I ate there on nov 4th. Not disappointed in the least. Had the 10 oz strip. Excellent. One of the best steaks I ever had. With that you get all the salad and bread sticks and your choice of side. I got the bowl of spaghetti as my side. You get that for $21.00. Not a bad value. Ill go back again..

I just returned from my annual golf trip in october to Myrtle beach. One of my friends on the trip suggested Angelos. This was the best steak i have ever eaten. Like the sign outside said best steak in the universe. Great staff also. my friends got the24 ounce ribeye andlove every bite. The garlic rolls are also very good. We will return next year with a lot more people from our group. Salad not bad either. Short wait also.

We had an early dinner at Angelo's one rainy day during our vacation. The early bird price for the buffet can't be beat. The salad and garlic bread were awesome, and the buffet is excellent for the price. It's not the best Italian food I've ever had, but it's great quality and you'll definitely get your fill. I love that the buffet line has a server behind a window so you don't get a bunch of people breathing on and touching your food like you do with a typical "buffet." It's a small buffet, only about 8 - 10 items, but when you're talking about things like pasta and meatballs that's enough to fill you up plenty. The Italian green beans were really good, and tortellini was my favorite item. I didn't try the pizza because it looked almost like frozen pizza you cook at home, but I would imagine for kids it's an amazing value because it's all you can eat. Overall I'd say we'll probably go back to Angelo's, but I think next time I'll have to skip the buffet, spend a little more and try one of the amazing sounding entrees or one of those steaks that get such rave reviews.

We visit this place at least twice every year we come to Myrtle. Every time has been an exceptional experience. I do not eat steak but my father does at least 4 times a week and he says it's the best filet he has ever had. I love the lasagna and everything else on the bar. If you don't try it at least once, you are definitely missing out on a great meal!

Being originally from New York, I appreciate really good Italian food. Saw the ad for Angelos's in the paper and they had a buffet, so I had to give it a try. What a place. The buffet was excellent and the food was hot and just as I remembered as a kid, REAL ITALIAN. We are heading back to Myrtle Beach again this October, and Angelo's will be one of our stops at LEAST twice. A MUST for anyone eating in Myrtle Beach and a MUST for anyone who loves Italian food. The service was excellent and what a pleasure, thank you all.

We visited Angelo's for the first time ever...and it won't be our last. I ordered the NY strip. It was the most amazing steak I've ever eaten. The steak seems like it melts in your mouth. When we first drove up, I saw the sign that said "best steaks in the universe" well... I must agree. (and I eat steak often) Although they advertised a magician, I didn't see him. I would have eaten there the next day but we were headed back home. See you next year Angelo's. We will be there more than once the next time!!!!

My daughter, her two kids and a friend of mine just spent last week in MB. We had tried to get into Angelo's our first night there but it was so crowded we couldn't. However, the next night we went back early and got right in. Our server was great and the food was wonderful. I had the buffett and the tortellino with alfredo sauce was the best I have ever had. Others ordered from the menu and their's was also great. We saw a 24 ounce steak that one of the people next to us ordered and it looked awesome. I would definitely go back.

Hubby & I ate here the week of 7/20/09. Good food at a good price, but not that much of a variety on the buffet. Supposedly, they have awesome steak, but we opted for the italian buffet, so I can't say how it tasted, but I can say the steak smelled awesome as it was being brought out to other tables. We give it a thumbs up.

I have visited MB many times over the years but had never tried Angelo's. After reading many favorable reviews, it was a must try this year. One word would describe my dinner there, DISAPPOINTING! I ordered New York strip and got ribeye. If this is the best steak in MB, then I guess I'll have to stick to seafood. The greenbeans were like rubber. For a steak experience we knew we could trust, we went to Carolina Roadhouse the next night. Now there's a first class steak!

My wife, my parents and I visited in the first week of February 2009 based on recent reviews. We had eaten here back in the 1990's, also, but hadn't been to this restaurant recently. I had the buffet, but the others ordered off of the menu. I always remembered the beautiful decor inside and great service. During this visit, the atmosphere and service was first class. Unfortunately, the food was very average and not as good as other area restaurants of equal value and cost. Our server was there for us constantly, although it admittedly wasn't busy while we were there. Ultimately, we had no complaints, but would not be as enthusiastic about the food quality as we read in other reviews.

