We were seated immediately, in a quiet, classy atmosphere. The special was prime rib for $12.95, it was fork tender, melt in your mouth. I had the Chicken Marsala, it was very good, large portions. They had a kids menu, which made dining very enjoyable for everyone. Our waiter was very friendly, we enjoyed him very much. I highly recommend giving Barron's a try!

The steak I had (12 oz filet mignon) had no flavor at all. It was a tastless piece of meat. Semi tender and grainy. My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna that was sent back due to a fishy smell and taste. We will not be going back.

What can I say about Barons other than the food is that of a 5 star restaurant. The wife and I were on vacation and we got in on saturday evening. We drove 12 hours straight through and were starved. We hadn't heard of this place but it was close and looked like a nice place to eat. We got there about 8 were seated right away and were waited on rather quickly. We were told the specials and that is what we got. The 22 oz. Porter house was so tender you could cut it with a fork, and the wife's swordfish steak was so good i was trying to trade her out of it. But no way was she giving it up. We went back again the following friday to eat again before heading home the next day. I had been told of some encrusted steak that was there signature steak but was a little hesitant with it since it consisted of ground chocolate and coffee beans with some garlic. I thought know way this sounded good. But I was assured it was and I did get it. Man was I glad I did. The wife had the swordfish again and yes I tried to share some of it, but yet to no avail. I guess I will have to get it myself next time. the second time we ate there we found out that the waiter we had the first time was actually the owner. And it's nice to see someone care enough about there business to actually get in there and help out and not just set back and collect. If you get the chance while your in Myrtle Beach Please treat yourself and family to an awesome dining experience. If you like cheap, then go to McDonalds, if you like getting what you pay for. then Barons is the place.

A smaller place in the same shopping center as Rossi's - but quite possibly the best steaks in the Restaurant Row area of Myrtle Beach.

Just what I needed. Been running kitchens for 20 years, including a prime steak house. Me and my wife and 2 kids went for dinner on a friday night. Seated immediately, server was very knowledgeable and not over showy about specials. Service was prompt, wine paired well. The food was excellent, app, salad, entree, wine, dessert, Irish coffee to finish off. The Fenway specialty that my wife orders was perfect. My NY strip also perfect. Steaks cook perfectly, not over or under seasoned. Atmosphere was personal and not a lot of room for it to be too crowded. Loved it all around. You get more than you pay for. Thank you to all the front of house and great job kitchen. Thank you all again.

The wife and I have been coming to Myrtle Beach every October for the last 10 years with plans on trying this place each year. We finally got around to it last fall and boy are we glad we did. This place has the best steaks on the Grand Strand, and we have dined at restaurants from Georgetown to Wilmington. We ate here 3 times during our stay. I encourage all steak lovers to give it try .. I don't think you will be disapointed.

Wow... My wife and I are locals, and are very picky about where we dine here in town - this place is a little tough to find, but once you do, you will not be disappointed. The staff here is wonderful - attentive without being intrusive - and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, just perfect for a dinner for two, or a night out with friends. They have a well stocked bar, and two accommodating dining rooms. The food here is exemplary, and the prices are good. The steak encrusted with godiva chocolate and esspresso beans is out of this world, and my wife loves the steak done with their own horseradish sauce...if you are searching for the best place in town for a steak, barons should be in your top 3 choices..

Best steak ever! However, we waited for over an hour for our dinner to be served. The restaurant is normally closed on Sunday but was open for a small party in the banquet room. Our server was working both rooms. He was very personable, but would be gone for long periods of time in the other room. After being seated for a half hour another family of five were seated next to us. They had a different server and although it took along time for their dinner to arrive it was served before ours. The manager stopped by the other family's table and offered them free dessert for their inconvenience. We were not offered complimentary dessert. One dessert was ordered and charged. Our server did acknowledge the long wait twice, and said our food was almost ready. We used a $25.00 coupon that I had purchased online, which does apply an automatic 18% gratuity. I feel the server did earn his tip. The management could have done a better job supporting both us and his staff. He stopped by the table once to inquire if our food was good but made no mention of the delay we experienced. Still a great steak cooked to perfection.

We have eaten here several times...always had a wonderful meal and very attentive service. The Sinatra track playing in the background was a nice relaxing touch...The 1/2 price desserts on Wednesdays are not to be missed...huge dish of bananas foster, very light and creamy creme brulee. We will most definitely return

Great for dinner...go somewhere else for lunch. I had a ceasar salad with 5 shrimp...the shrimp were over-cooked, the iced-tea was old and my bill was $16. That's it...a salad with shrimp and old iced-tea for $16.

Ran across this restaurant by accident. My wife and 2 kids (4 yo and 2 yo) were immediately seated and greated very enthusiastically by the hostess. Very nice interior and seating. My ribeye was cooked very nicely and the scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The hollandaise sauce was not quite as good as it could have been. The long island iced tea was one of the better ones I have had. Desserts were slightly overpriced but otherwise very good experience.
