I truly enjoyed the few times that I have had to stop @ Jay's. While stoping by with my parents I can say it is a place for all peops who are old enough to enjoy beer, food and a good time. I enjoyed the variety of music that was played, dancing of all kinds. But most of all I enjoyed getting to know the people of the small town of Little River. Oh and one more thing, the cook was on time everytime. Good food.... ref: 27099

Moved here from Raleigh, NC at the end of 2005 and soon found my favorite local hangout. I love live bands and Jay's usually has one at least three nights a week. In addition, Jay and Donna (his sister) are very community oriented and freely donate to local charities and causes. If you become part of their family you have found people who will be there for you. The food is always good. The prices are reasonable. The music does evolve if you are a music lover who is paying attention. Most of the complaints I hear about the bands are from people who are too busy talking to pay any attention to what or how the bands are playing and only recognize if it has a beat they like. It is a smoking establishment and that is one of the reasons I patronize it regularly. Smokers should have a place they can enjoy themselves too! I still believe in live and let live (or die) as an individuals right to make their own choices. Everyone doesn't have to be like me or you either. Lighten' up people, relax and enjoy life! ref: 27094

A great time, entertaining characters and an awesome DJ. The bathrooms are gross but they are working on cleaning them up. Would definitely go back! ref: 26584

Jays is consistantly an all around good experiance for me and my husband. The food is great. The staff is exceptional. Real good live music several days of the week. Feels like home.. ref: 26310

The bathrooms (especially the men's) are absolutely disgusting...have seen the same blood, snot, & God only knows what on the walls for the past year or more. ref: 26210

Not so crasy about the bands could be better on instead of those redneck bands you been having...but love kareoke night wirh capt ron..hes the best dj on the beach and good looking to....if I was you I would make sure you keep a good thing .he makes sure he has a varitey of music and everyone has a good time and cant wait til the next time hes there.....just do away with tbe smoking.....i love jays.... ref: 24702

Jays Is not only a fun place with Live music as well as Kareoke, but I have to say they have the best Chicken Salad I have ever eaten! The Staff is friendly and the prices are really good:) We had a blast and will definetly go back! ref: 24506

I love their wings, I always get them there and the staff is very friendly. restrooms are clean and so is the seating area. Love it when they have karokie nite. ref: 23812

My wife and I stopped in for a bite to eat and a beer and found the typical bar atmosphere to be pleasant. We are not smokers, but this is a smoking establishment and we knew that as we entered. If you don't want people smoking around you, go elsewhere. Otherwise, the locals we encountered at the bar seemed friendly and the service, food and prices were about what we had expected. The folks there appeared to be nice and if you're looking for a bar with friendly people and good value food, give Jay's a try. ref: 21769

Jays is awesome place to be, you will always meet great people there the food is awesome and he has the best band on friday nights, Silent Partner. Come out and meet Jay he is probably one of the best guys you will ever meet. ref: 20167

I love going to Jay's on Wednesday night to hear live blues by Smokehouse Brown. The band is awesome. Millie is the best bartender anywhere and the prices are more than fair. ref: 15365