I was the only person in our group of four to order the buffet, which I had looked at before ordering. The price was average as was the buffet food. The other three in our group ordered from the menu and, again, the food and price were average. The service and restaurant atmosphere continues to be very nice as we've been here in the past. But don't confuse some of the reviews listed on this site to indicate that this is a "fine dining" restaurant. There is nothing objectionable or "bad" about angelo's. It's a nice place to go for a quiet, casual and respectable dining experience at a reasonable price. If you're looking for a good value for good italian food, this is the place..

Rest in peace, our friend steve. It will take 3 to replace you. Folks, you will find the best 10 oz. Rib eye at angelo's. Order it 1 temp. Under your normal since it continues to sizzle on your hot platter. Marbling is outstanding. Marsala sauce is tasty too. Next to new york prime (which is comparing apples to oranges) angelo's rates #1 in value. Hope to see a new dish in honor of angelo's partner of many years, steve. Cherish every day we live. We never know when it will be our time to leave. Am still in shock..

We've been visiting the Myrtle Beach area since 1990 and had eaten at Angelo's in those first few years. We enjoyed the buffet at that time, but had looked for other options since then. Recently, I had read reviews on this site which raved about Angelo's and decided to come back for a good Italian buffet. Four of us were there in early February. The other three ordered the Chicken Parm, while I ordered the buffet after first taking a look at it. The Chicken Parm the other three ordered was on the thin and dry side, but mostly okay. I was a bit disappointed by the buffet in that most of it tasted and looked as if it was purchased at Sam's Club and warmed up. Again, it was okay, but far from the rave reviews I had read and was expecting. The bottom line, in my opinion, is that the food is average and a decent value for the price, but the wait staff was absolutely excellent. Our waiter was constantly there for us and on the ball. Just don't expect the quality of food of a "fine dining" experience.

My hubby has been going to Angelo's we estimate 26 years and has tried almost everything on the menu and says everything is tasty and good. I have been going for at least 19 years and love the New York Strip as well as the chicken Parmesan. The staff always treat us like family especially Paul and Steve. Angelo takes the time to talk to everyone which is a nice touch. We are snowbirds from Ontario Canada and try to go to Angelo's at least once a week while we are down here (using their buy one get one free coupon). We always tell people when they come to Myrtle Beach they MUST visit Angelo's for the best steak in town and if they prefer pasta it's the best too!

We took advantage of the rib eye steak early bird special. Quite possibly the tenderest steak I'd ever had. The side of green beans were fresh, not frozen or canned. The salad came in a large bowl with a generous amount of iceberg lettuce that we could serve ouselves. My wife had linguini with meat sauce. Certainly more than she could eat. While the sauce wasn't as good as hers, it was definitely better when compared to other restaurants. The service was impeccable. Bryan took great care of us. Based on the other reviews, we stayed away from the buffet and went with what we felt most comfortable with. For only a $1.50 I had a cup of spumoni for dessert. A great way to top off an enjoyable dinner. 5 star rating for sure.

We were traveling around trying to find someplace to eat. We had seen the advertisements for Angelo's and wasn't sure as we can get Italian food at home but also didn't want to waste money in one of the overpriced places along there, it happened we were staying near Angelo's and figured what the heck. Well we were not disappointed, as a matter of fact we were quite surprised that a place this good was there, we are so used to the tourist traps joints. I went for the early bird special, which was brought to my attention by the waitress, of chicken parm and wanted to try the buffet. Now the buffet isn't extensive but what is there is really good. The Italian sausage actually tasted like sausage. Do not laugh, down here most sausage has no taste to it. My wife had the the sausage and peppers and onion on pasta, she ate at that thing the entire time I had the buffet and chicken and when she got done, it looked as if she hadn't even started it yet. Wait till you try the fantastic garlic bread they bring out to your table, it is almost like garlic knots we used to get up in NY, they have real garlic on them, not just just a sprinkle of garlic power. We are now adding Angelo's to our annual beach trip dining place.

We were traveling on business and read the reviews. This is why we chose Angelo's. It was better than our best expectations. We even asked to be introduced to the famous, "Dink" . He was easy on the eyes, ladies! Our waiter was "Ryan" and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and also....easy on the eyes! He definately recommended the steaks which my collegues had and I chose the buffett. The buffet was an excellent mix of authentic italian favorites. My collegues felt the steaks could have been a better quality. They are the "beef masters". I highly recommend this to any traveler wanting a good meal!

