If you enjoy typical bar style food, you will enjoy what Senor Frog has to offer. The food is expensive for what it is, a cheese burger will cost about $12. The attraction here is the atmosphere. With the right server, the experience can be fun. The music can be loud if you are sitting inside the building. The outside deck is much better if you would like to have a conversation with the people at your table. It's worth trying once. If you enjoy it, go back. If not, stop in the gift shop and pick up a t-shirt. Sorry, I did not see a "Been-There, Done-That" Senor Frog t-shirt. Good Luck.

This was our family's first time at Señor Frogs. The atmosphere was just as expected which was good music and a friendly atmosphere. The wait staff was great and the food we had was above average as well. I recommend the enchilada stack. It was very delicious. We sat out on the patio on a nice day while our awesome waitress gave us chips to feed the ducks which my little nephew just loved. If we ever make a trip down here again we will definitely come back.

I LOVED Senor Frogs!!! I am 18 and my family and I went there when we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere was nice, it was a little loud but we enjoyed it. We got balloon hats at the end by a very nice guy and the food was delicious. The hamburgers are amazing and their broccoli and cheese soup and fries are even better. We are going back next weekend actually!! Great time and great service. Little pricey but definitely worth it.

After reading some of the reviews regarding their experience at Senor Frogs, I was hesitant to eat at Senor Frogs. I had eaten at Carlos and Charlie's and really enjoyed myself, so went to Senor Frogs anyway. The service was excellent; the atmosphere was excellent; the food was very good, also. In my opinion, this was a great experience for all of us - my husband, and two college-aged kids included. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who don't mind loud music and want to have fun while dining!!! Ignore the negative reviews, please. We had a wonderful experience!!!

Absolutely Horrible! We are locals and we always wanted to try this place. We asked if you get chips with the entree & the server said they are not a real mexican restaurant so you have to buy them. huh? ok so the beans were rancid & the food was ice cold. Salsa was real good. Server said it's out of a can usually except that day they made it fresh. Again, huh? The place was dead. NEVER AGAIN! Save your money & go to any of the El Cerro restaurants for good mexican! Try anywhere else if you are at Broadway!

I am a kid and I hate loud places. The service was pretty good but the server pulled pranks on me like when she said they had a new appetizer but when she opened the dish there were 2 rubber chickens and they scared me to hell. Very loud in there. Atmosphere is terrible. Got tacos they were pretty good. Will not return.

I went to Senor Frogs on two seperate occasions on my trip. The first was with my daughter an fiance. I must say that this establishment is not KID FRIENDLY at all. The server was rude to my daughter, an didnt listen to a thing she said. We sat there unimprssed. Our server did nothing to make it intresting visit but with a table next to us he made their visit a blast. Very unimpressed an very upset because this was the place my daughter chose to eat at that day. She was excited an let down. Our second visit was good. Not great but good. We sat on the deck away from all the noise an enjoyed the outside with a breeze. The Daquries however were amazing. Not impressed an would never ever in my life go back

Went there for lunch. We saw Senor Frog's in the Bahamas, didn't eat there but thought we would try Myrtle Beach. For a party of 4 we spent over $70. This included Ribs, Chicken Fajita, 2 bowls of Lobster Bisque (at least that's what they called it) and a ceaser salad with no meat. We had water with our meal, no alcohol. The food was okay, certainly not up to expectations. For the price, the food should be better. Fun atmosphere to overpay for food.

Frozen hamburger patty. budget hamburger and cold fries for about $20. McDonald's would have been $5!

The atmosphere is ok. Nothing like Senor Frogs in Cancun, Cozumel, Aruba. Thought it would be the same. My mistake.

I did not like my experience at Senor Frogs at all. We waited on line to get seated for a good hour. Finally we were seated and my fiancee got his nacho appetizer right away BUT it took a good hour for our food to even come out! At this point it was after 9pm and i was starving. I was not a fan of the atmosphere of the restaurant as it was really loud that you could not hold a conversation with whoever you are with and its dark and you can't see your food. I squirted what i thought was a lemon onto my grilled chicken, turned out to be a lime ugh. I think its overpriced for what you get. I would not go back.

