We went for Valentine's Day and I have to say, being a local, this was probably the best dining experience we have ever had! We had reservations but had to wait a few minutes at the bar (it was packed)and the servers were outstanding. The hosts at the podium were so friendly and Carl, our waiter was excellent, he timed our food perfectly. The whole staff made us feel like we were the only guests! I would recommend anyone, whether visiting or local, to visit Bone Fish. You won't be disappointed! ref: 27850 ![]() |

We were looking for a good seafood restaurant and didn't want a fried food buffet. Didn't exactly know any local treasures so decided on BF ... especially since we had heard decent things about it and it was close. We started off with the popular Bang Bang Shrimp, which all enjoyed (even the kids). Entrees ordered were Diablo Shrimp Fettuccini, Shrimp and Scallops (w/ Chimi sauce), Imperial NZ Dory, and chicken fingers (off kid's menu). The main dishes were very good, but chicken fingers were a little off (but then again, it is a seafood rest.). Service was good although it took a little long for entrees to come out (it was a bit crowded). Restaurant was on the cool side and the ladies wished they had sweaters to put on. Lighting was dimmer than we normally like, but gives a little ambiance. Wait staff was very good and attentive. Overall was an above average experience ... would return. ref: 26734 ![]() |

This place is awesome. I've had the "bang bang" shrimp which I recommend you have the "bang bang " on the side in the winter. The mussels and saucy shrimp are also great apps. The home made bread, dipping oils, easy on the pocket cocktails during "happy hour". I have to mention the friendly service staff. Lisa on the bar is my favorite person. This place makes you smile when you enter, smile with the awesome service and smile with the fantastic tasting food. This is by far my favorite place to eat when I'm in North Myrtle Beach. ref: 24857 ![]() |

Wonderful food and atmosphere!!! Fish tacos are the best and the steak is ridiculously good~cooked to perfection!!!!! Somewhat pricey.. steak with add on salad $21.00, children's plates $6. (but lots of choices).
Only negative... lost my checkbook while on vacation and tried to backtrack. Called all four locations because we weren't sure which was the correct one~NO help from the people answering the phone. Almost bordered on rude.
Will DEFINITELY return!!! ref: 23341 ![]() |

My husband and I spend every summer vacationing in Myrtle Beach with family. Last summer we arrived at the Bone Fish Grill with a party of 6. Even though we had reservations, our table was not set up. They walked around looking for a table and then we were given the worst table in the restaurant--next to the kitchen. All we could hear were pots and pans and chefs given orders. We asked the manager for another table--there were many available in the main dining room. He walked around for a few minutes and returned with "There is no room for a party this size." I repeatedly explained how unhappy I was with the table and that there were available tables in the main dining room. He was rude and refused to change our table. Our party of 6 decided to leave. As we were leaving, waitresses were preparing another table in the main dining room for a large party. I was shocked and furious. I would never recommend this restaurant, nor will I ever eat there. I have eaten at the Bone Fish Grill in other cities and was treated with respect. ref: 18791 ![]() |

We live in North Myrtle Beach and go out often to eat. Been to the best. At Bonefish we had a very pleasant time at the bar. After that we went into the dining room to have dinner. The food was great! Portions were good, salad was nice and crispy and the Bang-Bang shrimp was excellant. Our only problem was our waitress. She was not very professional at all. She knew how to serve food but her attitude was very poor. At one point she rolled her eyes at me for asking her not to put a lot of ice in my water. The only smile we got was when she brough the bill.
We will definately go back again but will definately ask not to be seated at her table! ref: 16907 ![]() |

The first time we ate here was to celebrate our anniversary. The calamari was tender with a light panko breading and unusual dipping sauce. The mahi mahi with mango salsa was moist and flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and steamed perfectly. Their wine selection is priced nicely. I really enjoyed the comfortable but classy setting. You will likely have to wait and it tends to be a little loud. Have a drink and appetizer at the bar and chat with others. You will find that a lot of people keep coming back. This was our first time at the Bone Fish Grill. We arrived just as it was opening at 4. There was no waiting to be seated. I was a little worried about what my kids would eat because they are 4 and 5, but they loved their food. My son got the maccaroni and cheeese. Not your typical mac & cheese. It was penne pasta with a white cheese sauce. He liked it so much that the little bit that was left, he wanted to take back to the condo. My daughter got the meatballs and pasta. It took her a little while to take to the meatballs, but she also wanted to take her leftovers home. I got the shrimp diablo pasta. It was the best I ever had!!!!! Lots of shrimp with spinach pasta, onions, tomatos and lots of spice. If you love spicy food then you will love this. My husband got the shrimp and filet. He ordered medium but received well done. This is the only reason why I didn't give the quality of food an excellent rating. But this is such a good place to eat, we will definately go back!!!! ref: 11853 ![]() |

Do a lot of frequent "fine dining." This place was, by far, the most surprising, fabulous of all the restaurants we visited (including the likes of Greg Norman's, etc.) during a 2-week stay in Myrtle. The homemade pine-nut pesto in oil w/fresh bread was an excellent open. The impressive, lengthy wine list is superb. The mussels appetizer was amazing (hold onto that broth and get you some more bread!). The entrees (we had seafood, filet, pork loin) couldn't have been any better seasoned or cooked - we actually cut the 1" pork loin with a fork! Service, a very cordial and attentive young lady who also was intuitive in regards to not hover, was perfect. Although not a cheap meal, no where near as expensive as the quality of the meal would lead one to believe = WORTH EVERY CENT. CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN!! THANK YOU!!

