We were staying in Garden City and decided we wanted something other than seafood and something other than a chain restaurant we've been to before. After passing all the chains on 17 S. we just happened to spot T-Bones and decided to give it a try. It was about 6:30 on a Tuesday evening and there were only a handful of cars in the lot. A far cry from the packed hour+ wait for most of the inlet seafood places. The lack of vehicles almost scared us off but we decided to give it a try anyways. There were three of us and I opted for the ribs/bbq chicken special. The two others with me went with a T-bone steak and then a chicken dinner. My ribs were one of the best I've ever had. Without asking the waitress even offered to bring extra bbq sauce on the side. The chicken was also very good. The person who ordered the T-bone said it was very tender and good as was the chicken breast platter. My rib/chicken special was $17.99 while the 14oz T-bone dinner was $24. Overall I was pleasantly surprised, would go back next time I visit and would highly recommend T-Bones to any wanting a change up from seafood while in the area.

Not what it used to be. Steak was good, ribs were somewhat dried out and skimpy. Salad was laughable - some lettuce, dressing, and a morsel of celery - nothing else. Very disappointing. Two adults and a child cost $70. Should have gone to Outback.

Come to mb several times a year for many years and always make it a point to eat at tbones at least twice per visit. It seems the quality of the ribs has decreased but the ribeye steaks are excellent. Waitresses lisa and stephie are great as is the key lime pie and sour creme and coconut cake.

I suggested to come here for the all you can eat ribs. I used to eat here years ago and remember it being good. I'm not sure if this was an off night or if things have changed. It is always a let down to bring a vacationer to a local spot and the food to be average at best. The ribs were tender but the sauce and meat was not top quality. I've had better ribs at chain restaurants, and paid less. The green beans as a side were okay. One person ordered a steak and said it was very good. We over paid for what we got and I won't suggest coming here again. Our server was outstanding. The fried pickles were really great as an appetizer.

Absolutely the worst food and service we have ever had!!! We have been there several times, and this time we were extremely disappointed. The prime rib was chewy, stringy, fatty and not 16 oz. The lobster tail was fishy, freezer tasting and had to be cut with a steak knife. The Chicken Austin was so-so. Our waitress was no where to be found. We waited and waited to even be addressed when sat, another waitress finally asked if we had been waited on. We were served 1 glass of ice tea, another waitress served our food, our dishes sat until the bus person came by, and finally she showed up to bring us the bill. Would not recommend this restaurant ever!!!

We’ve never been to Myrtle Beach before but we knew we wanted to find a good rib place to eat. We were referred to T Bones by one of the salespeople at the time share unit that we’re staying at. He said that T Bones has the best ribs in town. Considering there’s no shortage of restaurants here in Myrtle Beach, we had to go and see for ourselves. So, that’s what we did… we arrived at their location in Murrells Inlet around 9pm on a Monday evening. It seems like a pretty big place but it appeared more of a ghost town. Probably due to the day of the week and the time of day. Nonetheless, we were greeted pleasantly and seated right away. Our server was very sweet and did a great job. We didn't feel rushed or unwelcomed due to the late hour. We were there for the ribs so that’s what we had (but I also had a blackened pork chop). The ribs were done perfectly… fall off the bone and really tasty with crispy edges. I can’t say that I’m a rib expert but I’ve had enough in my time to know what’s good. These were better than good… they were great! Both me, my wife and 3 year old cleaned the meat off every bone and the blackened pork chop was pretty good too. The presentation of the food and sides was ok but not much to get excited about but the taste of the ribs makes it all not matter much. Just for a comparison we went to eat ribs today at Sticky Fingers in Myrtle Beach because it appears that they get pretty consistent reviews. Both my wife and I agree that the ribs at T Bones beats the pants off of those at Sticky Fingers (but the sides and other stuff at Sticky’s was probably much better e.g. the wings at Sticky’s were great!). Overall, we had a good experience at T Bones and the ribs were tops. We highly recommend a trip to T Bones for the ribs. We were definitely not disappointed. You won’t be disappointed either.

