Visited the restaurant Christmas evening around 6:30pm. Seated ourselves not knowing to wait to be seated because no one was inside seating. Seated ourselves at the same time observing staff. We asked a waitress if our table could be cleaned and have menus to be looking at. She said we should have never seated ourselves and then
began to start throwing dirty dishes, condiments and tip money in a dirty plate. Attitude flying!! We got up and walked out! The last time this Dennys will ever see us again!! ref: 27816

My wife and I ate at the Dennys in Surfside Beach, SC. A Female server by the name of "Alexis" was our waitress. Alexis was extremely polite and orderly. She was an absolute delight. If you eat there do yourself a favor and ask for her by name "Alexis". She is the most professional waitress we have ever had the pleasure to be served by. ref: 27814

Ordered soup on the first visit and it was served without a spoon. When I got the waitresses attention, she responded from across the diner that they didn't have any and she thought they had all been thrown out! asked for a regular spoon and after a fashion she brought it! on my second visit, our waiter brought my order in two separate servings and never once returned to ask how things were, just dropped the bill off at the table and the entire staff stood around chatting at the register and then proceeded outside to smoke! am not about to give this place a third try!. ref: 27308

Sometimes being a chef has it's downside when trying to eat out in an establishment after a concert at HOB....
With only 4 tables in the joint at 11:45pm, and a rather quiet Saturday night on tap for the young looking kitchen staff....we felt safe to sit and order anything off the menu.
We thought....
A sizzlin' prime rib skillet is supposed to come with tortillas and also a skillet (or at least it has at the other 900 Denny's we have ordered it in)....mine was delivered to the table and I was told they were out of tortillas.....the missing skillet never mentioned.
Besides the wobbling table, the missing food and delayed service....everything seemed okay for a Denny's....then it happened - I tasted the sauteed onions/peppers.....they were semi-frozen ! I mean cold to the touch, and almost made me think what the hell did I just put in my mouth.....
Once pointed out to our server, the lame manager never came over to check on us....or take the crap entree off the bill. They even up charged for whole wheat pancakes.....terrible.
With one last chance to redeem themselves, I luckily got the manager to ring us out....figuring she would surely ask me "How was everything"......of course, she did not.
As I surf the web for a restaurant manager's job, it is so sad that corporate places have such morons working their establishments....avoid this location and hit a Pancake Kitchen for some real Southern style food....Denny's should be ashamed ! ref: 22686

Sunday, march 13th- my wife and I went to this dennys for breakfast which tasted very good. One hour after leaving and going south, we were both hit with the runs. I mean bad runs. It lasted almost all day. Something was wrong with the food or the cleaniness?. ref: 22069
