahead and gave the poor girl $10.00. You servers out there understand that sometimes you meet a server that will only ever dream of being a good professional server and that for them "fine dining" is something that they only see in the movies!

We visit this particular Olive Garden every time we come to Myrtle Beach because it is within walking distance of where we stay.

We have never been dissapointed. The service, atmosphere and food is always excellent.

It's always very clean and their prices are much more reasonable than most other local restaurants.
