Have visited Hot Stacks now for over ten years, we have received the same quality year after year. We live in anderson s.c. And I look forward to my trip to the beach because of the breakfast at Hot Stacks. I love over-easy eggs and have never been disappointed. Always hot, always good! if you do encounter a problem ,ask to speak with the owner(steve), he is always in the restaurant, often sitting across from the register.

Had breakfast there this morning. Pancakes were ok. But, I had to cut the pancakes with a knife...since when did you need anything but a fork to eat pancakes. :-/ eggs were perfect, soft scrambled. Great portion though.3 eggs looked like 3 eggs.

My husband and I ate there twice this past weekend. The food was to die for, especially the fresh fruit, and the bill wasn't too expensive. We will definitely be eating there again in the future!

Have visited this establisnment for a number of years and never has service like I had the other day. The waitress looked as if she was high or something. Smelled horrable of cig. smoke. Took forever for her to even take our order. (party of 3) When the food arrived found a lonf blonde hair in our food. Needless to say the waitress was a blonde. She was very rude during the whole process. At check out I was told her name was Niki. I will never visit this establishment again because of her.

This is a good stop for family type groups. Lots of room, good value, and a big menu for tough to feed kids. I was a bit disapointed with the fruit pancakes as I am usd to having my fruit cooked in the pancakes. The service was quick and friendly. The price for the food we had was fair. Overall a good/but not great breakfast stop.

We are locals and really like our Sunday Breakfast @ Hot Stacks. We especially like our waittress, Brandee who we ask for every time. I love the waffles and usually get them everytime. I recommend them to all that visit M.B. knowing they will have good food and nice people to serve them.

We went there to get a light breakfast and was shocked at the prices. I had 2 pancakes, a piece of sausage and milk and my wife had a waffle and juice and the bill was over $20.000!!!! Obviously this place does not want to cater to the locals. Golden Griddle here we come!

My family and I went to this restaurant today - which happens to be my birthday. I was very dissapointed when I went to pay for the bill and told the lady that it is my birthday and asked was there a discount (I had heard you get free pancakes on your birthday) and she said "Aww, you should have told your server - she would have brought you out some strawberry pancakes . . ." Well, I didn't know that - why couldn't she have just taken the whopping $3.60 off my bill for the short stack of pancakes I ordered - cheaper than the order of strawberry pancakes they would have given me if I told the server! She was rude and pretty much got my day off to a dissapointing start. Needless to say - she ticked me off enough that we won't be returning to their restaurant again. That is sad to lose a customer over $3.60.

Stack's is by far the best place for breakfast. The food is absolutely wonderful. It's our family tradition to go there for breakfast every time we're at the beach, which is at least 5-6 times a year. Something is wrong with whomever doesn't enjoy this place.

Read a lot about this place before going there for breakfast during a recent golf trip with my two sons. Pancakes average, Coffee flavoured with something ... not sure what, sausage patties dry and tough. Long line up to pay bill after disappointing meal.
