The calamari appetizer was the best I have ever had. the fish was excellent and was the homemade tarter sauce. We have found that this restaurant has very reasonably priced menu choices.

I love Bimini's. Food is great as well as the atmosphere. It's an "Oyster Bar and Seafood Cafe". The place is always busy. I don't know how anybody can say anything negative about it. Perhaps they need to indulge in the fine dining of the more expensive restaurants.

After reading the other reviews, I guess I expected alot. In stead, we were disappointed. It is a bar, so I guess we were delusional when we asked for non-smoking. No such thing in a bar. We ordered oysters on the half shell. Again disappointed. Got better and bigger at a AYCE buffet. The grouper sandwich was delicious but not good enough to bring us back.

This is the most disappointing seafood restaraunt experience in Myrtle Beach. The catch of the day was a frozen fish at best that lack everything and the price was ridiculous for what was served. This is the first review I have ever made and I felt so strongly about the poor quality of food I had to voice an opinion.

Our hotel referred us to Biminis and a few others for our golf week. Biminis was the best meal of the week. It's a very casual Florida style restaurant with very fair prices, especially for the amount of food you get. We had 7 in our party so we did have to wait for awhile to get a table but they have a great bar area so we had a couple of drinks first. Oysters on the half shell- best I've ever had and I eat them anytime they are available. Better even than my last trip to Acme in New Orleans and that's pretty **** good. I tasted one of my buddy's crab legs and it was also very very good. Not salty like others we have had in myrtle. Others in the group had grilled salmon, fried scallops (giant size btw) and everyone was very happy with the meal. The only thing I scored low here was from the noise. But it was loud becuase everyone was having a blast. The hotel told us to ask for Saul and he came over. He's the owner and must also be the mayor because he seemed to know everyone in the place. Good time & we will for sure be back.

We are South Carolinians - have gone to very South end and very North end of our wonderful beaches (Murrells Inlet to Cherry Grove) for the past 51 years!! So we KNOW great seafood - anything we have ordered is consistenly delicious, service is great, we sit outside because we know inside is loud (which it should be considering) We may have a lot of years under our belt but this place is where to go if you really love good seafood. Wear something you can get messy if nec.:)

My husband and asked for a recommendation from our hotel concierge -- casual, great local seafood. Wow, Myrtle Beach can do better than Bimini's. This place was a pit. The waiter served the wrong soup, dropped our Osyters Rockefeller (which he replaced and they were cold), the fried oysters were horrible and we were eaten by bugs when we sat outside. Buy a fish sandwich at a fast food restaurant and save your money!

My husband and I went to dinner here tonight and really enjoyed the experience. This is a Sunday night, Labor Day weekend @ 530pm. We were immediately seated and a drink order was taken. We started off with the jalapeno poppers. I ordered the 1/2 pot which came with 3 oysters, a ton of shrimp, 3 mussels, 3 clams and a ton of crab legs. It also included cole slaw, hushpuppies and corn on the cob. It was SO good! My husband had the grilled chicken (he is not a fish person) with hushpuppies, cole slaw and their potato chips. The servicer was very attentive - always coming over, filling drinks and switching out my bowl with empty shells. We would definitely come back next itme around!

This was our first time here. The place is nothing to speak about, Inside was very noisy so we decided to sit outside. It took about a half hour to be seated. The waitress was very nice and accomodating. Unfotunately we can't remember her name. But she was sweet and took very good care. We could tell she likes her job and is a people person. We ordered the scallops (wonderfully done) our daughter and her boyfriend ordered the crabs legs, they said they were good too. Dinner came with hush puppies (heavy but tasty) and slaw (this was very peppery) Our waitress brought out an order of fries, they were good and she didn't charge us for them. The two of us shared a piece of Key Lime pie (this was small and seemed store bought, dissapointing. Don't think we'll go back because there are way to many restaraunts to try. But we would recommend the food. Glad we tried them,

Food was amazing. We had crab legs, shooters, and the fish mahi mahi. Service was the worst I ever had. Kristen was our waitress... didn't even approach our table for 30 minutes after we had to ask someone for a waitress. She did not mention any of the specials and was completely awkward. Didn't even get an option for dessert. I used to be a waitress so I know how it it when you get busy but you should at least acknowledge your customers. Enjoy your dollar tip. I have never had to jip a waitress before.

