Had a great time. so much in fact, that we went back 4 nights in a row. We had a group of bartenders that really know how to throw down! Fantastic service every time. People need to remember what this place is. If you're not in the mood for music and a waiting list, don't bother to come. This isn't fine dining and it isn't quiet. It's a jimmy Buffet concert with food. The place is packed all the time and you'll sit down when someone else leaves. I highly recommend sitting outside especially in the evening weather permitting. It's a bit pricey but you're paying for the atmosphere not so much the food. It's a party. If you're not ready for that, go somewhere else.

I had been wanting to go here for a long time, so we took a big group. I was very displeased with the taste of the food and the cost. the atmosphere was wonderful - we all had a great time. However, it was really hard to get over the food. Honestly I don't mind paying money for really good food. This was average to bad food.

Very disappointed. The menu has changed with fewer choices and the prices are way to high for the types of food served. Higher than everywhere else. The atmosphere gets old after being there a few times. So there is no reason to go back.

After I rated this restaraunt I asked myself "then why do I keep going back every year while on vacation"? I guess it's all about the experience of the atmosphere. Food is average but not worth the price and the drinks are WAY TO HIGH as many have stated. Service has always been a problem both getting seated and being served whether at the bar or a table. I guess it's the feeling of being on vacation and the decor. After writing this, I realize I have had my fill of this place and could spend my money more wisely by going elsewhere. Been there, done that.

We visited Margaritaville, Myrtle Beach, SC this week on our vacation. It was my first trip to any Margaritaville restaurant and wow! was it a memorable one. Yes we had to wait for a table but the wait wasn't long. The food was expensive but was delicious. Our server was absolutely fantastic! He was very attentive while not being too in our face; he was very personable; and he even remembered the stories we told. Margaritavillle, you need more servers like him! Would I dine here again? Absolutely! It will be my #1 restaurant of choice from now on.

My fiancée and I went her for the bar, the food smelled amazing and the nacho plates that frequently went past us were unbelievably huge! The drinks were very tasty and good! You should try this place out just for the atmosphere and the "hurricane," you can't miss it when you walk in!

I've been a parrot head since I was little. Couldn't wait to eat there. I was in Myrtle Beach for bike week and rode there in the rain. Waited one and a half hours for at table then waited another 30 minutes before getting up and leaving without so much as a " hi I'm your waiter/waitress". The lady at the check in ready did not care at all when I told her what happened. Still am a big Buffett fan, but the music not the restaurant.

This is a restaurant my family (a mother, father 12 and 7 year old daughters and a 4 year old son) and I used to love going to! The nachos were amazing the food was good the atmosphere was breathtaking (not to mention the pond front dining)! Sadly, lately this restaurant has gone downhill, they raised the prices, got rid of a lot of the yummy food, and turned a cute little kids menu with a parrot and plenty of fun activities into cheap bendy stick things. They still have a neat hurricane show which might be the only good thing they have not taken away. We used do be regular custormers but never again shall we dine at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville!!!

I went to Margaritaville for the first time a few years ago. I ordered the Cheeseburger in Paradise. My teenage children did the same. We all enjoyed it, we loved the FUN, UPLIFTING atomosphere, I think the prices were not bad at all. I went last year as now we do not go to Myrtle Beach without Margaritaville, in fact, for my birthday i ask for $100 gift cert to put away for our trip. I had myself and 3 teenagers, we had to order more takeouts like their amazing ribs and wings to use my certificate. LOVED the music, Loved the wait staff, Loved the food.... There is NOTHING i can say bad about it. It is definately a place to go to let your hair down and just have fun. The gift shop is great, being Buffett fan I WILL NOT MISS IT. Sure you will have to wait when there are tons of people at the beach, you would any other beach town. That is why we in October, not too hot, not too crowed but still jumpin. After a year of work, life in general, Myrtle Beach-Relaxation_Margaritaville to hand in hand. THUMBS UP JIMMY!