Senor Frogs was an excellent restraunt to eat at! Our server was very friendly and humorous. The food overall was delicious although it was quite expensive. We had never been before and we really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was loud from all of the music and from the DJ. But the noise was not at all a problem for our family, for all we had come to do was have a great time. The atmosphere was really creative as well as the bar chairs! Great creativity and artistic ability! The food we ordered was awesome! We ordered a bowl of their salsa as an appetizer and the bowl was huge. The waiter was always glad to bring us a new basket of chips and refills on our drinks! The platter we ordered was absoluetely delicious! The steak and chicken were both greatly cooked. And it was also big enough to share with the whole family! My sister ordered the cheese dip and it was great as well. We had to wait for about 10-15 minutes but, the wait was worth it. I totally reccomend this restaraunt for big groups and large families. You can party like a rockstar or you can just have fun with your friends and family! This restaraunt was great enough to become MY favorite!

My husband and I took our young children here after the aquarium. The signs on the wall were not child appropriate. Our daughter started questioning some of the comments on the wall. The food was good and average priced. We just assumed that it would be a family friendly restaurant (especially since it was noon).

I just had dinner there and was starving, me and a friend went as an alternative to margaritaville (cause the wait time was an hour and a half.) The food was ok I guess...but there was a lot of it. The atmosphere was amazing, they were atimate about getting 100% participation out of the customers. We did the conga line and by the time we sat back down our food was being sat at our table. We didn't wait long and was sufficiently busy with the party scene going on just ten feet from us. I wouldn't recommend going there just to eat. It's more of a party and probably should be regarded as such. The price of the food was horrible.

I had the Chicken Tostada Salad & it was one of the best salads I've ever had. I went in with very low expectations, and I was very impressed. I will definatly be returning for lunch! I'm not one to complain much, but we were not impressed. Our seating was literally on the stage by the band, so it was difficult to have a conversation. My boyfriend ordered a shrimp meal with fries, which came in a bucket completely filled with cold, stale tortilla chips. On top is where they threw a handful of shrimp and fries, a small meal for a big price. We won't be back.

I really can't rate the food or seating only because we never ate there but in July my boyfriend and I went out for an evening of dancing and fun. The next morning we were checking our reciepts to our bank statements, our total was not match up to one another. There were extra charges. We called and inquired about the differances. There was a $6.00 holding charge and $3. and chage added. They said that we didn't meet their 20% gratuity, and that thir credit card machine automatically adds it in. Nothing was ever said to us about that or did we see any sign's stating that there was 20% added. We will go back. Very good for entertainment. Bring cash leave the credit card home. Also some of the other places in there do the same.

Two weeks prior to vacation I started planning to take my familt to SENOR FROGS,because a friend of mine had told me about it.We were all excited. When we got there we noticed the atmosphere was fantastic, but we were put on the deck,so we saw very little of said atmosphere. We ordered 2 appitisers, chips and salsa, and cheese sticks. The chips and salsa came quick enough, but the cheese sticks we had to ask for way later, and they were for my 9 year old granddaughter, who was crying by the time she got them.I can't remember what everyone ordered, but I ordeded a chix sandwich, and my son ordered a mug of shrimp cocktail. My sandwich was so tough that I had to tear it with my teeth, and I only did that once,it was dry and tasteless. My sons shrimp cocktail finally showed up about halfway through the meal, after we asked for it,when our waitress finally stopped by.Our waitress,Ashley was rude, and unfriendly, and rarely checked on us.

This place was horrible. The food was very bland and way over priced. The stupid coupon in the monster book is a joke as its for free "chefs nachos" as it states on the coupon which is nothing more than some chips with beans and a few jalapeños. The service was very slow and not even busy when we were there. I would never eat there again and would not recommend to anyone..

