We stay in North Myrtle twice a year, and Dino's is our go to spot for breakfast when visiting. Friendly, attentive service, with excellent food on a comprehensive menu. Prices are very reasonable.

Best breakfast in Myrtle Beach. This is a BREAKFAST Restaurant. Always busy and that tells you it has to be good. Why would so many people go to Dinos if it wasn't good. This has been our breakfast place for over 30 some years.

My husband and I have been going to Dino`s for over 25 years. We are going to be there in May for our anniversary and Dino`s will be our first stop. My husband gets the #30 - golfers special platter- everytime we go. The waffle that comes with it is like a taste of heaven! I have tried much of the menu and the last choice was the eggs with hollindaise sauce. Not sure what it is called exactly but it was delicious! I have the hardest time choosing what to order. I guess since we are staying 7 days I will have plenty of opprotunity to decide! We have noticed much of the same staff as was there all those years ago. Enough said- I`m ready to eat a waffle!

My family and I have been to Dino's twice. The first time the food was alright, but when we were checking out our change was short by $20.00. This can be a common mistake which we felt sure it was. Our problem was that there was no apology nor any word mentioned when we brought it to the cashiers attention..And never were we asked if we enjoyed our meal...just grabbed our ticket and money! That was around a year ago. We just went back and this is what we experienced; 1. Hostess was too business-like...not a warm welcome at all. 2. Waited too long to be waited on...others around us were waited on and served food before we were approached. 3. Cheese omelet had a small amount of cheese in the very center of the omelet. 4. Waitstaff served beverage by the top of the glass (fingers being on the rim!) 5. Prices are too high for breakfast food We have been twice...that will be all.

My husband and I discovered Dinos only a couple of years ago and are very happy we did. We visit North Myrtle Beach quite often and are going next week for a little get away. We say to each other "Are we going to Dinos for breakfast" Absolutely! The service is very good and the food is excellent. We especially enjoy the omelet. Inexpensive and huge portions. Can't wait.

An absolute pleasure to eat here. Generous portions, fantastic taste and wonderful service. We eat here everytime we visit North Myrtle Beach, which is now the last 3 summers. It is the one place, that we as a family, say we have to eat at. We are a family of 5 and everyone has something different. My son, who is 14, can usually inhale his breakfast. He is challenged to finish his meal at Dino's because of the amount of food given to him. It is sooo good that he does finish it and then goes back to hotel to take a nap. Great place, a must stop while visiting.

The week of 10/15/11 we vacationed at N. Myrtle Beach. After reading about Dinos we had to try it. From the time you enter the door someone greets you with a smile. It is obvious that the customer is first. The service is excellent. Now about the food, the best belgim waffels we have ever eaten, light and fluffy. The omlets are to die for! Breakfast was sooo good, we went back the next day. Are you coming to Myrtle Beach? Now you know were to eat breakfast-DINOS!

I was so excited to try this restaurant because it has the look of the older establishments. We stopped by on our way out of town and I was so disappointed. We were seated quickly in what appeared to be a room added onto the restaurant. Our waitress took our order, but that seemed to be the last time she stopped by. Another waitress brought our food, but our waitress never looked our way or stopped to check on us until it was time to deliver the check. The food was so so. We got bacon which came out completely curled up and the only flavor it had was grease. Grits were good, but it's hard to mess those up.

One of the best family breakfast restaurants I know of. Family members own and run the restaurant. The serving staff has very little turnover and appears very happy to be working there. Even during a recession the place is busy year around. The decor is plain and traditional. The food is traditional to exotic and excellent. The Greek Omelet is outstanding.

We three had the absolute pleasure of a great meal and experience @ Dino's in 2010 for an entire week before our golf play each day and will repeat each day again this year in August ! Yianni , our server (along with the entire staff); provides a top drawer experience, great food, friendly staff treats you as family; kudos to them all around. You will never want for anything when you go there. They even surprised me on my birthday with special pancakes!!!!!!! that tells me chapter and verse about them; and should tell you the same!

After reading the reviews we decided to try this place. We will never return as we were not impressed. We were seated quickly but asked to move tables and offered a discount for our trouble..which only ended up being 2.00 (what a joke). The #64 was overcooked to the point that it could not be cut. The chicken was as tough as leather straps. We have made better pancakes from the Hungry Jack box. The canadian bacon was nothing to write home about. The ketchup said Hinez however, seemed to be filled with another brand. I could not eat the hashbrowns that I put ketchup on as it was rancid. On another note my daughter did enjoy her baby waffle meal...thank GOD someone left happy!!!