I'm typing this with 2 of my 5 children suffering from horrible food poisoning, and I'm sure the other kiddos and my husband and myself aren't far behind! I've been reading reviews on tainted nachos and chicken and wishing we had gone somewhere else! This is day 3 of our summer vacation and I'm beyond mad! We have emailed the main customer service address and called the restaurant. The resturaunt was no help and offered to call us and check on kids in the am! Screw you! You will receive our ER bill and a letter from our attorney for reimbursement of that as well as our $165. meal! Do not ruin your vacation... Stay away from Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach! Also read of severe food poisoning from nachos at the Orlando establishment.

Very disappointing for a meal for 2 that was almost 100 dollars. The steak was over done by a long shot supposed to be medium rare, was well done. Veg was frozen beans and I mean they tasted rubbery like out the bag frozen. The dessert tasted like the worst box brownie I have EVER tasted. Will Never go back

I went to Margaritaville in July of 2010 at lunch time... me and my sister went on vacation and had a great time. The different "shows" they do were fun to us... Both 21 at the time...on vacation... We got seated immediately. Our server was a little rude, but after telling her she was, she got better. I got a hurricane for my beverage and it was delicious. I got the Cheese Burger in Paradise and she got chicken tenders... Our food was hot and tasty when it arrived. Our total bill for two Hurricanes, chicken, my cheeseburger and volcano nachos... was a total of like 30ish dollars...a nice place to go if you are on vacation. The noise level was great for us... I will be returning next week...and will have another review

All of yall saying you came one time in may and it was a short wait and the food was good. Then saying you came back in July and it was a long wait and the food wasn't as good? You need to realize- during the summer (especially July) there is more people at the beach than there would be in may. It WILL be a longer wait if there is more people. When there more people that means the food will be rushed, which could lead to it not being best quality, or as good as it usually is. I suggest Margaritaville to EVERYONE. it really is great :)

I have been coming to this restaurant 2 times a year for the past 5 years when we visit. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The food has gone up, and for my family of 4, 2 kids included, it was 70$ for lunch and 2 cocktails. Drinks were 8$ and served in a 10 oz plastic cup. The waiter forgot our nachos then LIED and said they were delivered to another table, oopps, did we want another order? Our food was on the table at this point. The kids meals are 6.95 and are a joke. My daughter got a bowl of cold Kraft Mac n cheese for 6.95 with NO sides. Son got 2 chicken fingers and all of 10 fries for same price. We both got sandwiches and were not impressed. Beware the special sauce on the club, who knows what it is!! Atmosphere cannot make up for this level of sucky service and dirty over-priced food. I won't ever be back.

Jimmy Buffet's is a fun place to go and the food is fine. I also recommend it to other locals as a great place to bring out-of-town visitors who want a vacation dining experience, touristy entertaining thing to do. Try to get a seat on next to the rail overlooking the Broadway "lake". However, SOMEBODY,PLEASE, QUICK, TELL JIMMY THAT THE MASS PRODUCED MARGARITAS SUCK! Truly, I am sorry to say and find it hard to believe but their Margaritas are always terrible--and I've tried most of the different types there. I consider myself an amateur expert on Margaritas--in my opinion, they are not doing them correctly. They use some lime sour mix that is too sweet, too syrupy and too sour and maybe they add 7up (?). Neither do their ritas have the cointreu or triple sec bite. In fact the last time I was there I wrote the classic Margarita recipe and directions on the napkin and asked the server to request the bartender make them my way, had to ask twice for a real lime wedge. SO IF ANYONE KNOWS JIMMY PLEASE TELL HIM HE NEEDS TO DO A MARGARITA CORRECTION INTERVENTION THERE ASAP.

Overpriced, tasteless food, without a smile. What kind of restaurant will survive with this combo. Our nachos were cold and soggy. My chicken was burnt around the edges and a refill was hard to come by. Not impressed. We'll stick to Cheeseburger in Paradise where there's service with a smile and you get more for your money....FLAVOR AND QUALITY!!!

