We have visited this island for the past 10 years and we look forward to our visits to gm while spending weeks in the summer there. Love it!

I have eaten at the Giggling Mackerel for the past 4 visits to Ocean Isle. The last being July 2011. The food was good, plenty of it, and our waitress was almost over-doing it, she was so attentive. I like Calmari and also had the fried flounder, I'm not a big fan of fried food but it was not greasy and very good. A good, solid meal reasonably priced. The entertainment at the Tiki bar upstairs was enjoyable. There aren't a lot of choices on Ocean Isle but I think the GM does a good job. Beats the drive and wait at Calabash some nights! ref: 23523

We love going here, its right on Ocean Isle Beach. We usually enjoy the blackened Tuna or King Mackeral sandwich baskets. It comes with either fryes or onion rings. Their large enough that we can almost share. The baskets are a better deal than the meal. They have a upper bar that is outdoors with the tiki torches. Great Atmosphere and a great place to have a good time. ref: 19663

Absolutely love the LUNCH menu/atmosphere! Tried lunch and dinner on several occasions but lunch by far is the best (larger variety on the menu...unless you prefer all seafood and all fried! LOL) But we bought the shirts and will keep going everytime we are in that area! ref: 18187