I live in Frederick, MD and love eating at our Bonefish. I was looking forward to a similar experience, however, I was disappointed in the service. Our meals were good and the food was well prepared and fresh. My husband was served warm Clamato juice and though the server apologized he did nothing to correct or compensate. There was no salt on our table and it took asking two servers and a long wait time to finally get some. This was the best restaurant experience we had on our recent trip to North Myrtle Beach. The food was just unbelievably delicious. I ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were the best crab cakes I've ever had. I had the sesame seared ahi tuna as an entree and it was to die for....seared just right on the outside and red in the middle, complete with wasabi, soy sauce, and pickled ginger. What a treat! My wife had the shrimp and scallops. The scallops were huge and cooked to perfection. Even our 10 year old and 7 year old enjoyed the restaurant. An earlier review complained about the value, but I thought it was very reasonable. We had two adult entrees, two kids meals, an appetizer, salads, sodas for the kids and 4 adult beverages (2 for each for the adults,) and with a 20% tip, our total was just over $80. We had about a 45 minute wait, but it was well worth it. My only regret is that we didn't eat here on the first night of our trip - we would have probably gone back again! We are already planning a return trip to the area and Bonefish will most definitely be the first restaurant on our list. If you are planning a vacation and looking for a great dining experience, this is it. ref: 7432 ![]() |

As someone else mentioned we were underdressed in nice shorts. Our waitress was nice but not overly friendly. Felt like we were nothering her. I dont know how- we were the only ones there.
My husband and I love our seafood but not at these prices. For your average young couple who frequents Red Lobster the prices here were too high for us. We ordered 2 sodas and then looked at the menu. Needless to say we could only afford 2 appetizers and used our entire $25 gift card plus some. Have been to Bone Fish twice and each time have had a great experience. The wait staff is great! One of our party did not care for the drink she ordered and they gladly brought her another and deducted the other one off the bill. We all had one of the specials and none of us were disappointed. I recommend this highly but make sure you make reservations as the wait can be a long one. ref: 3739 ![]() |

While the food itself was very good, I should mention my problem was with the drink order. I ordered a chocolate martini and a friend at the table decided it sounded so good, he ordered one too. When the drinks came it was obvious the bartender only mixed enough for one drink and poured it into two glasses. We were both charged the full price of $6 for each drink. ref: 3667 ![]() |

Well, it was our first time in Myrtle Beach and our daughter picked this place to eat. It was fantastic. We all had varied fish dishes and all were wonderful. The key lime pie was so good and so was the chocolate macadamia nut brownie with toppings. We weren't exactly dressed for this place. We arrived in nice shorts and shirts. We felt very underdressed and felt that our waiter treated us a little too casually because of it. But all in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone who asks about a good place to eat in MB. ref: 3236 ![]() |

We wound up eating at Bone Fish Grill the first night of our vacation and it was so good that we went back on day three. We may try to eat there one more time before we leave town! It was excellent. My husband was a huge fan of the Bang-Bang shrimp. I liked the sea bass. The salads were great. We loved the bread with oil and pesto! Actually, there's wasn't anything about it we didn't like! ref: 3222 ![]() |

When you're on vacation, you really hope to find a restaurant that is exceptional, and adds to the magic of "being away from it all." The Bone Fish Grill is just such a place. What a wonderful dining experience! I had the Mahi Newberg, my wife had shrimp and scallops with Oscar sauce, and my daughter had the grilled rainbow trout. It was all terrific, and our server, Ingrid, was a real treat. And having read the reviews at this site before leaving for Myrtle Beach, we were sure to try the Bang-Bang Shrimp as an appitizer. Oh-My-God! I will probably make a meal of the Bang-Bang Shrimp on our next visit. Although calling itself a "grill", the refined atmosphere makes it an exquisite dining experience. ref: 2961 ![]() |

We ate at the Bonefish this past weekend. What a treat! It was perfect. The bang bang shrimp was awesome. Also the asian seared salmon was wonderful. Everything from start to finish was perfection. My husband ordered the sirloin and it looked and was as tender as filet mignon! It's a must!! ref: 1995 ![]() |

I am a local here in Myrtle Beach, and whenever I have out of town visitors, this is one of the restaurants I'm sure to take them to. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is great. The menu has good variety, the prices are fair considering the quality of the food, and the service is excellent. The only drawback to Bone Fish Grill is that it is sometimes takes a long while to get a seat, especially during the main tourist season, but I guess that just illustrates how popular and in demand this restaurant is. ref: 1875 ![]() |
