We ordered delivery. Salad was wilted. Lasagna was nothing but sauce. Called owner but he was defensive and refused to believe what I was saying. Offered to return money I said don't bother. Buyer beware.

Everything was average about Michaels restaurant except the attitude of the person in charge and the waitress. Don't know if the lazy guy sitting in a booth was owner or not, but acted sometimes like the guy in charge. Since he acted like such a snot, I was only going t0 tell him, but now tell everyone. I ordered a medium pizza pie and it was average, but about half way thru I found a chunk of solid metal about the size of a dime, or more like a nickel. I didn't complain, but told the waitress who relayed the message to a lazy guy sitting at a booth who may or may not have been the manager or owner or both. They thought I was just trying to get a free pizza or something. If I wanted a free pizza, I would have ordered a large one to begin with. Uncaring staff and food average at best Don't eat there, or if you do, watch out for chunks of metal. The bum in charge wouldn't even look at me on our way out. He knew he was wrong.

After a VERY long drive from Altoona, PA , We arrived exhausted and hungry to our resort. The only deliver flyer in our welcome bag was for Michael's. Too tired to venture out we gave it a try. Much to our delight, the food was above and beyond what we expected for take out pasta dinners! We LOVED the Chocolate cake too! The BEST! We even called them to tell them how much we all enjoyed the food. We are not usually too fond of take out pasta, but these guys know how to PLEASE! We are here for almost two weeks and plan to order again or go there. Thanks!

I never write restaurant reviews but Michael's impressed me enough to do this! Just in MB for a wedding - arrived late on Thursday and just wanted a quick bite to eat. As we brought our dog with us, there are few places to dine, so we decided we'd pick up pizza and Michael's was listed in our hotel reference book. Hit the Garmin for the address, found Michael's quickly. Not the first place you'd pick from all the glitter on Kings Highway, but my wife walked in to pick up a menu, and what a great place! The girl at the counter was superb. It was a nice night and no customers were outside on the patio, so she told us to bring the dog and dine there, rather than taking it back to the hotel. She made us feel right at home and we had the best service I've ever had in Myrtle. And when she brought out the pizza (for my wife) and the calzone - I've got to say it's one of the best pies and best 'zones I've ever eaten. As there was way more than enough for the two of us, I swore to only eat half the calzone and save the rest - but it was too good! We did manage to bring back half the pizza for later. Canolis were excellent. Southern boy here but gotta say the pizza was magnifico. Stop by or let them bring you one to the hotel. You won't be disappointed!!

Horrible manager. After standing and waiting for a table for 15-20 minutes, the manager decided the people who walked in the door with 5 people were more important then the two of us, so he by-passed us and seated them. of course we left and went to another eatery. So if you are a small party don't waste your time there.

Wow. What a great place to spend your money. Every time I go here the food is just wonderful and I am never disappointed. This year I brought my grandparents on vacation with my family and they were very very pleased. We have went here every year when we come down and every time we leave we say wow that was great. This is truly a great restaurant. And the pizza is the best

We have lived in MB for several years and Michael's is definitely the best New York style pizza in the area. We've had some strombolis or calzones but it is usually some pies we order and are never disappointed. I can't speak for most of the other food but a large one topping 16" pie for 10.99 is unbeatable.....

We were in Myrtle for a High School baseball tournament, and had pizza at Michael's one night. The food was excellent, and the prices were great. The best part was the crust, which was just about perfect (light and crispy with a great flavor). The sauce was truly Italian, as it contained a blend of sweet and salty Italian spices. It doesn't taste like Pizza Hut or Dominoes... it's homemade, and it has a distinct taste, which we liked very much. They have a reasonable beer selection, including Peroni, which is imported from Italy. We've tried dozens of Pizza places along the Grand Strand over the years, and while Michaels isn't the best we've had, it's in the top 10. And we'll definitely be back.

Quick delivery for takeout, friendly servers. Food is consistently good. Key word consistent. Try the greek salad and stuffed artichokes, yummy! Lots of competition in Myrtle Beach, but this has remained one of our top pizza joints since they have opened.

I first went to Michaels last summer 09 with my best friend I had never tried an anti pasta salad oh my goodness it was so good we ordered another one the next day for lunch. This year I went back to Myrtle Beach with my family and I had to order the anti pasta salad I had been craving for a year, once my husband tried it we had to go back the next day for another one. The pizza is great also, we will be back next year can't wait..... Keep up the great work guys...

We were in Myrtle Beach over the Labor Day weekend. I wrote down this restaurant based on the great reviews from this site. It was wonderful. The pizza was fantastic and the fried ravioli appetizer. We recommended this place to some friends who live in Murrells Inlet. The final cost of our meal was the icing on the cake.

My husband & I started going to Michael's about 4 years ago. We go every year on our annual beach vaction. The cheese pizza is the best we have found. The fried mushrooms and cheese sticks are awesome too. The service is always good & everyone is friendly. The only thing I can suggest is some dipping sauces for the pizza & maybe a few more booths.

Years ago the staff at our hotel said that Michaels is where all the local people go to eat. And boy did we see why! It was awesome. We go back each year on our annual Myrtle Beach trip. The kids love their pizza. We love their calzones and rolls. Pasta dishes are great too. I dont know if they are interested in growing but a little more room is all we can suggest for improvements.

Wonderful food. Plenty of options for a vegetarian like myself. Delicious eggplant Parms, Rigatoni A la Vodka and Broccoli rolls and their Spinach and FETA pizza is one of the best pies I have ever Tasted in my life. One of my Best friends comes into town from Florence, S.C from time to time. He is Italian and he always likes to go to Michael's when he is in town. He claims their sauces are better than his Grandmother's.

I live in Garden City and have always felt it worth the drive into MB to have one of Michaels pizzas. My visit tonight (June 25) however was an exception. With the very first bite of my cheese pizza, I knew there was something different about it. Yes, the CHEESE, or should I say, the lack thereof. It was REAL cheese, and not imitation, that set Michaels pizzas above the rest. Now they are in the same boat as all their competition. I realize the wholesale cost of ingredients is soaring, but I would rather pay the higher price for something rather than have lesser quality.

My family and I heard about a great NY style Pizza joint in MB and decided to try it out. I have been back 3 times. First time, ehhh it was just okay..so we thought to give it another try. Second time, it was so unorganized. The food was cold. My daughter and myself had to send it back. Third time we came into town, I convinced my family to give it one more try. I am now teased by my children to listen to them from now on. Not only was the food horrible again, one of the owners (female) was rude and she obviously didn't think my wife could hear or see her facial reactions when she turned around after we complained about the service and food. We will be sure NOT to go back to this restaurant again and we will also be sure to tell our neighbors and friends who live in Myrtle Beach and those who come down on vacation to find another Italian Pizza place to eat at.

On the first night of my 'Girl's Trip' to Myrtle Beach, we always order from Michael's. Everything that I have had from there so far - pizza and pasta - has been excellent. Their delivery service is also very good. On my next trip (without the girls), I am planning to check out the restaurant for dinner, since all I have experienced is their take-out service.