After reading reviews I guess not much has changed....a repeated theme of complaints since 2005 still hold true. Overpriced for what you get, limited menu, way too loud for an enjoyable experience, food nothing great and they have issues with seating people quickly even when tables are available. Waiters can't get your order right because they can't hear you. Music is too loud on purpose so you can't hear everyone complaining to eachother about prices, less than spectacular food and the long wait. The pickles are good......cheeseburger good but more bun than meat...not worth $10. Had to share entree & drink water because it was so overpriced. Maybe I should go there drunk & only order a margarita to see if they can get that right. Then it may seem like an awesome time....loud & laid back. Atmosphere is all they really have....walk through see the sites & move on. Only been there once, usually give aly restaurant two chances but the reviews that are here will make you second guess that. Hit or miss....this one is a risk for sure. What a shame & a waste of a cool idea. Gordon Ramsey may need to go see what owner or manager allows this level of quality to continue. Maybe you can find good food there but you will pay too much for it & wait too long....who needs the aggravation when you are on vacation? Go to Burro Locos instead....trust me...they know margaritas & great food.

We visited Margaritaville in September of 08. We only stopped in for drinks. We were seated fairly quickly. My friend and I both ordered margaritas. They were 7.00 each and were served to us in 10 or 12 oz. plastic cups. I was really surprised and disappointed by this. I expected a regular margarita glass for that price. If you wanted a glass you had to pay like 12.00, but I think you got to keep the glass. I wonder if Jimmy Buffet knows about this? I probably would not go back.

If you never have been to a Margaritaville then you should go while on vacation at Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere is fantastic. The food is decent, but I suggest you go around 9pm to eat dinner. We were told it was a 30-40 minute wait at 4 pm on a Friday. We were given a pager and told it only worked on their property (bar, gift shop, restaurant). After about 30 minutes we went up to the floor of the restaurant to see how much longer it looked like we would have to wait. There were tons of empty tables but no one was being seated. My husband asked if they could give us an estimate of how much longer but was told their computers were down and they were seating from a list. No idea how much longer. At 5 my husband went over and asked again because of all the empty tables. Our 3 year old was getting very antsy. He was unable to say when BUT the computer was up. We noticed that people began getting seated VERY quickly then. We were seated and given a free appetizer for the wait. Now... that being said.. the restaurant itself was great! I'm NOT a jimmy buffett fan and I was worried it would be all his "stuff" so to speak. The decor was amazing.. something to look at everywhere. If you are seated on the ground floor, there are balloon artists walking around...planes, boats, just a LOT for the kids to look at. It is on the water and fair warning if you have kids they CAN and WILL see the amusement rides at broadway and want to go. ($3 per ride.. ugh) We got Volcano nacho's as our free appetizer... VERY Good. My husband and I both got the most tender steak I've every had. I like mine well done so usually it's as tough as shoe leather. It was the teriyaki steak. My son got the cheeseburger in paradise and raved about it. Our daughter got the chicken & fries which was nothing special but we also got her the juice drink (orange /pineapple) which was served with a sword and 2 maraschino cherries. She LOVED it! I strongly recommend this place and that you bring your camera. If you are traveling without kids, the bar is outside under a lighthouse and you could easily lounge until you're paged. If traveling with kids I'd recommend you make reservations. We found out later they have 10 minutes to respond to the page, so if a large group someone can stay behind and call the others when the pager goes off. You won't be seated without your entire party there. Overall, a good experience. Enjoy!

For a large restaurant, I guess they don't care about their reputation. I do not recommend going. I waited 3 hours for a table next to then be seating on top of the live band, could hear anyone in my party because of the speaker 2 feet from my table, when the food arrived, the food was hard and warm and I got a bonus in my drink. You decide for yourself!

we took our whole family for our anniversary afternoon .9 of us. Had to stand in line, with 3 grand daughters young, we went to the bar. for seats. I ordered drinks and appitizers for everyone. the bar maid was too busy doing her work to be bothered with us. our food was thrown in front of us. the waiter came and told my husband to move "he had people who needed to sit down where he was sitting!" the guy was a complete jerk!!!! Food was not good, our bill was over 120.00 for drinks and 3 appetizers. we were going to eat dinner, but were so angry that we couldn't even talk. the waiter just laughed at us. Jimmy Buffet should not associate his name with this hole!

