My wife and I always have at least one lunch at Hamburger Joe's when visiting the beach.. I ordered wings on my first visit, they were so good, I have never tried the burgers...We prefer the old location, but the view of the marsh from all tables on the back porch more than make up for it..GO AND ENJOY...

Was highgly recommened to try the new one in Surfside because the North end is supposedly awesome....small menu, small burgers for the price, no alcohol on Sunday, however, AWESOME wings!! It should be called Joes Wing Shack or somethin'--either that or work on the burgers....

I came to North Myrtle, for the first time, with a group of friends to do a little Christmas shopping. I wasn't overly pleased that we had to stop shopping, pile into the SUV, and drive out of our way to eat burgers at a place I had never heard of (mind you I was shopping!) but WOW was it worth it!! If I didn't think my friends would regard me as a pig I would have ordered 2 burgers! I guarantee I'll be back!

The best hamburger in Myrtle Beach, hands down. Or rather, hands holding a napkin, which you'll need, especially if you get your burger the RIGHT way: chili, onions, mustard, slaw. Oh man, I'm going to have to go back soon, this is making my mouth water.

My daughter and I have heard so much about the place that we intentially went for lunch this August. We could have gotten a better hamburger at McDonalds. We were so disappointed and the price was outrageous for what little bit of food we received. We expected a nice quarter pound of beef, maybe the cook was running short that day.

Sorry, not impressed!

My wife and I live here. This is a must place to dine. The cheeseburgers are great. Do not forget to try their B-Que sandwich (get slaw, but get it on the side).

Also Joes gold wings are to die for.

We loved the old location, but the new place has a killer view on the back porch of the marsh.

Prices always can not be beat.

Bring your family, and drink a cold beer for me!

My family & I found this quaint little hamburger joint about 13 years ago. It is a regular stop of ours now & our grown children still go there when they are on vacation. We have recommended it to many friends who frequent it as well. Best hamburger for the price. Good change from the other restaurants that charge way too much. BITE MY BUNS!

My family and i have been to Joes quite a few times. The hamburgers are delish! and a good treat in the winter is the chili...the best ever! I love the surroundings. The last time we were there, a squirrel was on the outside deck...it was just so peaceful and i loved the environment. i would def. recommend this place for anyone!

The burgers rank right up there with the best you'll find. Love the onion rings. This has become a must-stop on every trip to the beach.

Just built a brand new building with a tin roof and all wood interior and a larger bar basically across the street (Not Joes Bar and Grill). Excellent food, great waitresses (very beautiful at that), wings to die for (you might loose some tastebuds if you get the HOT sauce which they call hot for a reason), burgers are great just order a double cheeseburger if the 1/4 pound regular isnt enough for ya. Also try the chillicheese fries. The backdeck for outdoor seating has a view of a small lake with fountain and only 30 yards away is a perfect view of the marsh in windy hill.

Went there twice in a week. The second time we had a great time, but I left some Samson Sauce which I bought on the table. I then left town and thought It was gone. My family went by there a few days later and the staff remembered me and my wife. They had my sauce. Samson sauce on a burger with some wings and onion rings.

Never thought cole slaw belonged on a chesseburger until I had Joe's. Do yourself a favor and order them "all the way" you will not be disappointed. Onion rings, wings and fries are all great. Can't speak to the other menu items, because we just love those burgers.

Used to be one of the best kept secrets in Myrtle Beach, but not any longer. Great place to take the family to enjoy a great burger and wings. Value for your dollar won't be beat anyplace else. One of the first stops we make in Myrtle Beach and we have been coming there from Ohio for 18 years. And even to this day my kids who are 21, 24, and 27 still look forward to it with their families......be sure to visit and ENJOY !!!!!!!

Casual atmosphere and a good value. Great place for family looking for a good hamburger centric meal at a good price. The burgers are the thin style so don't go here if you like thick burgers, if your hungry make sure you order two or get lots of toppings, they are good. I liked this better than river city but not as well as ron jons for burgers, both of the other two have thicker style burgers.

If you are looking for simplicity...you will find it here. About 9 sandwiches to choose from and 3 appetizers. Located in an old small plantation bungalow type house. Rocking chairs on the outside if you have to wait to get seated. Casual. Also serves beer, wine & cocktails.
