This restaurant closed several years ago. The space is currently occupied by Black Thai Restaurant, which is excellent. Their phone # is (843) 916-8424.

Loyal Thai does not make authentic Thai food. I could have made better Thai food at my house. The food is over priced. However, the atmosphere was nice and the server we had was nice and had no problem taking off my date's Pad Thai. If you want very good authentic Thai food, go to Bangkok House, the food is great! Moreover, light on your pocket.

My friend Tim had ranted and raved about your restaurant, so he wanted to take us for our birthday, October 26, 2005. We had 11 people with atmosphere like that we were bound to get a little noisy. Not one person said anything, the food was amazing, the waitress was there when we needed her, but not crowing us. Over All: A+.

We came back again on August 11, 2006, for another special occasion.

The servers are smokin' and the food is good. Tuesdays are an especially good day to visit with the 1/2 priced appetizers and drink discounts.

As travelers to Thailand we were looking for a restarant that served authentic Thai food. We saw a review for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We ordered Spring rolls that were awful. They were filled with lettuce, carrots and cucmbers. Pad Thai - Which had an american taste to it and was sticky and lumpy and we could hardly stomach it. Thai fried rice - which is not supposed to have carrots and peas in it. We spent 45.00 for that food we eventually gave to the seagulls. How Loyal thai got ranked as one of the best is beyound me.

My wife and I have been to Loyal Thai several times because they rarely disappoint. Very good food, service, and atmosphere. Can get too noisy if crowded. The prices are low for both food and wine. We like the bohemian feel of the decor. We will go back.

It is a good thing the food here was very good, since the rest of the experience was disappointing. The group of loud, drunk twenty-somethings at the next table were more annoying than they would have been, due to the concrete floor, open kitchen, and loud music. A large, noisy group in the back room was probably responsible for an additional 10 decibels of noise. Normally, we like a little action. But it was literally impossible to talk without yelling at each other. The service was competent and professional, but the apetizer arrived only 60 seconds before the entree. Probably the kitchen's fault, but still....

A great atmosphere, with changing art exhibits. I've never been twice & seen the same art on the walls. Beautifully decorated & fresh flowers are always abundant. Great choices of seating; sidewalk, front, rear dining area, bar, or back garden patio under huge umbrellas. The food's not too shabby, and in my opinion, this is a happy medium of upscale & affordable.
