Upon visiting this Resturant I ordered the Sunday special of turkey and dressing. I would have received the same meal from a TV dinner. Dried out turkey, canned been beans and boxed stuffing. The apples were so soft that they broke apart when picked up my husband ordered a sampler and never received his salad or appetizer until after his meal was served. The manager did speak with us and removed the appetizer charge. Would not return very disappointing. ref: 28178 ![]() |

My 2 sisters myself and our spouses along with some of our kids took our mother and father out for her birthday sun night. The food was not that bad but they were out of alot of the items we would have ordered ribeye, popcorn shrimp to name a few and had 5 5oz sirloins left which anyone could run out of food having a good weekend. But what really was the biggest problem we had 12 people in our party and by mon 6 were sick with colds wonder if someone handling our food was sick. ref: 20824 ![]() |

My husband and I had our first experience with Fatz restaurant about 2 years ago. EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. We now have a winter home in Conway and eat at your restaurant as much as we can and bring our guests with us, who also enjoy the food, atmosphere, cleanliness, courtesy of the waiters and the economic pricing of the menu. My husband says your steaks are the best he has ever tasted. There are indeed many restaurants to eat at in the area, but let me be the first to say, FATZ is No.# 1 on our list. Keep up the good work and see you soon.

This restaurant is unreal! Fatz has the nicest people! We rarely get this level of service up north! We both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection, tender, and tasted great. The server was named Mary kate, and she was a hoot! Best value at the beach for the buck and a must stop as you drive thru! Very clean too! ref: 14940 ![]() |

On Mother's Day our small family visited Fatz Cafe for the first time and I'm sad to say I was disappointed. We were seated promptly and our order was taken quickly however our food took over 45 minutes to come to the table and was colder than room temp.Thankfully my 6 year old doesn't like hot food and was just happy to eat the food he was finally given. When all was said and done we paid for my sons meal my ice tea and my husbands beer and left.I went to bed angry and hungry "Happy Mother's Day from Fatz Cafe in Conway" ref: 14939 ![]() |

We love Fatz in Conway and always take friends and family there, BUT this last visit and one before were not the best we have experienced. The pink slip with the specials twice now I ordered the Surf and Turf and twice I had a bad experience with the beef think it would be better this time. Tough the first time 3/27/2009 but ate, others in our party enjoyed their fish, 4/11/09 we took my daughter and granddaughter and raved about the food and were embarrassed because again it wasn't up to par. My daughter's Pecan fish was bland and the cheese on top was pushed aside due to the texture and look. Again I ordered the Surf and Turf, the steak was raw and needed to be returned to the kitchen (which I never do) and it came out better but so salty I couldn't eat it. I shared it with my husband and daughter and they both agreed. I don't know if Conway has new cooks or what but things do not come out consist and good as it has in the past. As locals we will still go to Fatz with the hopes of better meals. We love the Fried Green Tomatoes and grits. We don't want to not go there but feel we won't take family from out of town again until it is consistant. ref: 14584 ![]() |

Well worth leaving the Myrtle Beach area for this cafe. All five of us loved our meals and desert. Our waitress was great with her southern touch. The manager came to our table to see if we were enjoying our food and service. That would never happen in Boston. Don't leave without having the peach cobbler.
The bathrooms were spotless! ref: 13255 ![]() |

We had a delightful dining experience at your Conway Restaurant last evening. A group of eleven ladies went to dinner to celebrate a birthday. Tim Starmer was our server. He was not only a waiter but an entertainer. The time passed quickly as we enjoyed our food and entertainment. A variety of food was ordered but everyone was satisfied with the food. Without a doubt, Tim was the best waiter/entertainer we have ever had. He certainly helped to make this birthday celebration a success.

Our first experience at this particular one we visited was not a good one at all.
To begin with, the table we were taken to was really wet from cleaning and the seats and the table had to be dried off before we could be seated.
We both had salads to begin with which was really good but then we waited and waited for our main entree which took over 30 minutes to be brought to us.It was cold and the manager on duty said he would take care of it.
Then we asked the server for boxes to take the remaining portions with us and again had to wait another 15 minutes for that also.I could have been more patient if they had really been busy but really wasn`t.
By the time the manager had gotten back to us the server had taken the card and ran it thru so he had to go back there run it back thru for credit. Now we have to wait for the credit to clear on this if it does at all.
He did offer us another free meal on him for all this but I think a lot of this could have really been avoided and handled better from the manager on down.I will not mention any names with this but this company should know who the manager is and when he was working. All this took place on 4-26-08. ref: 10789 ![]() |

Danny Causey and Linda Nolan went to Fatz on november 30, 2007 to eat dinner. We were seated right away. Several people were seated after we were and were served drinks. We sat there 25 mnutes and nobody ever came to our table. I finally asked someone to get the manager. The manager came right away and his name was weyman dublin. We asked him how long it took for someone to be waited on and he said 60 seconds. We told him that we had been there for 25 minutes and he apolized. He got a waitress from the bar named michelle pearce and she was wonderful. He took care of our bill for us, he said the waitress that was suppose to wait on us was new and she forgot our table. Weyman dublin is a very nice man and a good manager. The food there is wonderful and we will be back again.. ref: 9411 ![]() |
