This restaurant is as close to Germany as you can get without actually going there.
The authentic food, German beverages and staff are A+. Live entertainment, something that is rare for a restaurant in the Myrtle Beach Area but a really nice touch. A must for vacationers and locals alike!!

I have to agree with the above review. Our first experience there was novel as the 'entertainer' WAS funny but very loud. Table conversation was minimal at best because we couldn't hear each other & the place was pretty empty. The food was authenticly German.
Our second trip (6 months later) we opted for bar seating as we didn't want to be 'loudly entertained' but needed a schnitzel fix. The restaurant was very busy and the dishes we had were thoroughly overcooked.
There won't be a third trip for awhile.

It is impossible to eat and talk at this restaurant. There is only one man singing and making music, but he sounds like a big brass band and it is not at all pleasant. We had eaten here in the past, but this last year vowed never to go again. Our guests were very dissappointed after we had told them how much fun it was. The noise was much too much and the food was mediocre. ref: 36 |
