Loved this place. Husband and brother in law stopped in at least once a day for ice cold beer on our vacation.The bartenders and the locals were great gave tips and advice for our first time trip to Mrytle. The food looked wonderful but we never stayed long enough to eat. The bartender who went by (country) was fast,friendly,fun..Thanks for making our 20 th anniversery trip feel like we were at our local bar. Hope to see them all again. ref: 26036

We recently moved to the Myrtle Beach area and had lived for a few months in North Myrtle Beach. As we lived two blocks from Main St., we were able to walk to the OC Cafe. Chris and the other bartenders were extremely helpful and friendly.
They don't cater to NMB Bike week people nor SOS (Society of Stranders) people, so you can expect the same atmosphere and music every day without dealing with a bar packed with tourists. The free jello shots are very good and the food is very good. Compared to other "local" bars we've been in, their liquor prices are a bit high, but I wouldn't let that deter me from the great conversations we've had at the bar. ref: 25912

We are more than pleased. It is the nicest place to go after a day at the beach. They may not be the cheapest find but they are close, but they are the best! We wondered down the avenue and ended up the Cafe. The sole bartender was phenomenal as all as the chef who came from the back to take our order. God food, GREAT service.Others joined them as the bar grew crowded, They ended or dinner with free jello shots and advice. LOVE the place, definitely recommend it to all. Yes, this is a bar with a restaurant attached. Bartenders Chris, Brian, Ron and Chef Ryan are very friendly and the food is great. Go in, sit at the bar or a booth, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of people enjoying the establishment. They don't cater to whatever event is happening on any given weekend, they just offer you a friendly staff, great food and classic rock music with a free jell-o shot. Seriously, I've lived in this area for quite some time and this is the best bar/restaurant you will find in North Myrtle Beach. ref: 25269

Yes, the bartenders my wife and I have dealt with (Chris, Ron, Brian) are extremely friendly and make everyone feel at home in their restaurant/bar. The food is good, but it's the service and employees who make the establishment a great place. It's a fun place to meet new people who may or may not be locals if you choose to sit at the bar. Again, although the food is good and the prices are fair, we have returned several times because of the friendy employees. The menu has many options and will appeal to everyone. Whether you have a family with children or have all adults, this restaurant will leave you yearning for more of this type of restaurant. ref: 25044

The staff are the friendliest around. The number of selections for the food, for a small place, is excellent and the quality is top notch. The place reminds one of the NYC bars and restaurants. ref: 24976

My son and I stopped in the International Cafe just for a few beers and to play darts. Bartender Ben took very good care of us, we had such a good time together, my husband and son went back the next day. We didn't order food, so I don't know how that was, but we enjoyed playing darts and sampling the beers. ref: 24947

We stopped there on 3-11-12 at about 5 PM and were the only customers in the restaurant. That's not usually a good sign, but the good reviews prompted us to give it a try as we live nearby.
Other than the long bar, there is only one row of very hard and very flat wooden bench seated booths. Obviously, the service, length of time to be seated and noise level were very good as we were the only customers. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of food, though. My wife and I ordered two different roast beef meals and the food was excellent. The string french fries were better than other fries except for fresh cut fries. The cost for the food was lower than what we would have expected. If we go back, we'll likely sit at the bar as the wooden bench seats of the booths were very uncomfortable. ref: 24789

Stopped by with my girlfriend at midnight on memorial day. Got quesadilla, wing and chilli chest fries. Everything was excellent. Bartender (chris) was quick and on his game. Would definitely come back.

This is a pub atmosphere, and it was great!! The food was awesome and the service was extrodanary!! I would recommand this place to anyone. My friend and I were down in Myrtle Beach for two weeks and by the end of the trip we felt like the locals in this fine establishment!! Thanks for the great time!! ref: 21238

We arrived at around 12:00 a.m. ( It was close to our hotel and we were hungry). Truthfully, I've never seen a more violent scene. We saw two gentlemen that were there having a beer I believe they were brothers. They were jumped on by this guy that was just completely rude. They had no security there and my wife and I just felt uncomfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the International Cafe two nights. The food was exceptionally well prepared, the service was excellent and the ambiance was soothing and warm. We enjoyed the generous portions the next day for lunch and they were just as tasty as the night before. We will be sure to go there next year when we go to Myrtle Beach, you can be sure of that! ref: 2842

International offers a small but varied menu. Specials are available often so please ask. My wife and I have tried several of their offerings and are quite fond of their Italian dishes. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Not an expensive 4 star restaurant but a fun, comfortable place to go. ref: 2461