My husband is a huge lover of Margaritas, so our first trip to Myrtle Beach had to include a trip to Margaritaville. First, the Margarita was great! The atmosphere was fun. Second, the food was not so great. My husband ordered ribs, and he said that they were just OK - not much meat, and certainly not falling off the bone. I had a Chicken, Cheese, and Nut Salad. It was the WORST salad I ever had. The mixed greens consisted mostly of the core of iceberg lettuce, and the parts that were not the core, were wilted. The description said the salad contained cucumbers - and it did, but they were chopped up so small they were barely recognized. There was so little cheese on the salad, I barely knew it was there. The chicken on the salad was OK, but nothing special. The salad was horrible. It was all a bit overpriced too. I'm glad we went, for the experience, but I would never go gain. Too many other good restaurants in the area, this one was not worth the price.

The only reason this place survives is the location and the name. Love Buffett. Love the t-shirts, etc. Go to the gift shop, get yourself a shirt, and forget waiting the 2+ hours to get seated for really average, expensive food. There are SO many more decent restaurants in the area. If you're still stuck on the Broadway area, try Tripp's, down at the other end. ALWAYS a great meal.

Margaritaville is my favorite restauraunt to go to in myrtle beach because it's fun and relaxed and their burgers are TO DIE FOR! anyone who has'nt ate there is missing out. From the amazing gift shop with tropical clothes to the giant blender & airplane hovering above inside, i suggest this restauraunt above all of the others because it's the most unique & memorable :) ~ cherry and david

Me and my family went on vacation last May and decided to eat at Margaritaville. We must have been lucky becasue we had a 10 minute wait and the service was really good. It had a wonderful tropical & family atmosphere and we all had a good dining experience. The price was very reasonable and the food was really good and the portions were nice sized!! No complaints here...we're going back next year. THANKS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE AND DELICIOUS FOOD!

For the wait at this restaurant, you expect the food to be decent, and it's not even close. Horrible!! Over priced and very very noisey. The host staff needs some major improvements on their customer skills........very rude and abrupt. The server wasn't much better. Very sarcastic when asked questions on entrees? Had to be flagged down repeatedly for refills on drinks, and he wasn't that busy. Only had 3 other tables of 4 (like us). Not worth the money, time or effort.

This restaurant was a considerable disappointment. I've been to Margaritaville restaurants in Orlando and New Orleans, both of which are fabulous, and couldn't wait to eat here as well. The wait was long but I expected as much. However, the food was DEFINITELY NOT up to the quality that I expect from this restaurant and it took way too long to receive it. If you want to waste away in Margaritaville, take a trip to either Orlando or New Orleans, but skip this one!

We were regulars at this restraunt-At our last visit a couple weeks ago the who atmosphere had changed. The stilt walker scared our grandson because she stood near our table and became very loud and would not move away, although she was hollering at people across the room. When the food arrived it was not good, and so expensive, mostly bread with very little meat and dressing. I love Jimmy Buffett, and do not believe he knows how the food has become so tasteless at this location.

Okay...I know the wait was long but it was worth it...this is what vacation is all about. My family and I had a FANTASTIC time...the atmosphere was a lot of fun. Our food was very good and the drinks were yummy. We made a great memory at Margaritaville and will come again next year. I heard negative comments about the food being overpriced and the atmosphere too loud but we decided to make up our own minds about the place...I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for some fun and wanting to make some fun vacation memories :)

This place was a HUGE disappointment, the wait was 2 and a half hours, so my boyfriend and I decided to try our luck at the bar. Amazingly we got two seats and sat down for drinks and dinner. The conch fritter appetizer was the only shining point for this place, they were excellent. The food was horrible otherwise, it seemed like they were all pre-made and then thawed to serve, no taste and waay overpriced. The bartender was obviously trying to rush us out because it was so crowded. It was loud and annoying and had a vaguely mold-ish smell to the whole place. I would not ever come here again, there are so many better places to eat in Myrtle Beach.

