This restaurant has recently changed ownership and is now called ralph's. We went there for lunch and the service was very poor. It took about an hour to get our burgers and our waitress frequently forgot the items we asked for (drinks, condiments, etc). All the other diners around us had similar problems. Many of the menu items were not available. The food was not really good; certainly not worth the wait. The only good thing was the scenery. I expect this restaurant will likely go out of business soon.. ref: 14162 ![]() |

We ate at the Sidewheeler, Conway three times during our 2 month stay in Myrtle Beach in spring of 2008. On one occaision we had made reservations for 20 of us and they sat us in a seperate dining area...Just like home. Great food, service was good considering the size of our group. My husband and I returned twice more and dined outside near the picturesque river. We will be returning in the spring of 2009 and will bring along new friends to introduce to this great dining restaurant. ref: 13657 ![]() |

Visited them on the way to a pelicans game. Arrived about 5pm and was seated immediately. Only couple in there at the time, but that didn't last long. We were suprised at the elegance of the inside dining. Don't let the parking lot turn you away. This was by far the best experience in a long time. Food and service was great! . ref: 6603 ![]() |

Best Shrimp & Grits we've ever experienced, while seated on the patio overlooking the beautiful Waccamaw River. A very pleasant experience all around....well worth the short drive from the hustle and bustle of the beach! ref: 6017 ![]() |
