Very bad food. Clam strips were obviously pre-frozen and half the order was nothing but fried breading balls. The cost was $14.99 and way overpriced for frozen, chewy clam strips. Complimentary p-nuts were stale. Management offered us a coupon to come back for 2 meals at $30! We will not be back!

By far the best eating experience the entire time we were here. We had a party of 9 and they were so accommodating and very patient with us. Food was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be apart of our annual family vacation for years to come!

When we went to MB in may 2012 we went twice in a week. My wife and I loved the crab dip and wings...spectacular!! Server had good knowledge of menu and portion sizes. And the portions are very generous and the flavour and quality of good is great. We went back a second time with rest of our family and both sets of inlays who are both picky eaters and were pleased with the food at Duffy's. Will definitely go back next time we are in MB either on the boys golf trip or with the family again.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place tonight because we wanted seafood, but not a buffet. We arrived about 6:30 and there were some cars in the parking lot, but the place was far from packed. We go in and wait 15 minutes, before we were even acknowledged, because the hostess was basically running the place by herself. She was waiting tables, bar tending, and hosting while a couple of guys that worked there were standing around. Finally a lady (I'm going to assume was the owner or manager) shows up and takes us to a table. She was not friendly or apologetic about the wait time, just asked what we wanted to drink and took off. She then comes back and takes our order and that was the last we saw of her. We sat there for 35 minutes before anyone else even came to ask us if there was anything we needed. Finally a girl came and told us our food would be just a few more minutes. When in actuality it took another 25 minutes. When we finally got it mine was good (deviled crab and scallops) his was under cooked (fantail shrimp and for the love of God, do not order the sweet tea). It was good, but not worth the wait at all.

Everything was excellent. Great, fresh oysters. The blackened grouper was very very good. My wife loved the steamed shrimp and raved about the crab cakes. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money on crappy buffets. Go eat here for fresh local seafood. The service was also excellent and they took good care of our kids. Pricing is very reasonable and portions are great.

A fun relaxed atmosphere with surprisingly great seafood and prices, and plenty of it. Pretty good deal actually

Relaxed, fun atmosphere, great fish tacos, clams and oysters. We'll definitely go back when we are in town. Only issue was the temp in the place was very cold and there were some condensates vents dripping with buckets to catch the water....but don't let that stop you from eating here... Great food!

We visited the North Myrtle location in July 2011. My daughter and I love seafood while my husband and son are the steak guys. This was the great compromise! My daughter and I shared a platter so I could introduce her to several types of seafood. It was SO good and plenty of food (she's 9). My husband and son each ordered steaks. One mistake we made was not realizing that we needed to be specific on spices. They just ordered 'steak' and both received blackened steaks. Neither one is particularly fond of the blackening spices. When I spoke to the waitress on the way out she assured me that they make steaks to order all the time and the next time we go we just need to let them know how the guys like their steaks prepared. Like every restaraunt, I do wish there were more options on the kids menu. Since my daughter I were able to share a dinner, we did splurge and buy my son a steak off the regular menu. Could we all start a push to have kids menus expanded to include smaller portions of the regular menu! Anyway, LOVE DUFFY'S!

We were looking for some good seafood and not a buffet. The restaurant was clean and very empty. We were seated right away. Our server came over to take our drink order and every time she walked away she stopped at the table behind us to talk for at least 5 minutes. Our pop was so watered down so we asked to switch to lemonade and she wanted to argue with us over switching because of the price difference. Even when we asked her to get us something she still found a reason to stop by the table behind us. At the end of the meal, I asked for two lids for our dressing that we were taking home because she brought out our salads 2 minutes before our dinners came out. The server grabbed the lids and she stopped in the connected dining room to talk to the table behind us as they were leaving again before bringing them to me. I waited after paying my bill for 5 minutes to watch her talk to them! It was rediculous and so annoying. On top of everything I had to walk out holding a childs drink cup and three togo boxes without a bag because I didn't want to wait another 5 minutes for that. So I stopped at the bar thinking I would get a bag quicker, bad decision. I asked for one from the bartender and he yelled into the kitchen and a girl walked towards him with it and another customer walked into the kitchen and hugged her and they talked for 5 min. By this point I was so frustrated I wanted to scream so I walked out! What is wrong with this place? The food was not bad and the corn bread was excellent but our server definately could have acted like she was working and not like she was at a social event. Thankfully, we were her only other table.

We chose Duffy's after reading the reviews here. My wife wanted to avoid deep fried foods, but I wanted seafood, and we both wanted to avoid a buffet. It sounded like Duffy's had good variety and good quality. Well, all their menu items WERE fried, except for their award-winning shrimp & grits, so that's what my wife ordered. It ended up being grits & onions & bell peppers & cheeze & sausage, with a few shrimp hidden in there someplace. I ordered a "catch of the day" grouper, blackened, which was extremely dry. Atmosphere was below average (I consider peanut shells on the floor to be just a mess). Service was excellent, portions were very big, but food quality was less than I expected given the price we paid. Perhaps a great place to take young kids, but not the right place for a grown couple.

We went to the resturant row location after reading the reviews for all the duffy locations. Chose resturant row mainly because we were sure we could get a table rather quickly. Man were we pleasantly surprised. The waitress "Kristin" was wonderful. She was extremley helpful and friendly. The food was superb. My wife is not a seafood eater so she always gets steaks and they normaly are crap at a seafood house. Hers was better than some we have gotten at Steak houses. It was one of the best I have ever tasted. We got there before 6 and ordered from the raw bar menu and the oysters, shrimp and crablegs were awsome. It was cheaper than buffet and we left stuffed. Great place!!! We have a new place to eat at Myrtle Beach now. Please give this resturant your business.

Tried this place for the first time in June, 2010. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that everything is fresh made, including appetizers that are usually frozen at other places. It was late on a Sunday night and early in the month before schools let out so we were seated right away. Our server was from Russia and was very friendly and informative. My fried shrimp, stuff crab and fried flounder platter was excellent as was the steam pot my husband got. We especially loved the fried pickles.
