I would not recomend this place to anyone. It was absolutely horrible. I did not think you could mess up a hamburger and hot dogs but they did. The service oh my goodness, if you asked for anything they acted like you were putting them out. Two hamburgers and 2 waters (nothing else) $16.00. That is uncalled for. No where even close to worth it or good. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS IT IS VERY NASTY ALSO. Please note that SC health department is starting to only check restaurants once a year and you do not want to end up sick on your vacation and this is a place that it could very well happen at. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID at all cost For the safety of your health and wallet!!!!!!!!

This is the best place ever to eat a burger! My boyfriend took me there for the first time last year and we turned down other places to eat for Peaches!! it is WONDERFUL! we went every night we were there and we were there 3 nights and we also ate there for lunch. I am ready to go back and eat there again. There is no where that can compare to their burgers!!

I was stationed in Myrtle Beach with the AirForce in 1969. April '08 my wife and I were visiting friends/family in ga. I figured we're close I'd like to see Myrtle Beach again. Some of the old town left, many new hotels lots of growth, but no air base, oh well. But to my surprise there was Peaches just like I left it 39 years ago. My old favorite beer/burger joint still the best and most friendly place on the beach. Thanks for the memory.

You know what bothers me........when people write these reviews saying the service was bad and the place was too noisy. Well, go somewhere else then. Peaches is a great place, with great food, awesome atmosphere, with or without the noise. When your 80 year old grandmother flies in from Alabama or where ever, take her somewhere peaceful like Old Country Buffett, not a place where all you do is complain about things you had a total choice about. We have been going to Peaches for 3 years while on vacation and we LOVE it. Getting an ice cold Bud and a burger is just the hangover solution. Keep up the great work!!! - A loyal Peaches customer (with no complaints)

On Fri.10-19-07, me my wife and daughter stopped in Peaches to eat. We ordered a bbq.,hamburger,ft.long, all with fries. We have eaten here many times & have always liked it ,but on this day we didn't. Both of the servers NEVER WASHED THERE HANDS before, during or after prepareing our food !!! While our food cooked, one server worked on there radio, the other smoked a cigarette and talked on his cell. When our food was ready, they prepared it and served it again,NEVER WASHING THERE HANDS !!! Although the servers were friendly, we wont be eating there again !!!

Me my wife and daughter ate there Friday night 10-19-07 and for the first time I was disappointed! Living in Va., we go to M.B. many times per year and we always eat at Peaches at least once per visit. Fri. night after we ordered I noticed neither of our servers EVER washed there hands to prepare our food!!! One server worked on there radio, the other talked on his cell and smoked a cigarette while our food cooked. When our food was ready they assembled it, NO HAND WASHING and served us. I didn't eat and noticed they continued to serve others without EVER WASHING there hands. We won't be eating there again !!!

My wife and I were at Peaches Corner on 9/19/2007, we did not eat, just had a beer. The appearance and complete lack of sanitary conditions were alarming. This restaurant/bar has been in business for 70 years and the dirt in this place is just as old. How could this place could ever pass a health inspection? I observed the cook coughing and spitting into a sink, then preparing food, without washing his hands........ In Canada this place would be closed down.......

This is the landmark since 1958 go there and see it, then keep moving. Remember the oinion rings are to die for so are the hot dogs and burgers. Wake up and smell the watered down coffee. Perhaps it's time to stop talking about fatty foods and admit that we simply eat too many calories. Twenty years ago, the average American consumed about 1,850 calories each day. Today, our daily diet has grown by 148 calories (roughly the equivalent of one can of soda). That's theoretically enough to add an extra 15 pounds to each person every year. Judging from the ongoing obesity epidemic, many Americans are gaining those pounds -- and then some. Fatty, unbalanced, and oversized: That, in a nutshell, is the American diet. But it doesn't have to be your diet. "People think eating healthy is a difficult task, but small things make a big difference," Polk says. "You just have to employ some important strategies. It's called taking charge." Visiting Myrtle beach is a visit into America's past. ou real need a Whole Foods. The word organic, vegan, vegetarian doesn't appear on any menu in the area.........sad

You just don’t find places like this! Pretty much in its original state, walking into the diner was like walking back 50 years in time. With very sociable staff we learnt the history of the diner and surrounding area. We had a hot dog and beer, which was very fitting for the place and pretty good at the end of a day of serious bodysurfing. Even if you don’t like hot dogs & burgers, it is a great refuge from the rest of Myrtle Beach strip and a great place to people watch. If you are seeking unique places, full of character then this should definitely be on the top of your list.

