This resayrant was one of the reasons to visit Myrtle Beach. Why did it close? We need one here in the Phoenix area. Phoenix has an abundance of restaurants but none themed like this. Having one at the track would really expand the area and bring more people and even a NASCAR school to this area. Especially if it was sucessful and it would be. With funding I would love to give it a try as the manager here. Just look at how well the In-n-out burgers are doing here.

I loved this soo much. When we would come to sunset beach (which by the way is a great beach) me and my daddy would go every year. When it closed I was crushed. Now we go to hard rock cafe or play mini golf and that is not at all as fun. If they open it back up it would make very many people happy. There loss.

What an absolute shame that the new management ran the restaurant into the ground & caused it to close! I was so looking forward to going there today while on vacation in Myrtle Beach from KY! How disappointed I was to pull in the parking lot & see it shut down & abandoned! I so hope someone with some business sense will open it back up someday soon!

Hello all you NASCAR Cafe fans, I worked there for 5 years and was very sad when it closed, but a new company had bought the chain and it only lasted a year because they tried to change everything, it was no longer just about nascar, they tried to turn into a college hot spot and all sports theme. The new management sucked ! .

Very very disappointed to see NASCAR cafe closed. It was one of our favorite attractions to go to when we were in Myrtle Beach. Our family has many good memories from there. It's sad to know what will probably happen to the many famous drivers' signatures on the wall there.

We went to MB this past week, and I was so disappointed. The Nascar Cafe was closed, and it looked like it should have been part of a ghost town. The lawn needed mowed, the weeds have taken over, and it just looked terrible. Myrtle Beach lost one of it's BEST food establishments. Nothing worth going to Myrtle Beach for now.. I can go anywhere else to see the ocean ... Myrtle Beach just lost my $$$ as the Nascar Cafe was the place to eat.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. We have been there several times in the last few years. The quality of food and service has improved each time we visit. A manager (Frankie)came to us 3-4 times just to make sure everything was going well. He seemed to be in control of everything!! We love the TV's at each table. The service was great and the kids loved the games after dinner. Even if you are not a Racing fan, this is the place for all "Real Sports Fans"!!!!.

We have been going to the Nascar Cafe in Myrtle Beach everytime we goth Myrtle Beach at leasr once.We like Nascar and have always had a good time and good food there. But this last visit will most likly be our last.I do not mind paying a price for good food. But the last time we were there. The food was not good and the amount for the money was bad. My husband ordered a hot dog , it was on a quarter pound hot dog roll, but the hot dog was smaller than a regular hot dog., he got only a few fries and this was almost ten dollars. He said it was not even a good hot dog.We could have gotten a better meal at the 7-11.I understand you pay some for the the Nascar stuff, but this was terrible and I doubt if we will ever go again. We were very disappointed. At different times we have taken a lot of people there because we thought it was neat and the food was good, a bit pricy . But good. That is sure not the case any more.

Our family sent the day at the Nascar speed park and thought that we would like to have lunch at the Nascar cafe instead of at the snack bar that was inside the park area. This was a mistake , the staff acted like things didnt register with them , the noise level was extremely loud, our order was not right and we tried to accept it move on. It was only after the waitress would not bring the check that I lost my paitence, she had to much responsibilty, she had to cover all the tables and bartend. I would advise any one that wants to have good food and pleasant staff to eat any where else but here. Management did take off the cost of the wrong item after they had resolved a problem with another guest.

Recently went to Nascar Cafe during weekend trip (which we do frequently). Had not eaten there in quite some time, and I remember why. Our server was new or something, so everything was brought to us in stages....took forever to get some may for my burger, which was undercooked and tasted like gristle...my sisters said the wings were tasty...my niece and son enjoyed the Miller Lite girls who were there doing driving demos and giving away free stuff...We went during off season, on a Saturday afternoon and it was not good. There are too many other places to eat in MB, will not be returning.

What a cool concept! We really enjoyed the racing memorabilia and the whole atmosphere of the place. There were flat screen TV's in every booth, video games, a NASCAR museum. A great concept for the family.

Unfortunately it is the dirtiest restaurant I've ever eaten in. The bathrooms were filthy and dilapidated. In a vent over the toilet a hot, nasty smelling air was blowing in. The hot water spigot didn't work and piping hot water came out when I turned the cold water on, with no way to cool it down. My wife says the women's room was gross too. Walking by the kitchen it was evident that it was dirty as well. Everything had a dirty, greasy, look and smell to it. The restaurant itself smelled like dirty mop water and didn't look like it had been actually cleaned recently. The high chair for out daughter did not appear to ever be cleaned or wiped off, it was filthy and grungy. Four of the five plates brought to our table with the appetizer had food dried on them. We just got back so it remains to be seen whether we'll get sick from being there. In hindsight I wish we'd left when we got there but we already ordered our food before discovering the depths of how filthy the place is.