I feel this is a good restaruant, but needs improvement. Let's start with the hostess., who needs a much needed lesson on manners (we just stood there and she never acknowledged us or even looked at us when we came in the door). She finally asked "how many" and that was all she said. I guess we were to assume we had to follow her when she walked away with 2 menus. The food is okay, but felt our sides were so so. I had fries and they were definately "re-fried" twice........so they were hard as a rock...definately not fresh. As far as the servers go, we've had great servers each and every time. They make up for the other "issues". If we have any complaint on the food, they see that it's fixed immediately. No problems. The atmosphere is not high end, but defintately close to be considered a "dive", but a couple levels up. Just a good local joint is my definition and we will come back.

Great ribs! Fixed old style with lots of crunchy pieces and just the right amount of sauce so you can still taste the juicy yet crunchy pork. I ate my rack so fast, my husband thought I dropped them.......hahaha They lost money on us. AUCE ribs for $20. Service was great too. Short blonde-haired server was great(couldn't remember name)! We now plan our vacation around the rib night. You have to try them if you like ribs. They can't be beaten!

Great food, superior service (Mary), friendly staff, distinctive atmosphere (when was the last time you saw people up & walking around to gaze while waiting for food. They have the absolute best ribs I've eaten in a ~long~ while, the green beans are TDF. Plenty of variety on the menu. We shared/sampled among our party of eight and everyone had something to brag about from appertizers to dessert. Will certainly reccommend and be back. MUCH better than any of those "brand in a box" offerings near/in MB area.

T-Bones is consistently good. The steaks are done to order and the food arrives hot. The blue cheese salad dressing is above average. Mary or Kim are two of the best servers anywhere. As locals this is our choice for most frequent visited eatery. The steaks are the best in the area. Nice casual atmosphere, great service and good food at a reasonable price.

My wife and I had dinner on New Years Eve and had a wonderful dining experience. The filet was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the grilled shrimp were excellent. The fresh bread tasted great along with the baked poatoes. The Keylime Pie was one of the best I have ever had and the decor was fun. We had great service and a great experience and plan to return during our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

My trip to T-Bonz was quite bad. The portions were woefully inadequate for the 20+ dollar prices. The steak was good, but the side items were terrible. The potatoes tasted like they came out of a one dollar "just add water" box. The sevice was average. I recommend that you don't go to this restaurant. The food was higly overpriced for the portion and most items were of poor quality.

I went to on a Sunday Night . I had bought 4 10.00 coupons. I didn't know that they could not be used for early bird. also I could not use but one at a time even if I gave one to other party with me. I got a sirlon steak and I almost thought it was hambuger. The worst steak I have ever eaten. If any one needs a 10.00 gift certificate I will gladly give them away.. My bill was 32.00 at early bird special. It would have been 60.00 at regular prices for two people with no alcahol;

We have been eating at this restaurant for years and it keeps getting better an better. The service is wonderful. The food quality is excellent and the food is great! For those that haven't given the best review on here because of one bad dining experience, always remember that everyone has an off night and you should give them an extra chance. Nobody is perfect 100% of the time. We are going back again tonight it was so great two nights ago. I am glad this restaurant is one that has been around and continues to stay strong for the long haul. Keep up the great work T Bones and we'll continue to come back for many years to come!

I have been eating at Tbones for the last 15 years but have not been able to visit the area for the last two. I excitedly went there for dinner last night and it was awful. One question...What the h-ll happened? My steak was competely fat and my wifes ribs were frozen. The last time I was here, they had the best ribs on the beach. Word is the old GM left and things have gone down hill. The place has some nice renovations but for that I can watch Oprah. Sorry to have to write a bad review for a place I really loved for many years. I guess things are always changing. Time to move on. Mike Ashville, NC

We are part-time residents of the area. T Bones is the best "meat&potatoes" restaurant we've found. The food arrives piping hot and done to order. I like my steak extremely rare. At other places when I explain that I want it cold in the middle it still comes medium rare. T Bones has always done it right. I'm a purist and like my steak plain however the dash of rub that T Bones uses really accents a good steak. Combine this with good service, fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices. T Bones is hard to beat.

We have been to T-Bones in Murrells Inlet numerous times, and have yet to find fault with anything. Their Prime Rib steaks are the best, and prices are very reasonable. As they advertise " Steakhouse & Saloon" this place has a very rustic look inside, with a wood decor. I did not find this establisment to be dirty, with food on the floors, etc, and the service has always been wonderful. I cannot remember ever seeing this restaurant or it's staff, in such a way as the reviews left by the two local residents. Must be mad at management for not hiring them as waitresses. T-Bones Steakhouse & Saloon is recommended by many of the top resorts in Myrtle Beach, and added in as part of the stay and Play golf packages, for a complimentary dinner. Over the years, we have eaten in Austrailian Grill, Thoroughbreds, Cagneys, Rossi's, etc. and found this to be our favorite place.