This is a joke. My food was the worst food i've ever eaten in a restaurant. Do not go here unless you want to have horrible service and bad food. I should have thrown my money into the water by our table and gone to a fast food restaurant. This is how bad it was. Beware the bayou pasta and beware the shrimp because it is cold. When complaining, I received an apology and that's it. No money off, no offering of a free dessert. Also, I felt like I was at dick's last resort because of our smart-mouthed waiter. My salad had rotten lettuce and the dressing was basically water, not a vinaigrette at all. My husband's burger was so dry and my friend's chicken sandwich was inedible - tough and weird tasting. The atmosphere of this place makes everyone think they are having fun, but the food will make you sick, then when you see the bill you will be angry. Don't waste your money it is a rip-off!.

We waited over an hour to be seated outside, and our service and food was TERRIBLE. The waiter was overly rude, and even made fun of us for not drinking alcohol. I can't stand this, and I almost walked out. Do not push drinks on anyone, you don't know why they are not drinking, it could be a health problem, as it was in our case! He told us it isn't Burger King, and then used this as our nickname and was very rude. My pasta was beyond watery and had fatty bacon pieces FLOATING in the watery "sauce" that was supposed to be a cream sauce. The chicken was not chicken breast, but instead was deli sliced chicken that was bad quality. I was so disappointed. My boyfriend's sandwich was bad, and the burgers my friend's had were declared as worse than fast food. This is not worth the time and REALLY EXPENSIVE PRICES!!!!

My family and I went to Margaritaville for the experience and the atmosphere that goes along with the restaurant. We waited almost two hours to get a seat during peak vacation time in the evening. The food was average, but the service was great. Order the coconut shrimp with glass of lone palm ale. It was loud even on the second level, but you can't beat the tropical feel to the restaurant. The food here was hardly worth the wait. I understand that the main thing about margaritaville is the atmosphere, but the atmosphere doesn't mean jack when you have to sit outside. The waitress was nice and helpful, but the food was only par...and at these prices the food should be better than average. The food was kitschy...or, what you should expect from a tourist restaurant. Anyhow, don't wait more than 30 min for a seat...it's really not worth it.

Yes music is loud, Stilts man is very entertaining, volcano is great. My kids love going but know to expect a wait even with reservations. Food is good but not exceptional. My girlfriend and I have been to Margaritaville in SC 4 times in the past 2 years! Each time we were seated in a different area, which has allowed us to view the atmosphere from different locations. We've never been disappointed and absolutely LOVE the place. First of all, it is a themed restaurant so the long waits are expected! It's well worth it! The music is loud and the food is a bit pricey. But that's also due to it being a themed restaurant. The atmosphere is FANTASTIC and full of entertainment. The hourly sing along and hurricane Myrtle show is awesome! Visiting Margaritaville is always the highlight of our trip! We have plans of visiting again in Sept of 2009. We'll probably eat at this restaurant everyday twice a day, for it's worth it! The South Pacific BBQ Ribs are to die for and the margarita's are the best! Would highly recommend to anyone and have! My husband, our two children and I had lunch at Margaritaville on a Tuesday. We arrived shortly after they opened, and were one of the first groups seated. Our son wanted to sit in a booth "inside the boat." We were told that would not be possible because that table is reserved for parties of six. Our server insisted the restaurant would be full in 30 minutes with a waiting line. Not even close. By the time we left, nobody had been seated in the boat, and in fact, there were several open tables in the restaurant. My husband and I agreed that Jimmy would have said, "Sure, sit wherever you'd like." The food was average at best, but we love the atmosphere. The woman in the gift shop was the most pleasant employee we encountered.