I will start by saying that Biminis IS a restaurant/bar, and if you do not like a bar atmosphere, it is not for you. The food is amazing, the wait for us was maybe 5 minutes, and food was served in a timely manner. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone. The service is good when you consider everything that is going on, and everyone is very polite. My husband and I will definately be returning to Myrtle Beach and making a regular stop at Biminis everytime. We absolutly LOVED it!!

The High Point Resturant is the best. Planning on a trip there this coming week, at Myrtle Beach. I hope I am not dissapointed tis time. I doubt it!

After discovering Biminis 6 years ago, my girlfriends and I never miss it when we go to MB. The atmosphere is loud when they are busy (not a place for kids), but that is part of what makes it so much fun! The live bands they have during the peak weekends are a blast! Saul, the owner, is a sweetheart and has a great staff! If you get the chance, try Robert's seafood chowder! The grouper bites are good too! Sometimes it takes a while to get a seat, but it is well worth the wait!!!

What a great place! You name it, it's all great. A little noisy, but if want quiet - go when they just open. If you are looking for great seafood, atmosphere, and service, (all at a fantastic price) then this is the place. The floor that got a thumbs down in one of the other reviews has been replaced with slate. Half price oysters 'til 6pm everyday can't be beat. No reservations so during prime time, expect to wait a couple of minutes. Waiting for a table outside gives you a chance to watch other people dig in. Yum.

We found this place accidently and we are so glad we did...it is the only place to get quality seafood. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. The food is soooo good. We go to Myrtle every year and we make sure we hit Bimini's at least 2 or 3 times on our vacation...considering we only go out to eat 2 or 3 times during our stay is saying something...we will be returning soon and look forward to our dinners...don't let some of the negatvive feedback keep you away...the place is fantastic!!!!!

Bimin's was recommended by a local. The noise was really bad, could barely hear the waitress and others in our party. Food selections were not too varied. Was not too hot at table. More of a bar atmosphere than we care for. Live music and surroundings were too loud for us. Bathrooms were REALLY disgusting and smelly.

I ordered a combination plate (not platter as listed on the menu) of fried oysters and Calabash-style shrimp with rice and vegetables. The food was tasty and good, but for the same price ($15.95) you can get twice as much food and better food at Capt. John's or Beck's in Calabash a few miles up the road. The real disappointment was the service. Our group waited one hour and 40 minutes to get our meals and we had to ask for drink refills twice. And the owners automatically charge a 17% gratuity for this type of service! Recommendation: NEVER go to this place on a Friday night with a group of people if you want to be served in a timely manner. For the money and time spent, it sucked. I suspect all the 5-star ratings this place gets are from people too drunk to care or from people who don't know good food and good service.

My freinds & I have been coming to Bimini's since it opened in 1985. We stopped for lunch & $113.00 later realized we found one of the gems of restaurants on the beach. We became freinds with the owner at the time, Rick Duff, & even though we only visited once a year, Rick always made time to visit with us & sit down to chat. Since Rick's untimely passing we have made a point to try to stop in at least once during our annual vacation to the beach. The quality of the food, great service, & warm freindly atmosphere we received from the new owners will keep us coming back every year.