Had an early dinner there tonight. Dined from the early bird menu. The sirloin tips had no flavor. Took alot of salt to bring out any flavor. The ribs were dry and metiocre at best. Reasonable cost, but food...maybe it was an off night. Oh, the bread and potatoes were great. Salad was small, and basically lettuce mix.

My family and I go there every year when we visit Myrtle Beach. Their all you can eat ribs on Wednesdays are FAB-U-LOUS!!! I look forward to them every year. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let it fool you. The inside has alot of wilderness/auto decor. Warning, if you have small childeren. There is at least a 10' (maybe more) stuffed grizzly to the left as you walk in. When my daughter first saw it she freaked out. LOL!! All in all, a great place with great food. From: Vandalia

We will definitely be back to visit this restaurant. My husband and I had the baby back ribs, and they were so tender they fell off the bone when you picked them up. They were the best I've ever had. My mother and father had steaks, and they said they were wonderful. Service was excellent and friendly. The value of the meal was unbelievable. Hey if you want the best ribbs that just fallllllllll off the bone than you need to stop by murrells inlet t-bones.my husband had the prime rib and could not beleive how tender and juicey it was .the couple we brought with us had 2 of the nightly specials which 1 was the grouper neptune and the other was chicken marsala was better than any other italian restuarant we have ever been too.who new that when we desided to go we did'nt know how much of a selection we had to chose from. And to top it off the service was outstanding. So if you what the greastest meal in town go and check it out the next time your in myrtle beach take a little ride to murrells inlet and check it out......

me and my fiance' keep our camper at mb 6months of the year,so we make about 10 trips a year there. we visit t-bones every single trip and we prefer it over any restaurant on earth! best food, best down to earth service and best value anywhere. i would challenge anyone to find better baby back ribs! they are big and have about 0 fat and are off the hook! the steaks are always cooked as ordered and are off the charts! DO NOT DIE WITHOUT EATING HERE FIRST!!!

My sister and I ate at this restaurant and it was the worst dining experience of my life. The table was dirty when we sat down and nobody wiped it off until after we got our drinks. That tied right in with the rib bone that stayed on the floor the entire time we were there. The place felt dirty and there were stuffed dead animals all over the place. When we finally got our food, after an hour long wait, we unrolled our silverware to find a disgusting fork with dried food on it. Our food was not cooked to order as requested and the price was ridiculous for the quality. When the owner/manager came over to talk to us, after our 4th complaint, his alcholic breath almost knocked me down. I will never return to this restaurant and do not recommend it. Peggy Myrtle Beach

This is the best place for dinning in the greater Myrtle Beach area. The servers are top notch and the food is the best in town. The Prime Rib is great and the Ribs are melt in your mouth perfect. Great place to hang with friends and enjoy a great meal.

My husband and I decided to try this place because of the reviews. The atmosphere is wonderful, service was excellent. He ordered steak and I had the flounder & shrimp combo and we split our dishes. The food was good but nothing special to make us want to spend over $60 to return. Even the garlic mashed potatoes had only a faint garlic flavor. Portions were just enough to finish and not have any leftovers and neither of us are big eaters.

I'm a local and this is probably my favorite restaurant in the area. Great food and great service every time we've gone and the menu is diverse enough that everyone can find something they'll like.

This is an excellent place to dine. Food is great, service is the best, and prices are very reasonable. Ribs are tasty, fish is great, and the soups are very favorable. This place may be a little out of the way, but it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed.

T-Bones is one of the best restaurants in the entire Myrtle Beach area. The waitstaff are friendly and very efficient. My wife and I eat there fairly regularly and have never been disapointed. The steaks are excellent and always prepared just as ordered. The ribs are also first rate.I don't think you will find Fried Shrimp any better or bigger anywhere.T-Bones is a must for any visitor to the Beach. The prices are reasonable for the food and service recieved.

I am a local and eat at T Bones quite often. Food is very good and at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. Steaks, ribs and salads are all wonderful. Any time I have guests in from out of town, T-Bones is a place we always visit. You won't be sorry.