Love the place. Always have a great time. The waiters and waitresses are always very energetic, fun and friendly. Our daughters were up on stage dancing and the lead singer stepped down from the stage so that the girls had the whole stage to themselves. (the girls were age 10 &11 at the time). The food was great. Great evening for the family with lots of laughs. We will always be coming back on our visits to Mrytle Beach

I went here last year and it was amazingly good and i loved it! The entertaiment was awsome they did a funny skit on the stage. So i returned this year exsepting it to be good, but it sucked we ordered apts. and they bill was pricy for 3 apts. The waitor was rude and didn't bring back all the money that she was susposed to when we gave her the money for the bill. So we comlained and she got ticked. So she sucked. And it is loud in there but thats what you expect from a restraunt like this. The atmosphere is really cool in there and theres a ballon man he pretty sick.

This is one of the loudest, most horrible, unecessarily expensive meals I have ever endured in my life, including family holidays.

The music was so loud that my husband and I couldn't have any semblance of a conversation, and it was impossible to hear our waitress. We were charged for chips and salsa that were questionable at best, when most places will hand the stuff out for free like water.

We got the fajita dinner for two, figuring it would be enough to share. It came with chicken, steak and shrimp, but the three combined were only enough to make four very modest fajitas, and the platter didn't even come with guacamole, which is standard for most fajita meals.

In addition to the poor quality of food, we were constantly interrupted during our meal by employees running around and putting Mardi Gras beads around our necks and blowing party blowers in our ears. Our bill was about $30 for two, and all we had to drink was water.

If you want to go somewhere with great food and a fun atmosphere, try Yamato hibachi. It's really good, very relaxing and you get enough food for two or three meals.

Needless to say, I will only go back if I'm already very, very drunk or have somehow suddenly entered the seventh circle of Hell.

Our large group (9) went here for dinner. Waitstaff helpful in getting our large group seated quickly. Lighting so poor we needed a flashlight to read the menu. Drinks and food came in a timely fashion. The food was okay, not anything outstanding and we all thought not a good value. The noise level was not well tolerated and we probably will not return.

They advertise Authentic Mexican food. It tasted nothing of its kind. The food was luke warm. We were charged $10.00 for chips and salsa. The salsa tasted like pasta sauce. The service was poor. Our waiter was too busy dancing to take care of us.

Not impressed with quality of the food and the service is just adequate for this type of restaurant. It was surprising to have to pay for the chips and salsa, and I didn't think the service warranted a mandatory 18% gratuity. Probably a one-time shot for us. There are too many good restaurants to go back for a second round of mediocre.

The worst mexican food we ever ate. There was not one thing authentic about this restaurant. The service was just ok. Where have you ever gone to a mexican restaurant and had to pay for chips and salsa without being told there was a charge for something that is usually complimenary. Our bill was charged 10.00 for this. When I questioned the waiter on why he did not inform us before hand of this charge he acted as if i were speaking english (just kidding). Broadway on the beach was a great place with too many nice restaurants to choose Senor Frogs. Go any place else.

My sister and I went here for lunch. Being a vegetarian I tried the blackbean soup... bad idea. It was grey dish water that tasted remotely like bacon/band-aid. The sauce on my sister's enchilada's tastes like spaghetti sauce. The pina coladas we had were good. My guess is that its a great place to come out to at night when the drinks are flowing and food standards are low.

The worst mexican food I ever had!! Feel like I thru away $50. The salsa & the sauce on my enchiladas tasted like Hunts Tomato Paste. Although the water w/ lemon I had was pretty good. If you want better food & want to save some money, eat at Taco Bell.

My sister and I had lunch at Senor Frogs today and we really enjoyed it. I read the other reviews when we got back home, and seeing so many negative ones, think something must have changed!!

The food was good, the service was good (our waiter was newly employed there for only 2 weeks), the atmosphere on the deck (the beach section) was great. Seated around us were 3 tables of families with young children who all seemed to be enjoying their meals as well.

The one thing we didn't like: After taking our drink order, our waiter asked us if we wanted chips and salsa. We said "sure". We were surprised to find that we were charged $5 for this "appetizer", even though 1) they didn't fit the description of the tri-colored chips on the menu 2) he didn't ask if we wanted to "order" an appetizer 3) chips and salsa are free at every other mexican restaurant we've ever been to.

Other than that, everything was very good.

But, be aware of the prices: Lunch for 2 (and we ordered only appetizers and 2 drinks) with tip was $66.