I love this website & I visit it quite frequently. I love to read people's reviews. However, whenever I read some of the posted revies of Margaritaville, I was amazed. This restaturant is clearly my favorite, no competition. I love it more than anything I have in my city, or any of the 56 cities I've been too. Whenever I planned my trip to Margaritaville, I knew that there was going to be a wait. Whenever I made the reservation the day before, they told me I could still have a wait no matter if I had a reservation. In result, I came prepared. Me & my husband had came prepared to shop. But, we didn't have too! We arrived at 4:00, the time I had made my reservation. We were expecting a wait, since there was quite a few people there. But, the very polite & handsome waitor came & took us to one of the best seats in the place. He sat us on the boat. Whenever we sat down, we were very glad about the view that we had recieved. We got to look at the lake & the fountains. We saw the boat that gave people rides. We could see the kids having fun at the new amusment park. [Pavillion]. It was without a doubt, amazing. Everyone in the attraction [Broadway at the Beach] looked very happy & pleased to be there. We could hear all the athentic music that was playing in the stores, & we could even hear the fish flopping in the water below. Our waitor quickly handed us our menu & i skimmed it. Everything looked excepional, authentic, tasty & delicious. We had defintily came with an empty stomach. For starters, we decided on the Jamaican Mistaica Wings. They were delicious, fantastic, anything adjective there is too name a wonderful starter. They tasted just like something you would get out of Jamaica, they were without a doubt, amazing! The habañero- honey sauce was GREAT. Along with the mango dipping sauce & cucumber sticks. If you haven't tried this & you are planning a trip to Margaritvaville, GET THIS!! I wanted to order it over & over & over & over & over again. For our second food, we got Filé Gumbo. It was exceptional. Probably better than the best Gumbo they serve in Georgia. It was better than the kind served at Bobby Flay's restaurant. No lie. The shrimp was plump as a grape & the flavor was fonominal. The crab was delecious! There was no words to describe it, unless you've tasted heaven. The andouille sausage was better than any sausage I've ever tasted. The chicken must have came from the finest chickens in all of SC. The rice was cooked to perfection, tasted like a perfectionast Chinese chef had prepard it. The spices & bit off heat set it off. I would reccomend this to anyone!! The third food I tried was the Coconut Shrimp. YUM! This is now my favorite food & I will only eat it from Margaritaville. It tasted AMAZING. The breading was perfect. Props to the chef! The orange maramalade horseradish was amazing, I loved every bite more & more. Whenever It was all gone, I could've cried. The fresh veggies tasted like they had been planted, grew & harvested right in the kitchen. They were fresh & tasteful. I ♥ Jimmy Buffet! Our fourth food was off the "Grille". It was the BBQ Ribs. Oh My lord, this was tasty. For starters, the sauce was better than my mama's & she one first place in the fair 17 times! I could never taste anything better than that. I chose the South Pacific Sauce, & i Don't regret it. I got a half rack, but then I ordered another full rack. The meat was practically falling of the bone, it made my mouth water like a waterfall. Oh Lord. Oh lord. Oh lord. The Chocolate Hurricane is to die for. I loved it, & I will never taste anything like it again. I can guarantee that. The warm, chocolate brownies were warm & melted in your mouth. I loved this. Never take it off the menu! Never Neveerr. I will have to killl you. Kidding! The atmosphere was the best. I loved it. thanks for a great time.

Atmosphere is very party like. Staff tries to make it festive. Food is fair...prices are high...The music is nice...but so LOUD you cannot talk to staff...or hear them...or to the person sitting next to you. Really like the music as I said...but dear Lord...you will be deaf.

We have eaten at margarittaville several times. It never fails to amuse me when the "hurricane party warning" comes on with the weather channel's jim cantore, followed by the giant rum hurricane in the blender! I love watching the tourists smiling and laughing! the service there is always good and the food is tasty. The volcano nachos are a great value and nicely done. I have only had a cheeseburger in paradise but it was your average $10 burger and fries; it was fine. On my birthday they brought me a lovely dessert. Locals do get discounts there and it is a fun place to go. The only drawback I see is that it is very loud if you are trying to have a normal conversation; but just for food and some fun, definitely go there! .