My wife and I both ordered the French Dip. Both of us hated it, and I'm usually a fan of the sandwich. It was served on a sub roll so it got too soggy. The roast beef was tasteless. The Au Jus sauce looked and tasted like dirty brown water. Maybe it was the dirty mop water we smelled.

I will NOT be taking my family there again. It's not worth the risk of food disease.

Was told that the wait was 30mins, ended up waiting 75mins. No food was served, including appetizers, for 45 mins after we ordered. Ended up spending more than 2:30hrs for the dinner. Bathrooms (mens) were dirty and there were no toilet paper left - clearly is not cleaned frequently. Would not recommend anyone.

If my wife and I had not been so hungry and tired we would have left when the food was first brought to our table. She had the salad with grilled chicken which she said "the salad was OK, but the chicken tasted like the frozen type which is microwaved prior to serving." I went with what I thought would be a safe order and got the chili dog with corn on the cob - big mistake. The chili dog tasted like it had been sitting around for quite a while and the corn on the cob had lost any resemblence of tasting like corn. I sent the corn back for some onion rings instead and my wife and I ate the rings and promptly left. The entire restaurant was much less than clean. Smelled like the place had not seen a good scrubbing in months,.. years? Needless to say we will not return or recommend to anyone we like.

As noisy as you would expect a "NASCAR" themed restaurant to be, but that's why you go, right? NASCAR has, hands down, the best food of any of the "theme" restaurants in town. Try the pulled pork sandwich and the ribs. There's always something on the ceiling to look at or something else going on while you wait for your food to be served.

I am a local and brought my brother, his wife and two little kids here tonight for dinner. All four adults felt the food was ok - not great, but not terrible. We are not Nascar fans, but my husband, brother and little nephew love cars, so they enjoyed that aspect of it. We went their to keep the kids happy and busy. That part was successful with all the games they had for the kids. The noise level however was unreal. If they would turn the volume down a little on all the TVs it might've been a bit more tolerable for us all.

A party of 4 waited for 40 minutes to get in, we were told this ahead of time. There were empty tables everywhere when we were seated, not sure why there was such a wait. We ordered an appetizer at 8:10 and placed our order. We got the appetizer about 8:30. At 8:50 we asked how much longer on our food, about 15 minutes later we were told the kitchen messed up. We asked for the manager after that, she told us that sometimes your order gets put to the end when you order an appetizer. A few minutes later she told us our order had not even been put in until we asked about it around 8:50. Finally at 9:15 our food arrived and we just boxed it up and was ready to leave with it. However, it took another 15 minutes just to pay our bill. Yes, we paid the bill, we did get our tea and appetizer free. I would have thought the entire meal should have been free since we spent 2 hours in there but it wasn't. Not sure those hamburgers and grilled chicken was really worth the wait. My daughter lives in MB and she will not eat there anymore, don't think I will return either. Never got I'm sorry for the delay from the manager either.

Very good if you like NASCAR. The walls are filled with NASCAR images and they have a museum you can go into. The food is good. You will not be disapointed with your food.

I loved this place! It had great food and a GREAT atmosphere! It is a good place to go if you are a NASCAR fan! I am Jeff Gordon's #1 fan. They have something for every racecar driver there. The atmosphere is surrounded with cars and photos of drivers and past drivers. The also have a game room that is really cool. This is the BEST place in Myrtle Beach to eat lunch and have fun! We will continue to come here year after year! Try this restaurant and i guarantee you that you will not be disapointed.

We had dinner at the Nascar Cafe on 6/24/06. My husband and son are Nascar fans and I am not, so I was a little skeptical about eating dinner there. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent and you get huge portions. I had the pulled pork platter with baked beans, cole slaw and french fries. It was delicious. My husband had the barbeque ribs and said they were very good. If you have children, this restaurant is a must! It is very child friendly. There are lots of video games to entertain the kids while they wait for there food. The food was great. The atmosphere was great. I can't wait to go back next year!

This is a very nice restaurant if you like race cars. It also has a small museum inside and games which my kids loved. It's great while waiting to be seated. The food is delicious. We come to Myrtle Beach on the 4th of July for family vacation and we always look forward to coming here.

Great job on the theme! Feel as if your there. Lots of extras and games for the kids. Good food. Noisy somewhat because of it being nascar. I recomend this place if you are a diehard nascar fan. Great Job!

If you are a race fan that likes loud engines and all the excitement this is the place to go! The food is great plus you get entertained by all the action of previous races and/or greatest moments. If that isn't enough you can walk around the outside of the dining area and see all your favorite racers and buy merchandise. They even have a simulator and other rides for the kids! Very entertaining!