I am usually very critical when I do reviews of restaurants. But we first went to Angelo's on the advice of a friend. Saw their plane banners flying. Family of 4 all ate the buffet and loved it!!! Had been going there atleast once on every trip to Myrtle Beach. A.nother friend told me that the locals said they had the best steaks so I tried the ribeye on a sizzling platter with the bleu cheese butter . Best steeak ever!!! Have been atleast 20 + times and it has been awesome. We have taken friends and relatives there and they all want to go back. Have a friend that calls me everytime he's there eating just to make me jealous. Not only the food, but the atmosphere and waitstaff is great. Finally, if you go read the menu about how it started. A true success story.

Wow, I am so surprised at all of the perfect reviews from people, because I guess I am the only one who thought that the steak was just okay, and the chicken francaise was terribly bland. The salad was good, and for the servers first night on the floor, she was decent. But the steak didn't taste as good as the steakhouse down the road, so definitely not the best in the universe.

My Husband and I went to Myrtle Beach for our honeymoon 2 summers ago. We were very hungry after the flights and check in and a little sight seeing. I knew I wanted steak (my favorite!) We drove around and saw Angelo's. We were seated right away and received the salad and bread very fast. Both are wonderful to snack on while waiting on your food. It never takes long to get your entrees. The steak was AMAZING!!!! the bleu cheese butter is fantastic and the seasoning on the steaks are wonderful. I can honestly say, this place has the best steaks. The staff was friendly and always wanting to make sure your experience was great. We had such a great time in MB that we went back this past summer and already had Angelo's planned as our first dinner there. It was as good as ever and our waitress was humorous which was nice since we had hotel problems. We are going back to MB this coming summer and will DEFINATELY be going here for our first dinner as always. We are thinking we might even go there more than once this trip too. I can not comment on the buffet as I haven't had it before, but the steaks are ONE OF A KIND!!!

As a local, have been here several times. STEAK!! Absolutely. Maybe the best steak in Myrtle Beach. The pasta, forgettable. The Buffet, no way. There are a number of other restaurants in the area who have far superior buffet options. Just go here for the steak and you will leave more than happy. As far as service, it is an average restaurant. My husband and I usually opt for a place at the bar. Service there is quicker and the menu is exactly the same. The more in your party, the longer you will wait to be seated. It is very busy on weekends during peak season (I"d wait for one of their steaks too!). Wouldn't bother with kids. While the prices are more than fair, very few options for little ones and far too busy and crowded at peak times for children. Want a great steak, Angelo's is your best option.

After reading the reviews on this site we decided to give this restaurant a try. We were NOT the least bit dissapointed. The steaks were great!!!The guests in our party that ordered the pasta were not blown away however. The service was great.. we went around 8 oclock so it was pretty quiet. They served us garlic rolls and salad in the beginning which was great. The service was a bit rushed though. Overall a great dining experience worth trying again!

The place is really nice, great Italian atmosphere but we all really wished we had ordered the steaks we had heard so much about. Instead we had the buffet and yes there were just a few items but to me none of it was good. It just wasn't what I expected and items that had breading included in the meat had way too much breading for my taste. I like to taste the meat. The best was listening to Dean Martin music while dining. I would return for the atmosphere of a nice restaurant but would definitely order the steaks.

The first year we asked the people at sea mist were to go for a good steak dinner and they told us Angelo's well they were right there steaks are the best. We are treated great when we go there everybody is great. Steve is always checking in with us to make sure everthing is alright. Looking forward to Novmber 4th when we will be getting there to golf that first day and then go straight to Angelo's for a steak dinner afterwards and going there at least two more times out of seven days.

My husband and I eat @ Angelo's every time we go to MB. It is the highlight of my husband's trip and its all he can talk about when we get home. He orders thier largest steak and savors every bite. I order a smaller on but it's is just as great. We never have to wait long to be seated and always feel welcome due to the wonderful staff. I would tell everyone in MB to give it a try. I have never tried the buffet but with steaks like those, who would?

I'm 35 years old and definitely the steak eater in the family. It's my favorite food. We have been aware of Angelo's for several years, but never stopped. I've been aware of this Web site for just over two years, and honestly, we basically tried Angelo's because of the reviews here.

So I take the wife and kids here a couple of nights ago while we're here for our summer vacation. I was shocked. I ordered the 24-oz Ribeye. It came sizzling, and was by far and away the best Ribeye I think I have ever eaten. My wife said, "How was it?" I responded, "Great. We're coming back. We'll make this a yearly stop during our summer vacation."

Got the rest of the family (grandparents/brother and his wife) coming down to the condo tomorrow. Taking them to Angelo's.

