We have eaten here a few times. My husband (being from California) Loves quality Mexican. We enjoy the food very much. However, the last time we ate here cactus was an ingredient in one of the dishes and they were out. No discount on the dish. Other than that excellent!

We had a fantastic hodaily at Beachside during early September. The house was equipped with everything we needed a real home from home and was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, being right on the beach but also a short walk to shops, cafes and a pub. The footbridge across the River Adur to Shoreham town is currently being replaced, but there is a regular shuttle bus in service. Thanks, Rae we can't wait to go back! lablos

I have never written a review of a restaurant before but my experience at Habaneros last evening is worth sharing. My wife and I had been there once before and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was good and we liked the outdoor seating area. We returned last night for dinner and we will not be back. The food was ok but our experience definitely left us with a bad taste in our mouths. My wife ordered a regular size Texas margarita which is basically a margarita with Grand Marnier. This sounded good to me but I wanted a Monster Margarita which is very large and obviously costs a bit more ($12) but according to the menu is not available "Texas" style. So I ordered the Monster Margarita and asked for 1 shot of Grand Marnier with it. I knew this would up the price a bit but I was not prepared for what happened next. We got our bill and they charged us $24 for my margarita! My one shot was the cost of the entire drink! I knew this couldn't be right. I asked our server about it and he said that this is the cost for a Texas Monster Margarita which isn't even on the menu and not what I ordered. I explained to him that I ordered a margarita with the one shot but he basically told me that when you order a Monster Margarita with Grand Marnier , this is what you get, this is what it costs, and he couldn't do anything about it. So I got curious and went up to the bar and asked how much a shot of Grand Marnier is. The bartender told me the price of the shot which was not even close to $12 (it was around $5 or $6) and I then explained the situation to her. She was very helpful and took my bill into the restaurant to try to help get things resolved. She came out with her manager following behind her. The manager said not one word to us but expressed her anger at the bartender, in front of us, for trying to help. We were stunned. The bartender apologized and explained that they wouldn't be doing anything to resolve our issue even after she had tried to make things right. She was very nice and obviously embarrassed that she was not able to fix things and because she had been scolded by her manager in front of customers. I am actually pretty upset at myself for not going inside, finding the manager, and pushing the issue further but at that point we just wanted to get out of there and never come back and we didn't want to get the bartender in any more trouble. I never thought I would be able to say I was overcharged for not only a drink I didn't order but a drink that didn't even exist according to the menu. Most of all, (and this far overshadows the fact that I was overcharged) I can't believe the way the situation was handled (or not handled) by our server and management. I can honestly say until last night I have never been in a situation where a restaurant flat out refused to resolve a problem and where a manager could be so unprofessional and disrespectful not only to us but to her employee in front of us. We will not be taking our business there again.

Habanero's is a great resturant. My family loves it. I have never had any problems with anything. The food is really good and the salsa is incredible. The only thing i have noticed that i don't like is the bull head that is over one of the tables. It is up high so it is not staring you in the face or anything but it is kind of strange over that one table. Other than that it is a place i would recomend to anyone.

This is a great Mexican restaurant in Myrtle. Whenever we are in town, we head straight to Habanero's for their tasty food. The prices are very reasonable and helpings are large. Staff is friendly and anxious to make sure you have everything the way you request.

Can't go wrong with Habanero's. Great food, good prices and the wait staff really hustles. Atmosphere is pretty typical for a Mexican place but we really enjoy sitting on the big outside patio whenever the weather permits. We're locals and this is definitely one of our favorite places to grab dinner and a drink (or 2).

Skip every other Mexican place on the Grand Strand - Habanero's has them all beat hands down. While this place probably rates a little above a dive and is a little noisy, the food is past unbelieveable. The chicken fajitas were by far, the best I have had anywhere and I have done some traveling. The portion was quite large and just really outstanding. The chips and salsa before the meal were excellent - fresh and spot on taste. I think I would drive back from Hampton Roads just for the fajitas!

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food with outstanding service and friendly staff, this is your place in Pawleys Island. We have lived for 10 years in Texas and have eaten Mexican food everywhere from California to the Northeast to Mexico itself and it does not get any better than this. We go multiple times every time we visit Pawleys - which is several times a year - and still look forward to our next visit. Try some of their exotic dishes - some you'll get nowhere else around.

Worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The manager could not have been more rude. It was the worst experience I have ever had a restaurant. I think we would have been more welcomed at McDonald's. The deck makes it look like a fun place to be which is VERY misleading. AWFUL PLACE!!! DO NOT GO!!

We have been going to South Carolina for over 10 years and find this the best Mexican restaurant bar none. We happened upon it when they were first opened and have been enjoying it more and more each year. The owners and staff make you feel like family, as they recount your visit from the year before. The food is authentic mexican and the best you will ever have. Kid friendly environment, beer is always cold and margarita's are awesome. We will be going down this week and look forward to going there our first night.

I love Habaneros. My friend and I eat there at least once a week on our lunch break. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. We rarely have to wait long for our food, even when they are packed. I love to sit out on the deck - even in the heat of summer there is always a nice breeze to keep it cool enough to be enjoyable, even when I'm dressed in my work clothes. I absolutely love this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone.

What people don't understand about Habanero's is that THIS IS REAL MEXICAN FOOD...not Americanized Mexican. This is the real deal people, the meat is not going to taste like Taco Bell and neither is anything else. Ten years ago I met Anna, Hector, and Lupe Garcia and understood what they wanted their restaraunt to be. They have a great staff that is friendly and always on their toes. We would go to Habaneros every friday with our friends and their children. (great kids menu too) Since moving to Pittsburgh, I miss them as much as I miss their food. I also miss the atmosphere that it gave off. So all bets are on a return trip to visit with all my friends the next time I come home to Pawleys Island.

My husband and I ate here, and we both had combination dinners. the food was great, the prices were right and the service was great. We sat at the bar and our service there was fantastic. The bartender said his name was Dan, he was jovial and entertaining. We never lacked for a drink and would gladly return there as often as we can. We have also recomended Habanero's to our friends and told them to be on the look out for Dan, that they could do no wrong if he was behind the bar.

I've eaten Mexican food all over the South East - in Mexico and Texas. I absolutely think the Garcia's at Habanero's have the best, homestyle Mexican food anywhere - Ask for the smoked Habanero Salsa - it's delicious, extremely hot but well seasoned. Their Yolandas (chicken enchiladas) are better than anyone else's.

The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the deck out front. If all you want is a margarita or some nachos on the deck, go for it. If you want a real meal look elsewhere... very poor quality food preparation. I am a big fan of Mexican food, but this is one of the worst Mexican restaurants I have ever visited.
