Wonderful food and excellent service. Had a large party made reservations for 20. Our waitress Jody was wonderful. She catered to us and we had a delicious meal. All ordered something different and everyone enjoyed. The salad is wonderful. The staff makes you feel at home. They are all friendly and eager to when when asked. Would be going back year after year. ref: 7380 |

The food here is excellent, but, in our experience, it came with a not-so-delectable side dish of aloofness. Some of our party arrived about 5 minutes after our reservation time, and we were treated coldly. This restaurant rests on its laurels. It is a favorite spot -- and they make sure that you know that. A constructive criticism is that they need to pay more attention to customer relations and less on admiring the reflection of their own image. ref: 7249 |

After reading so many good reviews my wife and I ate at PT.
What a disapointment! I ordered a ribeye steak, my wife ordered shrimp and scallops. The steak was virtually inedible. It was the toughest steak I've EVER been served. The scallops were good. The shrimp were rubberized. All the vegetables were very over cooked. The service was great and the steak was removed from our bill. The atmosphere is cute in the old church section. In the added on section they apparently decided they didn't need the help of a designer. Guess what, they did. It's quite stark. Sorry folks, there must be better choices. ref: 6552 |

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant! Mr. Frye's efforts to salvage for posterity those stained glass windows AND the church, and his vision for combining the two, is to be lauded and emulated, if possible. We arrived early for our reservation (7:30), but was able to be seated before our reserved time. Our waitress, Heather, was very attentive (but not intrusively so) and added so much charm to our experience. Our compliments to the chef for an outstanding meal for both of us. Can hardly wait to return! ref: 6069 |

I have been visting Myrtle Beach, Little River area for over 40 years, about 6 years ago our accountant,CPA, recommended we try....rather...... "If you don"t , you can't believe what you"re missing "....... The Parson"s Table...This recommendation has led us to our favorite dining experience of all the Grand Strans"s finest.....We book a dinner at least once each year , and last year it was so good, we came back the next night....I would recommend advance reservations, otherwise it may be a long wait.........The word"s out., and it"s really good....... ref: 6005 |

I loved the cornbread encrusted grouper, the suggested wine was very good and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. My only complaint is that the chairs were very uncomfortable. It felt like we were sitting in church. It seems it would be worth their money to invest in some new and more comfortable chairs. ref: 5941 |

Our first trip to Myrtle Beach and the short drive to Little River was well worth the trip. We're from a resort area in WI and have many fine restaurants and The Parson's Table doesn't take a back seat to any of them. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding and the prices were reasonable. We'll probably vacation in the area again and will certainly make The Parson's Table a "must do". ref: 5333 |

For fine dining, this cannot be beaten. You'll be treated like royalty and the atmosphere is truly unique. Quirky though, there is only one kind of salad and you have a choice of one dressing--the house dressing. The salad is nice, but other choices would be equally nice. Great service, nice atmosphere, good food. ref: 4931 |

We travel quite a bit, and Parson's Table rates as one of the top five restaurants we have ever eaten in. Their food is always beautifully prepared and presented, the flavor top notch. Their beef is always done to our liking, and the seafood dishes rank as good as that of any major restaurant in the country. Manhattan lovers will really like the way this drink is prepared. Fine wine selection at not outrageous prices. We rarely eat desserts, but at this restaurant we almost always make an exception. Best of the Beach. In fact best of the entire Southeastern US. First Class. Will be eating dinner there on New Year's eve. ref: 4534 |

We have been dining at the parson's table each winter season for the pasr ten years. We have tried most of the seafood and beef entrees but I believe their baby back ribs are the best I have ever tasted. We plan on dining there several times this winter season. The murray family make certain of your satisfaction. The house salad is a must.. ref: 4187 |

We were a party of eight, were offered seating in the traffic flow area, asked for a different table and were seated in another room without too much fanfare. Although most were generally satisfied with their meals, I have never had a more disappointing lobster tail. It was extremely salty and without much flavor beyond the salt. It did not taste fresh as I would have expected being in an ocean community. As for the service the waitress mumbled something incoherent into my ear about remaking my dinner so that all but two of us were served initially. This was not the restaurant experience I was led to believe it would be and I'll likely not return. ref: 3889 |

Perhaps the best food in the Grand Starnd area. I've never had a better rack of lamb then that at the Parson's Table. Prices are slightly high but certainly not out of reach. Highly recommend. ref: 3788 |

What unique surroundings! The roughhewn beauty of the interior and stained glass of this old church was a special setting for an excellent meal. An extremely comprehensive wine list is available and at the lowest prices we have EVER seen. (Many are about retail, which is unheard of) The noise level was slightly higher than utopian, but that comes with the ambience. ref: 2217 |

Also been coming here for as long as I can remember and never had anthing but a great meal. Early Bird Specials are not to be missed for the price and love the ambiance. Ed is a treat when he sings his tearjerkers, not to be missed!! Been sending friends here for years, never anything but a "10"
Love the family style salad!! ref: 1792 |

I am surprised there are not more reviews . Absotutely one of the best restaurants around. Everything we've had has been prepared superbly. The filet mignon is a personal favorite. I marked it down one for noise since the owner sometimes is prone to sing "Happy Birthday " or "Irish Eyes" to a patron when the spirit moves him. ref: 1081 |

We travel from Oregon to Myrtle Beach every year to experience that warm, southern sunshine and hospitality. We read, soak up the sun, and our biggest decision of the day is where to have dinner that evening. Invariably we are drawn back to Parsons Table for its superior quality dinners and quiet ambience. The early bird specials are wonderful, but often we wander into the main menu for its expanded chioces. Our all-time favorites are Little River Shrimp and Scallops and, when available, the Carpetbagger. Dependable and consistent, this restaurant can't be beat! ref: 190 |