What can you say about a Myrtle Beach Landmark?......The food is great. The Onion rings are to die for. Everytime We come to Peaches, I always say I'm going to try the Burger Basket.......Everytime I order the Footlong with Onion Rings.Don't expect this to be a quiet location. Many-Many Young people frequent and enjoy themselves. My wife and I are in our late fifties and enjoy watching the traffic and people. This reminds of the Buckroe Beach area in Hampton,Virginia at the Chesapeake Bay/Atlantic Ocean..Buckroe is no longer in existance. So please enjoy Peaches while you can as nothing last forever. Thanks for the memories Peaches! .

Best hot dogs on the beach - hands down. We have been eating here since I was a kid. I am mostly vegetarian now, but I make and exception to have a hot dog here when we go down to Myrtle Beach every year. The menu is pretty pared down and pretty greasy spoon, because that is what it is. The onion rings are not to be missed. They are beer-battered, made from scratch, and excellent. The service is pretty indifferent, but this is basically a hot dog stand, run by young 'uns on minimum wage who could pretty much care less, but for a quick lunch without getting too far away from the action, it's great. To describe the atmosphere is a joke, but if you are lucky enough to grab a table, you can watch the constant parade of people going by as you eat. This is Myrtle Beach at it's Myrtle Beachiest.

If you go to Myrtle Beach and don't eat at Peaches, then you've only experience part of the allure that is Myrtle Beach. I first went to Peaches when I was a kid with my parents in 1958! I then made it a point to go there every time I went to Myrtle Beach throughout my high school years. Since then, Peaches has been a part of our vacations to Myrtle Beach that we wouldn't miss. My son's grew up going there on their Spring Breaks, and my oldest bought his first "legal" beer there! Even at my age (yeah, I'm old!) I still go there every time I go to MB. In fact, I just ate there yesterday since I was in MB on a business trip for a couple of days. The burgers are as good a burger as you''ll find on the beach, if not better, and the beer is colder than anywhere on the strip. And the atmosphere is unequaled anywhere! I don't even need to mention the sights you'll see on a typical summer afternoon or evening, do I? Take it from me, go to Peaches once and it will be a part of every trip to MB from then on!

You can't go wrong at Peaches Corner!! Do the Burger Basket "all the way" w/ chili cheese fries. Trust me, you'll see what I'm talking about. I was one of the roommates from the Richmond, KY review guy. Great times, great memories, great food!! If you get a chance to sit at the bar and face the strip, it's a side show of crazyness. If Page (old guy behind the bar) is still there, tell him his boys from Richmond, KY sent you. You might get a discount or you might get thrown out. Enjoy!!

We've eaten there for years. We eat there at least 3 time during our week long trips to Myrtle each year. We love it. It's a landmark. Many say the service is bad, but, if you treat them like they treat you, even when the service is bad, it works out. The old guy behind the counter, talk to him like he talks to you, he'll appreciate it. The beer is always cold, the dogs great, the cheese fries fantastic. The burgers are out of this world. Wouldn't go to Myrtle without eating there.

I am a true native of Myrtle Beach - born and raised here - so I used to frequent Peaches Corner a lot as a child. I hadn't been there in a long time until Labor Day (9/5/05). I made the decision to take my parents, who were in from Alabama, and my 4 year-old daughter to eat lunch there followed by a day at the Pavilion. It was going to be a wonderful day. I must say it was one of the worst experiences I've had at a Myrtle Beach restaurant in a very long time. When we received our food, the hot dogs and chili were cold. I asked our server to heat them up for us, and he took them to the older cook, who proceeded to start mumbling and throwing together more hot dogs. He then tossed the others into the trash and glared over at us. I said to him that they were cold, and he was welcome to feel them if he didn't believe us, and he got very loud and said they WERE NOT - all the while trying to talk over me. We ended up exchanging more words - me trying to stay calm, him getting louder and louder - and I just shook my head at him. I could not believe that he was speaking to me that way with my small child there. I suppose I should have asked for the manager, but I was too angry at that point. All in all, we ended up paying over $25 for 3 hot dogs, 2 fries, 4 drinks and EXTREMELY RUDE SERVICE. I guess there was a reason I had not returned there since childhood.

This is THE Myrtle Beach landmark. I have pics of my grandmother, mother, myself, and my kids eating footlongs here. The food is cheapo and the footlongs themselves are thin and not very meaty. But this place has been there sooo long, you just have to eat there so you can say you have. It needs a facelift, and the hired help are not really concerned about you--they get paid whether you eat there or not. It's the location folks...and the history of this place. Do it once, it may be enough.
