Love this place! We like to try new things every year on vacation but this is one place we keep on the list every year! Have pictures of my little boy with the pizza he made all by himself and now that little boy will be turning 17! Even when the kids are grown and on their own I'm sure this is one place we will be returning to!

This is one of my favorite pizza places!! I like it better than Pizza Hut and Chuck E. Cheese (I don't like Chuck E. Cheese). It still doesn't beat Hungry Howie's but it is worth trying. East of Chicago has a family friendly atmosphere and good food.

My family and I go to eat pizza here every year. Love the pizza and the atmosphere was great very kid friendly. I read the reviews and thought to myself there must be more than one restaurant because the one I ate at was fine

don't waste your time or money eating here! the restaurant was dirty at best and the pizza all tasted like it was frozen. For the price you might as well order in it would be cheaper and much better! YUCK

This is without a doubt the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life. The only reason this place is still open is because of the Chuckie Cheese like arcade games that are everywhere. My family and I ate here two days before New Years and the food was strictly mediocre at best, it was all cold, and they had absolutely no traditional pizzas(pepperoni? cheese?) out on the buffet, and although we waited twenty minutes, none was put out. We left, trying to convince ourselves that perhaps it was a bad night, and that maybe we should give it another chance sometime. That was before I started having classic food poisoning symptoms. Liquid diarrhea, vomiting, fever, needless to say, my New Years holiday was ruined. This restaurant is something of a family joke now, and whenever we have a bad food experience anywhere, we always say, "Well, at least that was better than East of Chicago!"

It was raining and my wife and 4 year old didn't want to go out in the weather. We had East of Chicago delivered to our hotel room (which is why there are 3 average left on the review because I never set foot in the place). The pizza was outstanding, some of the the best I have had in this part of the country, delivery was prompt and the pizza was still nice and hot on arival. Overall, my experience was excellent.

It was raining one evening and we were out late looking for something to eat and I have a 3 year old, whynot games and pizza. They were closing within an hour of us there but we went in anyways. It was ok, a step up from the pizza buffet place we have at home but way too expensive for what you get. It is an ok place if you have a lot of kids and trying to entertain them. We were upset they charged us full price for my 3 year old who ate all of one slice and breadstick. ( so we took some with us) getting our $$$$ worth. We should ordered delivery from somewhere else.

Don't eat here. The games you can find elsewhere for much, much cheaper, and the pizza buffet is below average, worse than any other I've been too. The only good part was a pb & j pizza, but I can make that at home. The pizza was cold and the variety was bad. The cheese was not good quality, nor were the meats. The salad bar was okay, but nothing special. The dessert pizza had one good part (see above) and the rest was very bad. I wasted my money. I thought the games could make it better, but MANY were broken, and we had to find employees (which was difficult) to give us tokens when games did not work - this happened five times! The games we did play were more than double the price of normal Myrtle Beach arcades! The tickets you receive are a joke, and the prizes are low quality at best. Please do not go here. They should close their doors and stop fooling everyone. I was SICK after I ate here, and I am not kidding. Instead, go to another pizza place and share a pizza or two, then venture downtown to the arcades. This will be much more fun and a better value!

We went here because it seemed like a good place but it was nasty. If I had walked over to the salad bar first, I would not have eaten there at all. The games as well as the food were overpriced.. I will not be back.

Went here expecting alot and did not get that much. It really was not crowded around lunchtime when we went. Food was ok, it wasn't anything extraordinary. The pizza tasted bland. It is a good place to take your kids, but I would go elsewhere if you do not have kids.

We had a great time at east of chicago and we will go back again soon! Food was amazing, and there were so many choices, I even asked for a special made pizza and they made it for me at no extra charge. That being said the staff was great, always moving, cleaning and checking up on how things were, they were just so polite. The atmosphere was great so many games for the young and older crew. So much better than chucky cheese, ci ci's or surfs up. My family and I visit the myrtle beach often, and this is one restaurant we will become requlars at, thanks so much!

Yuck! This place was not a good choice! we thought that it would be fun for iour son, but even he wasn't impressed with the food. It was bland and institutional. The games were overpriced.I expected it to be somewhat loud, so that was no surprise, but the food could have been a lot better! If you want an excellent valueAND a great pizza buffet, check out the Filling Station. It is a must visit on your trip to MB. Reasonable and delicious!

The food was delicious! The Pizza was yummy and the salad bar had a nice selection of fresh vegetables and dressings. The staff was very attentive as we never returned from the buffet to find a used plate left on our table. The atmosphere was kid friendly as there were plenty of "arcade-type" games. It was a bit noisy due to the games. We had a buy one get one coupon so the value was definitely there. We went at 2:00p.m. so there was plenty of seating, however even though it was between lunch and dinner there was plenty of choices, all nice and hot.

What impressed us most about this restaurant was how clean it was. The staff was constantly cleaning and stocking the salad bar; wiping down countertops; putting out clean utensils; cleaning tables and chairs. We would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back.

We read the reviews and it appeared to be above the level of CiCi's or other pizza buffet places, we were dissapointed. It maybe because it was later, but there wasn't much of a selection/variety. As far as value for the money, I rated it it average-but only for this area, anywhere else I would have rated it below average. The kids liked playing the arcade games and we enjoyed wathing them. If you have younger children and can find coupons or take advantage of specials that they offer, it maybe ideal for a family on a tighter budget who just needs to fill up the tummy's of hungry kids.

This place was ok, nothing too grand. It's a great place to go if you have small children because they do have lots of games for them to play to get tickets and get prizes. But as far as pizza buffets go, it could have been better, I'd rather just go to the Filling Station [it's a great place to eat!]

It amazes me this place is still open. The pizza is awful, as is the pasta. I went in one day on my way home from work, around 4:45, and the pasta was dried up and sticking together. You would have thought that at this time of day, everything would be fresh for the evening meal.

I think this pizza buffet restaurant is one of the best dining values in Myrtle Beach. They had an excellent pizza bar, pasta bar, fruit and salad bar. I was told by the management that if a certain type of pizza that I liked and it was not out on the pizza bar they would make it. The food was replaced on a regular basis to keep everything fresh. The restaurant provided a very clean and pleasing atmosphere. I have had a very good experience and have returned several times since they have opened.

This was high compared to Cee' Cee's but for the beach area pretty reasonable. We arrived at about 3pm for a late lunch. Food was good, service was even better. We bought 3 game cards with our meal even though I wasnt sure I'd bother playing video games, I knew my 10 year old would play my card.

We ate outselves blind in pizza, salad and pasta, then I decided to read my book, while my daughter and her dad played the video games. They of course had a blast.

While I sat reading and nibbling on the last of my pizza, the hostess came by and asked if I'd like some coffee. I was pleasantly surprised and she brought the coffee to my table with cream and sugar. You really cant beat something like this if you have kids at the beach.

The total for 3 buffet's and three $5 game cards was about $41 but it took up several hours of the afternoon so we were paying for food AND entertainment AND we ate so much that none of us wanted dinner that night.