Service was great, waitress was friendly, prices reasonable, and we were seated within 10 minutes despite arriving at 7:30, peak time, and while there was an anticipated wait.

This place should be tabbed as a steak house in my opinion. A lot of prospective customers probably pass it by thinking it's just another Italian joint. It's not.

My husband and I eat at Angelo's Steak and Pasta everytime we go to Myrtle Beach. It's our favorite place to eat. The buffet is small, but the food is very good!! I can't rate the steaks because neither of us are steak eaters. We prefer the pasta. The only small thing I don't like is they do not ask you what kind of salad dressing you want on your salad. It is brought to your table with a dressing already poured onto it. I thought the atmosphere was very nice. It is an older building, but very charming and clean inside. I would recommend Angelo's to any pasta lover going to Myrtle Beach.

Just got back from one of the best meals we have had during our vacation at MB. We had a party of 10 and were told a 45 minute wait, that ended up being only about 5 min. 3 of us ordered steaks (ribeyes) and the rest the buffet. Not a bad thing to mention. The salad was good, the garlic rolls are out of this world. Oh and the steaks are WONDERFUL!! Very seasoned and cooked to perfection. The garlic mashed potatoes had just the right amount of garlic. Would recommend this place to EVERYONE. The tortellini alfredo was delicious as with everything else on the buffet. People who complained about not enough selection, I question just how much pasta would make them happy. There was more than enough to choose from!!

I had my first meal at Angelo's recently, and the steaks live up to the hype. I had the New York strip served on a sizzling platter and it was fantastic-cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. If you order a steak, make sure you get one served on a sizzling pan and pay the extra 1.95 for the side of garlic butter (it's enough for two steaks). The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious, as was the salad.

The draft beer is fairly cheap-a pint of Yeungling costs 3.00. The service was mediocre. Not bad, but nothing special. Once our food was served, we didn't see her again for a while. Still, an extremely enjoyable meal.

I've been vacationing in Myrtle Beach for almost 20 years. I eat at Angelo's every year. The steak is great and by far my favorite dish is "chicken marsala". The buffet is avaiable for people who don't want to spend alot of money to get their bellies filled. The specialty dishes are really what you have to go for. The Alfredo sauce is incredible, as well is the Francese sauce is good too. To finish your meal you have to have a piece of Tarimasu for dessert. Ask for "Franco" for your server and he will take great care of you.

Someone recommended Angelo's to us a few years ago and we have eaten there many times since. We usually spend a week at a time in Myrtle Beach, and often eat at Angelo's TWICE in one week, once for buffet, once for steak. Since most of our visits are in the off season (not summer) we don't have to wait long for a table, and the servers give us plenty of attention. "Dink" is our favorite server. The buffet isn't huge, but we'd rather have a smaller selection of really good food, than a huge selection of mediocre food. It's genuine, delicious western-Pennsylvania/eastern-Ohio Italian food!

We've lived in Myrtle Beach well over 25 years and after reading the great reviews we decided to give them a try tonight,I'm glad we did. While the buffet was enticing we wanted to start with the steak ans we were both pleased that we did. The steaks were cooked just as we asked, these were some of the best tasting steaks either of us have ever eaten. This is the first time we enjoyed steaks where it wasn't a requirement to have A1 sauce,as it was cooked in a well season. It is important to note however that the amount of season is up to you,if you'd like for it to be light then so be it.Also the green beans were terrific, the pasta was average, but far from being bad.Dinner came with a house salad that was cold and crispy, which had lettuce, onions, carrots, cucumbers, olives with a house dressing that was unique. We also enjoyed their dinner rolls in which the waitress server was more than pleased to refurnish our plates with,we had a couple of sodas that were refreshing and NOT water down at all.two complete adult steak meals for around $37.00 (being locals we got a 10% discount, our waitress was polite, and came around at a wanted frequency, not to little, and not to often. Also wanted to note that dinner took only about an hour from the time we sat down until our bill was received. With such great service we left a $50.00 (and the bill even shows the various tip percentage amounts for those who aren't sure on what to leave). Will visit them again, and if you eat their frequently you get you're birthday dinner for free. What is there not to like about Angelo's ?

