We decided to check out this little pub when the wait for the "larger, tourist" restuarants was at least two hours. Thank goodness we did! What a great little place. We were greeted by a happy, friendly "HELLO" from the bartender, Erin. We asked what was good and she said "Everything", then told us what the locals like. We ordered the crab dip, an Italian Grinder and a Large White Pizza. This place isn't fancy by any means but the food was delicious! Our kids went out and played volleyball on the beach volleyball court while we hung out and played NTN trivia on the TV's. We will definitely go back to this place and will skip the bigger, busier places. We felt at home here and can't wait to go back!

We drive by this little Beach House Restaurant all the time and decided to give it a try. Basic Pub menu with pizzas and subs as well. We ordered a pizza and their Italian Grinder, Hot. We were pleasantly surprised to find that both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was filled with toppings and the grinder was filled with meat, the bread was perfect and having it hot made it soooo good. The bartender was so bubbly and made us feel so at home. The place was full of what looked like locals and other restaurant people which says a lot about a place. We live in Pawleys Island but plan to become "regulars" here as well!

There is no way to describe the experience at K-Raes. We go there at lieast twice a week. The atmosphere is perfect for the "inlet" feeling, and the owner/staff are AMAZING! They are always having a good time, and won't call it a night until everyone is satisfied. For locals, it's the best place on the inlet to be, and for tourists; what an experience!! Don't drive by this place. You've got to check it out!

I have lived in Murrells Inlet my whole life and have seen many restaurants come and go in this spot. K~Rae's is definitely here to stay. The staff, especially the bartender Erin is welcoming, friendly and makes you feel at home the minute you enter. The menu is not real big but the food is incredible. The pizza is the best around, the "grinders" are to die for and the specials will knock your socks off. They have a great happy hour with 1/2 price apps, beer and drink specials and the best steamed shrimp I've ever eaten. The locals and service industry have named it the "Unofficial Employee Lounge of M.I. That should tell you something. I am SO happy this place came to our neighborhood and I'm sure it will be here for a LONG time.

Heard the place reopened and tried it out. Ordered the recommended Irish Pizza (mashed potatoes and bacon on a small 5"-6" pizza dough) - different but not really all that good; but it wasn't 'bad' - more like just bland; but it WAS filling with the bread and potatoes together. Also ordered an Italian Sub to-go ... it wasn't very good and I can't recommend that; they use particularly lousy buns ... the sub looked/tasted pretty plain-Jane. Waitress/bartender was quite nice, beer was cold I'll try it again but there's no hurry - all places need time to sort of find their spot (if they're going to last). Decent location, something should work there; maybe this place will fix their problems. I wish 'em well and will check 'em out again late in the Summer.

A group of us go to K~Rae's twice a year without our wives and twice a year with them. We found it by chance after checking into our house on a Saturday morning. The owner, Kerri was in the kitchen cooking but came out periodically to say hello to all of the customers. She chatted for a few minutes and then returned to doing her work. When we brought our wives, she was sure to make them feel welcome and at ease as we've all told them we spend ALL of our free time at K~Rae's. She does not discriminate or "look down upon" anyone that comes in the door. To the person who wrote the last comment, maybe you gave her and the manager a reason to be put off. She has moved to the Inlet and we will definitely be going there, with and without our wives.

I had stopped in this place during october bike week and was never so insulted. I was introduced to the owner and manager and was looked down upon. They were very rude and I will never return or will recommend this place to anyone. I can say the staff was nice. I come down both bike weeks with alot of people and I can say they have lost my money...

Stopped in on Saturday & Sunday the last weekend of Bike Week. The Group I was with had a blast. And I was glad for them, but no matter what, I wasn't leaving.. They had Vitamin "G".. Guinness. I think I even proposed to one of the bartenders. Thanks Guys! See you again!! Mikey

K-Raes will be a permanent stop when in Myrtle Beach. The food is fabulous and the Owner and staff are absolutely FANTATSTIC! This Pub just feels like home and has a warm & freindly atmosphere. Very Clean - so close to the beach yoiu can hear and see the waves. At K-Rae's they treat everyone like a "local" patron ----we will be coming back again and again!

We found this little gem by accident and have been regulars there ever since. We have a house in Surfside and frequently come down from NY to visit. The food is great, the service is the best in M.B. and the atmoshpere is warm and inviting. The owner, Kerri makes you feel immediately at home and it's obvious the staff is happy there. Elaina, Whitney, Mary, Erin, Carla and Kim are all sooo funny and friendly. Brian the karaoke guy is so cool and we have such a great time when he's there. We love this place and urge anyone coming to Myrtle Beach to check it out!

This place is the best on the beach by far. They make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door! Even though the owner is from MA and is an avid Red Sox and Pats fan, she welcomes all fans of all sports! We had a great meal, the bartender treated us like we knew her for years and the owner chatted with us forever! We definitely will come back and will be sure to tell everyone to go to K~Rae's!