The food, however, was very tasty, or at least our chicken quesadillas and guacamole were! We'll definitely be back!

We just got back from Myrtle and loved Sr. Frogs! We had the nachos which were HUGE with shredded chicken. Their guacamole is fantastic. We had the fish bowl type margaritas. They were only $8...I saw another review that said they were $15 for one? We had great service too. Maybe they've improved on some things since some of these other reviews. It definitely isn't a place to take the kids, more of a party atmosphere. We loved it and can't wait to go back!

If you are looking for Mexican Food, then I suggest going elsewhere. If you are not that hungry yet looking for a decent time, then this is your place. We were seated in no time - however, it took almost 20 minutes for our waiter to even acknowlege that we were there - he was too busy doing a conga line around the restaurant. We finally got his attention and placed our order - and when our frozen drinks (Miami Vice), they were far from frozen. In fact, we could not pick up our glasses for about 5 minutes because they were too hot!! When we complained to our waiter, he said that we should have drank them as soon as he brought them out so that they would not melt!! Our food arrived 40 minutes after we ordered (in the meantime, we were asked to stand on our stools, do the YMCA, form yet another conga line.....). The food was slightly below average - at least for what we expected. The kids love this place because of the loud noises and goofy staff, but I suggest that all adults looking for a nice evening out try Taco Bell - I'm sure you'll have a much better experience!!

I was there last week with my family, kids, teenagers, us (mid 40´s), grandma and grandpa. WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME. There is fun for all ages, we even did the famous conga line and when our food came to the table... what a big portions, specially the nachos. Service was outstanding, the servers made us have a great time. Imagine Grandpa dancing on the chair. That was hallarious. We are coming back, consider us regulars!!! Best of luck!!!

Took the family here looking for "fun" place with mexican food. WORST food ever, tasted like cleaner - all of it, including the drinks. My husband's beer was warm. Even the kids did not like their food. Server never even asked how the food was, I'm sure she knew the answer to that. This place looks great for someone looking to have drinks and party. Should be labeled as a bar with some (nasty) food. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone with kids or to anyone looking to eat food. Will NOT return!

Server was very nice, as was the restaurant. The food was by far the worse Mexican food we have ever eaten. My kids who usually love tacos, etc didn't even care for it (tacos with only meat just don't cut it--no lettuce, no tomatoes, no salsa or cheese). Nice place but the food will keep us from ever returning.

I went with my family in August 2006. One of the worst dining experiences of my life. The noise level in the restaurant was extremely loud. Our waiter could not hear us to take our order. We have had better Mexican food at Taco Bell. Most Mexican restraurants I have been to serve chips and salsa, you must pay five bucks at Senior Frogs. They were cold and stale. Service was bad as the waiter was up front dancing as opposed to serving clients. This place better decide quickly if it is the Mexican version of Coyote Ugly or a dining establishment. It is not good at either. Do yourself a favor and pass this one by.

Just got back from Myrtle Beach. Atmosphere was great and fun. I guess it is to make you forget about the bad food and terrible service. Someone in our party did not get her meal with the rest of us (it was a salad by the way). when it finally came they forgot the dressing. good luck finding your waiter again. We the waiter finally showed up he didn't seem to care. I will not be back there next year!

The food was really bad. My wife and I were seated and placed our drink order and were forgotten about for about fifteen minutes. When the drinks came mine was missing. The food was the absolute worst mexican I ever saw or tasted. I had enchilladas and there was very little chicken in them. Just a blob of cheese. My wife ordered a dish that was nothing but a bowl of cheese. It was called some kind of wrap, they even provided the wraps about the size of a saucer. The waiter never came back to ask us anything. I had to hunt him down for a fork! The couple behind us were very upset, the gentleman got his food and she never got hers. I heard them ask three times. Do not waste your time or money here.

I was in Myrtle Beach on a family vacation and discovered Senor Frogs at Broadway at the Beach! How exciting..it was like what I heard Cancun is like, great food....people dancing on chairs and having fun. After dinner, I took my family back to the hotel and my husband and I came back and had a great time - even closed the place for the first time! Definitely a must in Myrtle Beach!