After reading the great reviews of this restaurant we were excited to try it but somewhat disappointed after dining here. We arrived in time for the early bird dinners 4-6pm. We were seated promptly by the unsmiling hostess. We received salad and bread. The salad dressing was way too strong very vinegary. The bread was good. My husband got the Italian buffet. The buffet was way too small. The only thing that was good on it was the sausage and the lasagna was just ok. Everything else was over-cooked and just average. I ordered the 8oz. ribeye 13.95 which I felt was still a bit pricey for earlybird prices. I was disappointed that it didn't come out on a sizzling platter. The steak was too salty/seasoned and reminded me of the quality of a bonanza or ponderosa chain. A very thin piece of meat. The baked potato and green beans that accompanied were very good though. The bigger more expensive steaks came out on a sizzling platter and looked good. The cannoli filling was good but the little chocolate pieces in it tasted like wax. Service was average could have been better. Don't think we will be returning here. Too many negatives.

Service was great, Atmosphere was great and the prices were not unreasonable. We walked in off of the street and they seated us right away even though they were very busy. When reading these reviews, it's always best to understand that from time to time people will have bad experiences and that is most certainly what they will write about. I tend to pay attention to the reviews from people who have been to the restaurant many, many times and can give an overall impression through their many visits. I've been coming to Angelo's with my family for around 10 years, and we love the quality of the buffett and the wondeful steaks (which, by the way, are actually some of the best in the country). The buffett has just the right amount of items to choose from and is not overwhelming, and the quality year after year remains the same. The wait staff is always fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. (they usually have Dean Martin playing in the background which is perfect italian food music) Please consider Angelo's when visiting Myrtle Beach. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Its not a fancy place but I liked the combination of steak and italian food. The spaghetti was rather good and the steaks were delicious. I tend to be fussy when it comes to restaurants but I would go back!

We were 4 hungry folks when we pulled into the parking lot of angelo's for dinner. We were promptly seated and our waiter came to our table immediately to take our drink order and serve us garlic bread and salad. Two ordered the early bird buffet, one ordered the 16 oz rib eye steak and I ordered the early bird 8 oz rib eye. The bread was hot and buttery with plentiful chunks of garlic and the salad (a mix of romaine and other greens) was served with chilled plates (a nice touch) in a creamy tangy italian dressing. The buffet was filled with pasta in all shapes and sizes. They enjoyed lasagna, stuffed shells, tortellini, chicken cacciatore, pizza, pasta with sauce (marinara, meat, alfredo), and much more. The steaks came out fast and were cooked to a perfect medium rare. With the early bird special I received the large steak, italian green beans and my choice of potato or pasta. I had the pasta with meat sauce. The portions were generous and we left with a box for my side of pasta (a large bowl full). The total damage for my husband and I (1 buffet 1 early bird steak 2 drinks) including tip $32.30. A great value for myrtle beach..

This place was just ok for me. We ordered the italian buffet, there wasn't a whole lot to choose from but what they had was pretty good I guess. The lasagna had way too much ricotta cheese in it. We didn't have to wait very long to be seated, and the staff was friendly. We should have ordered the steak they looked really good and smelled great. Well maybe next time. We felt you can only eat so much lasagna and spaghetti before you get kind of sick of it..

Angelo's is a great place to eat. I enjoyed a meal there once more very recently on a trip to Myrtle Beach and found that everything is just as it was when I was last there----TERRIFIC!

I read through these reviews and was suprised to see that somebody thought "Steve" owns Angelo's. He doesn't. The owner is Angelo himself!

As a side note I attended a wedding reception catered by Angelo's while I was on my trip and it could not have been nicer.

THis is one of our favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach. We are from Connecticut and visit MB quite often. We always go to Angelo's . Most of the time we sit in the bar and eat there so we can talk with the bartender. She is a Red Sox fan, and we, being from Connecticut, are also fans. She is a real pleasure to talk to. And then there are the steaks, best that we have had in MB. Also the Italian food is great. It is just a very comfortable place to go and eat. We love it.

Wow! What a great steak! We got the 14 oz. ribeye and it came out on a sizzling platter that stayed warm. My last bite was also warm! The salad is excellent... the wait staff is fantastic. Sherry in the bar is a delight and a very helpful bartender. Dink is one of our favorite's there...also Carlie! Ask for either of them when you get to Angelo's.

