On April 5th 2007 our family of 4 adults arrived for dinner around 4:45 p.m. We were seated right away. We ordered drinks, which were served promptly, along with hot bread. It took at least 35 minutes for our food to arrive. My shrimp fresca tasted fine at first, but the more I ate, the more the shrimp tasted like they had freezer burn. My husband's ribeye was just fair, it was fatty and wasn't served with the onions and sauce described on the menu but came with broccoli instead. My son said his stuffed shrimp also tasted like they had freezer burn. Not knowing what would happen if we sent our food back, we just ate what we could stomach and left. Overall, this experience was enough to keep us from returning to this particular restaurant.

Went there over thanksgiving vacation. Decided to eat there because it was close to Palace Theater. Food was good. Menu is a little expensive. I had crab cakes, very reasonable and wife had fish and chips. A lot of food for the price. Very attractive interior. Service was good. Coffee after dinner was expensive and not that great. Over all, a good experience.

I had the seafood platter. It looked like the oysters had been cut into 5 pieces and fried. You could not taste the so called oyster through all of the corn meal. 2 fish sticks and 3 oysters. You are better off going to Captain D's, A salad did not come with the steak - It was 20.95 for a thin steak, one scoop of mashed potatoes and frozen broccoli. Pitiful meal. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We just ate here on Wednesday which is Kids Eat Free day. We were seated immediately when we got there. I ordered a sampler platter that included stuffed crab, beer-battered fish, fried shrimp, a crab cake, fries, and cole slaw. It was $20 and very good. My husband ordered the Flounder Florentine which was delicious. He had steamed broccoli with it which he said wasn't very tasty. I think it was also $20. Our 2 year old had grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. He loved the chicken and ate some of the broccoli. He doesn't eat mashed potatoes, so my husband ate them and said they were really good. Since it was Wednesday, his was free. We sat out on the deck and the server brought out some crackers for our son to feed the ducks and fish. He LOVED that. It was the perfect night for eating outside. Toward the end of the meal it was getting dark and the lighting out on the deck wasn't all that great, so it was a little hard to see what I was eating. Our server was a little slow on refilling my tea, but I was thirsty so he did have to refill it about 5 times. He was able to answer our questions about the menu and the strange fish in the pond.

Would have been nice to tell our party of 7 that gratuities were included. After we split the check, and left, we realized our average service garnered a 42% tip! The service wasn't that good!!!!

We ate there a few days ago, and we were rather disappointed with the service, the food, the atmosphere, and the value. We had reservations for 7:30 and were seated immediately. I noticed at least 15 empty tables and a very long line at the door. I had the "salad and seafood buffet" for almost $30. It was horrendous. I cannot believe a seafood restaurant would serve something like this. Bland cold steamed shrimp, crawfish and oysters (which I do not like) and Alaskan Crablegs that were watery and cold. I like them steamed and warm. My wife had stuffed shrimp which was average at best. I did like the crab spring rolls. Check one of the local coupon books for a free appetizer of crab dip. That was the best part of the meal. I would not go back to this restaurant. I was in one in Miami that was quite good.

The she-crab soup and bread were very good. But we should have stopped there. We both ordered the tilapia grilled. Mine was burnt. Both had no flavor to speak of. My broccoli was mostly yellow instead of green...definitely not fresh and tasted terrible. We won't go back to any location.

The reviews below are true. We ate there in August and it was really bad.

We were seated right away because we went for lunch and the place was empty. Our server was excellent maybe because we were his only table.

The music was so loud it woke our child who normally sleeps through anything.

The food was HORRIBLE, not even close to being average.

The total was just over $50 bucks for two and NO alcoholic beverages. Just two soups, two entrees and one sprite. Will not visit again!

The food was not at all worth the price we paid!! Beware of this place, I dont know how it's staying in business. Waitress was too busy flirting with men at the next table and making plans for after work to wait on us at all. We were not given refills and when we asked for a box, she had an attitude like we were disturbing her courtship!! I nor my friends will EVER return!!

We were very excited to go to the Crab House and was quickly disappointed. Wait time even with call ahead seating. Went in after 30 minutes to many empty tables. Shouldn't have been a wait time. Expensive menu. $13.95 for salad bar ... not included with meals. Waitress didn't smile once. Sprite refills filled with water. Manager was as bad as the waitress. 18% gratuity automatically added onto ticket with 3 people. Aweful experience for such a so-called classy restaurant. I Do Not Recommend! Spend your money where you're appreciated.