Three seniors on vacation in Myrtle Beach in April decided to give this place a try. I read many good reviews on this sight and in the Trip Advisor forums with a few negative comments about noise and smoke. I'm glad we ignored the negative because neither was an issue. I use restaurant.com to save and there was a voucher for Bimini's-we'd return even if there wasn't a savings. We went on a Thursday evening and arrived at 5:45. The restaurant was packed with golfers, families and couples of all ages. We waited about ten minutes for a table and then were settled in a corner, where we could see everything and everyone. Our waitress was the best we had in Myrtle and we went to a lot of good restaurants. We loved the beach decor and relaxed atmosphere. We ordered steamers that were tender and juicy. My husband chose the fish of the day which had a nice light breading and was in chunks,a huge baked potato and cabbage. My sister and I chose a combo where you could pick two of the many fish choices together. I had the conch fritters and scallops with a seasoned rice and grilled veggies that were excellent. My sister had the fish of the day and shrimp, and what tasted and looked like home-made fries and the veggies. We all agreed that the food was cooked to perfection. My sister and I have both worked in restaurants in New York state and we're critical to a fault, but we found nothing to complain about. We each had two drinks, an appetizer and a very substantial meal (portions are large) for a total of $90.00-minus the voucher for $25.00. The food is well worth the price. There are many fine choices on the menu and we can't wait to return.

I am in sales and I find myself trying very hard to get appointments in the MB area just so I can go to Bimini's. Is that said...Hell no! We love the place. Take the family or go by yourself...Just go! Grouper Bites are awesome, and when they have them the head-on shrimp are CRAZY GOOD! We'll be back in July, hope you all have some then.

I never go to Myrtle Beach without a trip to Bimini's. Southern hospitality at its best. The atmosphere is very casual, the food is fresh and delicious and the service is great. Beware, the oyster shooters can be very addictive.

We are locals and went there a few nights ago with a group of friends. The service was RIDICULOUSLY slow. Went spent approximately 2 1/2 in this "restaurant" and that only included one course of food. It took 15 minutes to get menus, another 20 before we were able to order drinks. Our food took lightyears to come out and we only ordered their standard fried fare. Our waitress kept disappearing for long chunks of time. We were constantly left waiting.

When I asked my friend who chose this restaurant she said she was under the impression that this was the place locals go for seafood. Let me assure you - no local is going to this dive. It's smokey, extraordinarily loud, and only marginally clean. We sat at a picnic table indoors, and after about 90 minutes that got quite uncomfortable. The service was terrible from the very beginning to the end where our waitress fought with us over separating out the bill and automatically adding in a 17% gratuity.

Bimini's also has some outdoor seating, but the view is of a busy highway. I can't imagine that seating area was much better than inside.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton resort 3 weekends ago, (first time in Myrtle Beach) .We asked the bell captian where to get great fried seafod and he told us to go to Bimini's Its the best around .HE WAS RIGHT! we were only in town for 3 days but we ate there the first day for lunch and I had fried grouper and hubby had shrimp and scallps.Everything was out of this world ,so we went back that night for supper, and I got the shrimp and scallops and he did also .The conch fritters were very tasty too! The night before we left we had been out on the beach all day ,then shopped, went to Broadway on the Beach and it was about 12:PM and we were craving Biminis!! But when we got there they had stopped serving food.I swear we were hooked and we would have eaten that late thats how good the food is!!!!! We plan on taking a 2 1/2 hr ride at the end of the month JUST to eat at Biminis!!! Dont bother with all those Calabash Seafood buffets...or the big fancy places that cost an arm and a leg.Biminis has a great freindly staff and a quaint beachy feel to it,and the food is OUTSTANDING!

Bimini's is definately the best seafood restaurant in Myrtle Beach. Great service, great food, great atmoshpere, great everything. It took us no time to get seated and get our food, and that is a plus for me because I am so impatient and hate waiting. Everyone should try Bimini's. You'll love it!

As yearly visitors to Myrtle Beach, I can honestly say that Bimini's is the restaurant I look forward to eating at the most! The atmosphere and the staff are totally fun, but the crab legs are the best I have ever eaten! All the food is awesome, and I often beg my husband to run to Bimini's for an appetizer while we're laying by the pool! After driving by a million times and never stopping in, I now recommend Bimini's to anyone who is going anywhere near Myrtle Beach!!