We were in Myrtle Beach in July 2007. We ate at Angelo's twice. The first time we went because one of our neighbor's sons works there as a bartender on Wed. and Sundays and asked us to stop in there to say hello to his son for him - the steak we had there was the absolute best we've ever had there in our life. When we went the second time, we tried to eat cheaper so we ordered the Biggest steak they had and share it but it was so much and so big that we had to send it back twice to be cooked more in the center which made it a tougher steak and not as good. It was still a really good steak but the first was the absolute BEST we've ever had in our lives. I'd definitley go again but I would order my own instead of trying to be cheap and share a big one. >^..^<

We have made Angelo's one of our favorite places to dine in Myrtle Beach. My husband swears that the steak is the "best on the planet". Our kids and I love the delicious salad and little bread loaves and the pasta buffet. The atmosphere is so nice and the cost is very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We never miss a meal at Angelo's while in Myrtle Beach and since everyone from Ohio goes to Myrtle Beach, we usually see someone we know enjoying their evening as much as we are.

I Italian and I must say, it's difficult finding Italian food that stacks up to my mother's cooking. Angelo's didn't measure up to her lofty expectations or mine. However, for fine Italian dining - I would choose an evening at Angelo's if my mom didn't feel like cooking. It was enjoyable and delicious. All in our party enjoyed the dining experience and would recommend it to anyone who visits Myrtle Beach.

We live in MB. This is one of the best values here. The food is consistently good. The steak awesome. I don't care that much for the buffet, but seems a favorite with the golfers. The staff is very well trained, if not see the ower, who is usually present making sure everything runs well. The never empty salad bowl is excellent. Only complaint would be that there is almost always a waiting line, but then that is true of any good resturant here. Caution about dining out in MB-- if there is not a waiting line, something is wrong.

We went early enough for the early bird special and didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes. We also got $1 off the buffet. The food was good and the service was excellent. It is a friendly atmosphere that I would recommend to any family. This will be a stop we make again next year on our trip.

I was not impressed with this restaurant. I got the buffet, which included only a few choices. Also, is not a typical buffet--you get in line, sort of like at a fast food restaurant, you are corralled into line, then you and wait for one person to serve you. You can't get your own food. They give you small portions, and the pasta is very average with bland sauce. Moreover, they ran out of pasta and pizza on the buffet. The two times I went to the buffet I had to wait five minutes before they had any pasta or pizza. The pizza was not bad though. I went to Angelos based on all the positive reviews on this website, but I won't be going back.

This is a wonderful restaurant if you want good quality STEAKS. You can even order a very large steak and have it split for a minor charge. My family and I go to Angelos every chance that we get and have been for years now, we love it. The service is good, the food spectacular, and it's a great place to take out of towners. Over all I give it a 10.

We have lived in Myrtle Beach for almost 16 years. We take out out of town guests to Angelo's everytime. Now when they return, they take us to Angelo's. It is the absolute best place to get a great steak. The buffet is also very good, but you really need to get the NY strip steak.

It's where we go to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary. The grandchildren ask to go to Angelo's to eat so you know it has to be good to beat out McDonalds!

Melissa was our server in April both times and we'll request her every time.. She was such a nice person, pleasant, efficient and a great smile...

Thanks for everything!

Great food for the price. The buffet is what we always get. Keep in mind that the you do not serve yourself at the buffet; you tell the staff what you want and they put it on your plate. This has never been a problem for me, though. You can go back as many times as you want. We almost always go to Angelo's when we're in Myrtle Beach. Highly recommended.

The Greatest Steaks in the Universe! That's their slogan and they are telling the truth. Our steak arrived on a sizzling hot skillet cooked to perfection and stayed hot the entire time. The side of fettuccine alfredo was delicious. My wife had the buffet and had a generous sampling of many Italian favorites. I had to sneak a couple of bites. We were greated and seated in a timely manner and as soon as we got to our table, our waiter brought us a basket of warm garlic rolls and a house salad. The dressing was delicious and quite a treat to not have to wait. The restaurant was very busy at the time but not any particular noise level. Just typical restaurant. They have a tableside magician, Michael Bairefoot, who strolls table to table and is fantastically funny. Other than the loud laughter at his jokes the atmosphere was very pleasant. The decor is soft and homey and it is impeccably clean. The service was very friendly and they treated families with small children very well. Prices are competitive and I feel our meal was well worth it. I will definitely return in the near future for another of their famous steaks!!!

We have gone to Angelos since our first trip to Myrtle beach in 1992. I was so excited when I saw the "Stubenville South" sign. I lived in Stubenville during the early 60's and remember the Italian dishes as the best of my life. I feel like I rediscovered my youth when I enter the door. The steaks are the best in the country..We have had them everywhere. All you need is the steak, salad, bread and a glass of dry red wine and you will have the sweet glow of vacation nirvana!