This is the place to be a on any given night at myrtle beach for the family. We have been going now for the past 5 years. It is always on our list to hit. The atomsphere, partying, mixer, the music is great for all ages (toddler to adult). The food is great and the people are the best. My kids are 12 and 15, this is a great place for them to have fun. Great memories!.

The first time it was a nice experience but the other 3-4 times not so good. I hate jimmy buffet's music so that's a downer. Those people that work their must be saints to put up with that crap ad nauseum. Bar overpriced but nice array of drinks. Food has been good, but nothing special..

We go every year and can't imagine missing a trip! This is the one place we as a family can go and be completely happy. The kids aren't ready to go as soon as they finish eating so the adults have time to enjoy their food without being rushed. Our favorite is the over the top blender. If only I could have one that size in my house! We've never been disappointed during any of our dining trips. Can't wait to go back. Sounds like it is time for a weekend trip to the beach!

My roomate and i went to Margaritaville in myrtle beach for a late night meal and entertainment and thought it was great. We go often because we go to college nearby and have enjoyed it everytime! The people that work there are always on top of things and the Volcano Nachos are great! Would highly reccomend that if you are looking to split a meal with a group of people, its huge! And the band, cant remember the name, that played on dec. 4th was absolutely AMAZING! The only thing i would reccomend is actually putting what band is playing when on the website because i will come back anytime they were playing.

This is a great place if all you want is to listen to music and watch stilt walkers move around. The food was awful and not presented as advertised. The waiter was some smart alec kid with a poor attitude. He couldn't get the order or the silver ware right. Some manager came by and said "I was going to ask if everything is alright" but knew it wasn't and just walked away. Small portions to boot. If you want a carnival atmosphere this the place...if you want decent food and service it's not.

My daughters and I ate at the restaurant in Cancun. My daughter and I ordered coconut shrimp. It was the worst coconut shrimp we ever ate. When we bit into the shrimp it was very gummy. We didn't even hardly see any shrimp at all.....it was mostly coconut. We were very disappointed in the meal.

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years, but this will be our last! My sister called in April for the call ahead seating since we had a large party of 15. The day before our seating, my sister called to confirm our call ahead seating at n7:30 and they said we should check in at 6 and would be seated around 7:30. We also had some prople with medical conditions that required them to eat regularly and let the staff know this. We arrived at 6, checked back in at 7. We spoke with the manager and let him know. He said to check back in at 8:30. We did and they told us it would be another hour. In the mean time, friends of ours walked in at 7 without calling ahead and with a party of 8 and were seated by 8:30. Still at 9:30 we were not seated, we had spoke with 3 managers and were basically told too bad, they do not need your business. At 10:00 we were finally seated -- 3.5 hours later. Our friends told us that many tables were empty and not bused for over 20 minutes. This was disrespectful to us and completely uncalled for. The one manager said he would take care of us and he gave us the 10% AAA discount. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!

Every time we go to Myrtle Beach, I make my husband take me here. The food is awesome, service is excellent, the band is great, it's an overall good time. We'll be heading there next week and I can't wait. This place rocks!!! Tip...wait until after the dinner crowd to go, it's more fun because all the families with small children are gone by then and that's when the band plays.

I can't understand most of the reviews. The food is average and the prices are a bit above average. What bothers me most though is if you can't carry on a conversation with the people at your table and the staff can't hear you place your order the music is too loud.

I like music but I like to talk with the people at my table also.

I've been twice. Once right after it opened and then again a coupleof months ago. Nothing had changed. Never again.

When my friend, her family and I visited Myrtle Beach, we waited until the last day to visit Margaritaville. I ordered a virgin strawberry margarita because i'm too young to drink. I also ordered a burger tat had the hickory sauce on it and it was amazing. Everything was great and I will definitely come back! Thanks for an amazing time!

This is a silly place with lots of noise. The server was not happy to see us AT ALL. We waited and waited, finally the girl who had walked passsed us 20 times said, " I'll be with you in a minute." She could have said that a half hour earlier and we would have felt better. All the bad music and fake boat stuff aside, the food is really good. Not much of a selection but the few things they serve are good.
