We love Burky's, We come to Myrtle Beach on a regular basis, and after a 10 hour drive, Burky's is the first stop we make after we arrive and the last stop we make before we leave the beach... We crave it for months after we are home, its the best food at the beach, in my opinion. It can't be beat!! We are looking forward to eating there again real soon.... ref: 27226

We have been going to Myrtle Beach for many years, We came across Burky's and its the only place we want to eat in Myrtle Beach. It the first place we stop after a 10 hour drive and the last place we eat before we head home.... we stop in a few times during the week also... You cant find a better place anywhere, the food and service is the best you will find. We will be back very soon and cant wait to eat at Burky's. ref: 27225

We live in cincinnati and we stopped at burkys in m.b. Last week. The young lady who waited on us was very nice. I had hotdogs and my wife tried the cincinnati chili. It was good but not quite like skyline and gold star in cinti. We had a good meal and we will return next year.. ref: 25995

Since I live on the south end of town, it is a bit of a lengthy drive for me to get to Burky's, but, when I am in the 38th Ave neighborhood and it's time for lunch . . . that is where I stop! I like the consistency factor that Burky's fosters. The burgers, fries, and whatever you order is always the same quality every time you are there. The fries are always piping hot. The burger is always hot and tasty. I like the old time soda fountain atmosphere and the oldie music playing over the sound system. ref: 25710

We have been going to Myrtle Beach for 18 years. We have been going to Burky's every year since they took over the old Ritzy's that used to be there. Its our first stop after an 8 hour drive from Maryland. We have never been disappointed with the food. The burgers are some of the best, if not the best, we've ever eaten. Always fresh. The little ones like the hot dogs and ice cream. Looking forward to visiting again soon. ref: 23562

My sons family and I vacationed at Myrtle Oct 2010. I had read reviews of Burkey's online and told my son. We ate there and were above pleased. The food wag good, atmosphere like an old fashioned Drug Store, and service quick, not crowded, and staff above friendly. We ended up eating there 4 times during our week stay and will be one of the first places we go when we return to the Beach this October. On Friday night we got to see oodles of classic, restored cars and talk to their owners, a bonus indeed. Would gladly reccommend Burkey's to relatives friends. Have been eating here for many years, burgers, hot dogs & fries...just tried their pasta salad and found another dish there I like. I also like to go on friday nights for the summer because they have a cruise in from Myrtle Beach Car Club and you have a chance to view some amazing classic cars and speak with their owners. The staff is very friendly and accommodating...will be back again and recommend to all.

My family and I have been comming to myrtle beach for over twenty years. We have eaten at all the so called "best burger places on the beach" this year for the first time we ate at Burky's. The burgers, here, are the best I have eaten anywhere. Hot dogs, fried bologna sandwiches, chili, french fries, in fact the entire menu, is great. The service was great. All the staff was super friendly. Great atmosphere. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else for a burger.. ref: 19892

Had heard about Burky's last year from some friends that had come to Myrtle on vacation. As new residents of Myrtle Beach we are always looking for cheaper restaurants as we have three younger children. Well, Burky's is it. We loved the food and the price. All five of us at for less than $25. Cheaper than any of the chain burger places. The kids combos came with a burger, hot dog or corndog, fries, drink and a scoop of ice cream instead of one of the tacky kids meal toys (which quickly gets tossed). Will definetly be back many times and will tell visiting friends. Burky's has us as new regulars. ref: 19311

I love Burky's. Its like johnny rockets but only good and cheap lol. The service at Burky's is amazing some of the fastest fast food you will ever get. The prices are great compared to Five Guys and Johnny Rockets. The burgers, fries, and hot dogs all some of the best on the beach. I would highly recommend this place ref: 14815

You may find this strange that I rated everything excellent, yet write a negative review. Here's the situation: since we moved in the area, we had become regulars at Burky's and thought that it was the greatest place to be.
Until ... my husband found a long hair in his chicken sandwich, and no action was taken by the management after we reported it.
We've been driving by since, and just cannot find the stomach to be able to get back in, especially when we know that no measure was taken to prevent this from reoccurring.

I was at Myrtle Beach with my family from June 21-28th. We dined at many establishments on our trip, but this one was the best for the money. The burgers and hot dogs alike are great, even the fries. Love the hot dog chili. For about 25 bucks, we got double burger meals that included fries and soft drink and we all added on a hot dog. I came back a couple of days later and got hot dog meals for the three of us. I had read the reviews which were good and I am glad we came to Burky's Grill. Best value we found at the beach and the food is delicious. We love Burky's. We will be back!!! ref: 11740

I am addicted to Burky's! Once you eat one of their burgers, you will never be satisfied with a chain fast-food burger again. The service is amazing (the last 3 times I was there the owner took my order - what a pleasure!) the value is superb (a cheesebuger combo with CHEESE fries and a drink for under $5!!!) and the burgers are the BEST. They are cooked to order, so they are served hot! The atmosphere, great attitudes from all the employees, and yummy food should not be missed and are at a level that you just don't see anymore. We visited Burky's for the first time Aug 07 for lunch the girl who worked behind the counter was super friendly I don't recall her name, but she was pleasant. We had a coupon from restaurant.com great savings. Burky's is nothing fancy, but it's a great little lunch spot. The food was really good and hot freshly prepared. Children get a free ice cream with a kids meal. Great Value looking forward to returning next year.. ref: 8307

This restaurant blows! I've read the rest of the reviews and can only surmise that they owners wrote those reviews. The food was standard fare at best, nothing special to write about. The atmosphere left something to be desired with respect to a hamburger shop. The staff did a piss-poor job of cleaning the tables as my group and I had to clean the table we sat at, ourselves. The staff was yacking in back more than paying attention to it's customers who paid to eat there. The alledged "home-made" icecream, again, was nothing to write a review about, other than to say it was not only limited in choice but also expensive for the small amount received. I can honestly say that the next time we are down this way, we'll be sure to write off "Burky's" as a hole in the wall, retirement village type of dump. ref: 7202

Eating at Burky's is like stepping back in time before every burger joint was a Burger King, Wendy's, etc. The burger's and dogs are great, with chili on them if you want. They have old fashion ice cream too. The super nice owner welcomes the local Myrtle Beach Car Club members to congregate on Friday evenings (Saturday around lunch time during the winter season). I've had great fun meeting fellow motorheads with their muscle, antique, and sports cars. ref: 5649

Burky's is a "must stop" on every trip to Myrtle Beach for my family. Burgers remind me of a Wendy's single, but better. My usual meal is a hamburger and a 3-way chili (Cincinnati chili), with onions and texas pete. For those who have not had a Cincinnati chili, it's spaghetti with chili and cheese on top. My favorite. Don't forget to check the local coupon books. One has a 10% off the total bill, and another has a free hamburger with the purchase of a combo meal. ref: 4329

Well we cant say enough to make you eat here4 we are old time visitors and customers backdated to the Cj's time about 6 years ago. The name may have changed but the quality didn't. My husband craves there chili cheese fries all the time. It is a must go place every day we are visiting Myrtle Beach.
