For a 24 hour establishment does not always have inventory. Went at 3pm out of many donuts (cherry bavaraian creme). drove all the way from NC. disappointed ref: 28223

My wife and I go to Myrtle Beach two or three times a year. Never leave without picking up a dozen of the red velvet cake doughnuts. These are the best we have ever tried. ref: 28096

These donuts are the best but I wouldn't recommend going thru the drive-thru. They rarely have the kind of donut you want. I had to rate the inside of the restaurant in order to submit this review but we have not been inside - only use the drive-thru ref: 27834

Have only been to Dough Man's one time but my experience there could not have been better. They did not have the doughnuts I wanted already made and inside the case but the lady said she would be glad to make me some. She covered the chocolate cruller with coconut cream icing and sent me happily on my way. If I lived in Myrtle Beach, a trip to Dough Man's would be on my agenda at least once a week. ref: 27704

It's funny-I don't ever post reviews however-I was told how great the doughnuts were so I decided to pick up for an office meeting. I wanted to call to see if they had bagels also and if I needed to place a large order for the next day in advance. By the time I realized it they'd hung up. So I called back to apologize and get answers-they must have caller ID because the woman (with an accent) just started yelling at me about not speaking when I had called and then hung up on me---Will NOT be placing our office orders with them, this time or in the future! ref: 27125

The donuts are excellent! Customer service - not so much. A donut shop should be a happy place. I want to be happy while eating these delicious donuts. But the cranky ladies really ruined the mood. ref: 25783

Ohhhh My God..This place is better then Dunkin Donuts.Their cream filled donuts are so filled they burst when you bite into them.I have to go there at least every day when me and my family come down for our vacation.Hopefully the owners never sell this place or change any of their recipes ref: 21654

The Donut Man donut taste like, Dunkin donuts but they are bigger and you can get a combo. lets say two donuts and a medium coffee. for 3 dollars.. I like to sit down and watch the large flat screen tv that they have or just relax reading the paper. The donut man donuts are very tasty and fresh. the Muffins they have many to choose from ... from apple. to bannana, to blueberry, to pumpkin etc. I go their once a week. and let me tell you wont be dissapointed. ref: 19499

We stopped at this doughnut shop last year & loved it ,very clean , very cool decor but most of all fresh fresh items as a matter of fact my boss goes here every year & always brings some home & I will do the same , very friendly staff as well this is good for a fast stop or a sit down stop as well very tasty ill be going back soon and would recommend to all . ref: 19438

The donuts here are great. We always have to get them a couple times each trip to Myrtle Beach. They have so many kinds to choose from, and they are always fresh. ref: 18587

My friend and I rode around the beach from 9PM until 10 PM just looking for somewhere to get some coffee, everywhere was closed. We happened to find donut man, which neither of us had ever heard of. We went thru the drive thru and weren't quite sure what everything on the menu was. The man at the window was very helpful in telling us everything about each of the coffee drinks. We were very satisfied with the service and quality of the food; we even went back the next morning to get two dozen donuts and more coffee! The coffee is much cheaper than Starbucks (personally, I think it taste better), and the donuts are cheaper, and bigger than Krispy Kremes! I definitely recommend Donut Man to anyone who is near. ref: 18519

The Donut Man is a good shop for doughnuts and coffee. The only problem you'll probably encounter during the whole trip would be the part where you have to actually interact with the person behind the counter. In paticular, an older, larger woman with big glasses and an accent. This woman is one of the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune of coming across before. Check your receipt with her because she'll charge you for expensive things you didn't order and if you're in the drive-thru, she'll just shut the window in your face in the middle of your sentence. And heaven forbid you pick up food for someone else from some other restaurant and the Donut Man is your second stop to get food for yourself. That happened to me and that same lady was there and she told me that she didn't have to serve me what so ever because we had brought in a bad from another place, "We had no right to even be in the building". That's going beyond extremely poor customer service and crossing into the realm of straight up mean and almost illegal. If she had actually told us to leave, I would have involved the police. And I did have to involve the police on another occasion when she charged me for something over double the price of what I had ordered and she refused to fix it or give me my money back. I was literally feet from the policeman who was just outside the door when she finally called me back to her gave me my money back.
My advice in the end.... Avoid this place completely if you don't have extremely high tolerance for people being rude to you and getting your order and bill wrong. ref: 18303