We own a condo in Arcadian Dunes and must have driven past this place a hundred times without stopping. Why? It's not much to look at from the outside and I guess we assumed it was just another watering hole that also served some food. That all changed the second week of October 2006. We were seated quickly and enjoyed attentive service. We had light, crisp conch strips for an appetizer and had combos consisting of shrimp, scallops, grouper and fried oysters as entrees. You can build your own combo from their list. I believe each platter had 3 types of seafood, but I have lumped them together because I can't remember which 3 my wife had. All were cooked to absolute perfection. The batter was unique in the sense it was light, flavorful and did not seem to retain any of the grease from frying. We had been to Drunken Jack's the night before and both agreed that Bimini's seafood blows them away on quality, quantity and price. Bimini's has just moved to the very top of our "must-visit" list. We will be moving to the Myrtle Beach area next spring/summer and will likely be regulars at this place!

Was not even on the menu, but the bartender had the cook make it for us anyway. It was the best. Will definelty go back to this place.

We're at the beach now. We're lucky enough to be staying about a mile from Bimini's, and I'm so glad we tried this place out. We were seated quickly, but the servers didn't seem to have a separate sections that they worked which was apparently confusing to them. Both nights that we have been there so far this week, we got sat and then waited about 15 minutes before anyone even realized we were just sitting there. BUT, after we finally were recognized, the service was great. The food makes up for any service shortcomings. The first night we went, we ordered the Steam Pot for two. I think my husband and I both wished that we'd ordered our own steam pot, because it was just that good. Two nights later we went back and just ordered crab legs. I rarely order crab legs because most of the time it's annoying and a waste of time, because they are rarely cooked correctly, even at places called "Joe's Crab Shack". These crab legs at Bimini's take two snaps, and the meat just falls out. I've never had such good tasting and good eatin' crabs as these.

We plan on going back on our last night here. I can't wait!

Expect a very laid back atmosphere, plastic chairs, and a good time.

This restaurant was the best. I have been going to Myrtle Beach for 30 years and wish that I had come across this restaurant before now. I had always seen it advertised but was didn't think it would be a place that I would enjoy. Boy, was I wrong. We visited the beach last week and enjoyed Bimini's so much that we eat there 3 times during our stay. The grilled and fried (even though I normally don't eat fried foods) seafood were excellent. I would strongly recommend this to everyone that enjoys great seafood in a relaxing environment.

I've been coming to Myrtle Beach for 15 years now and have not missed hitting Bimini's at least once since I've been down. There seafood is the freshest and best you can get. The best raw and steamed items that I have found in MB. The atmosphere is laid back don't have to be dressed up and the price is right. Around 5-6 half price oyster, well worth the trip.

We tried this place because my 11 year old wanted crablegs and the rest of the family didn't want to go to a buffet because we never get out money's worth there. With three kids, being charged adult buffet price, it is just not an option. So Bimini's has a 1lb steamed crab legs bucket with hushpuppies and great slaw (homemade) for $20. The other kids got a calabash shrimp basket ($7) and chicken fingers basket. They also have combo seafood platters (fried or broiled) and steamed oysters, clams, etc. The best thing though is that EVERYTHING was the FRESHEST I have ever had. I had fried scallops, they were so tender they melted in your mouth. The fried grouper was absolutely the best! The kids played the arcade games in the back of the restaurant while we waited for food. The atmosphere was very relaxed, it is a bar but that did not bother us. We were seated immediately upon arrival, we went about 8:00 pm. The down side, if there could be one, was that there were no baked potatos served with your meal, it wasn't an option. There is also a coupon in the Monster Book for 15% off your entire bill. We will definately be back to Bimini's! It is the day after and I am still having thoughts of going there tonight.