I have been going to North Myrtle Beach every year since I was a baby (shout out to all those who remember the Barefoot RV campground). We would drive all night from Edinboro, PA and our first stop before even unloading, was always for breakfast at Dino's! 25 years later, the decor hasn't changed and the some of the faces are still familiar and that is a compliment to the restaurant. I love knowing what is waiting for me when we pull up outside. The atmosphere is beachy and comfy and the people are so friendly - definitely southern hospitality. The FOOD is delicious and served hot and fresh with inexpensive prices. It is the kind of restaurant where you can take your time and not feel rushed; the perfect way to start a day on vacation. One week until we head down for our yearly trip and you can bet I'll be stopping at Dino's! =)

I have been to Myrtle Beach 4 yrs straight and have had breakfast every morning at Dino's. The food is fantastic, the service well above average and staff friendly, The Cresent Beach Omelet is fantastic. The owner is always willing to talk and listen and always asking to make sure your breakfast was right. I live in MASS and found one of my favorite places to start my day and it's Dino's. Thank you and I can't wait till next time.

We are locals, and eat at Dino's at least once per week. Each week we look forward to the atmosphere, the great waitresses/waiters and the food, it all takes us "back in the day". This is the highlight of our week, and we lucky to be able to go any time we want to-we get there early in the morning because the tourist love it too, and we get the chance to eat there any day we want. The prices are very reasonable, and a better that the other restaurants in the area.

Don't like to spend alot for breakfast so we chose this resturant due to its $2.90 breakfast special. My youngest daughter and myself had the special (2 eggs grits and toast) and split a side of bacon. My oldest daughter had the mini waffles off the childrens menu $3.90 and my wife had the pancake breakfast.$5.50. Not bad prices but they really gig you on the drinks. We spent $15.50 on food but with 2 milks 1cola and 1 water our bill cam to $28,87. As for the food it was eatable but nothing to write home about. Waitress was grumpy. No wait to be seated. A breakfast restaurant no very busy at 10:00am ? I will not eat there again, EVER.

I read all the good reviews for Dino's and I'm glad I did! The food and service was good. The only problem was that Mom and stepdad's grits were a bit runny. Other than that, the food was delicious!

Been here many times - love it. go back at least once per yearly trip to MB. This year the rather large and loud person sitting outside selling her tickets nearly cost Dinos my party of 6. She mistakingly thought my husband was leaving the facility and began ranting about the things she had to give away for "free." When he didn't bite she yelled to me across the parking lot that he was giving away $70. I told her I didn't care. Then she got nasty and would have gotten in my face except for the distance she would have had to move her large self. She's gotta go. If she's sitting there the next time I'm in town - we will keep on driving. Dinos - please get some folks to man that booth who match your friendly and sweet attitudes!

This is a well known restaurant, it's very busy and has a following on a historical basis and, of course, has name dropping quality. There will be a 15 to 45 minute wait during peak times. It serves breakfast and you can only do so much with that. However, I've been there multiple times, only when others insist on going. Each time the waffles and pancakes have been overdone and a little tough. So I prefer to go to other places that are much better in this regard. I won't mention other places but frankly you'll find out yourself if you just talk to others. A nice feature of Dino's is that they leave a thermos of coffe at your table, but all have free refills. The hostess staff are friendly but the wait staff are busy and aren't timely or readily available.

Fantastic place to go for breakfast! In fact we wound up there 3 times in our one-week vacation. It was that good! The staff were all fantastic to our young boys. They actually remembered their names on our second visit, and the boys drink choices on our third visit. Tops in food and tops in service. Would definitely go back over and over again!

Hands down our favorite breakfast place to eat at in NBM. The service was excellent as it always is and the food is very good for the price.

Although something very weird is that Dino's and The Plantation house of pancakes share the exact same menu and food. Not that it is a bad thing as the menu and food are both excellent, but we just found it strange that they were axactly the same.

Just informing those who might be considering one or the other...it really dosen't matter as they will have the exact same food and prices...

After reading the other reviews, I was looking for a top notch breakfast location. I was particulary interested in pancakes, and this being a pancake house, how could I lose? There were four of us in our party on 6/3/08. My idea of pancakes - thick and fluffy. Instead, I got flat pancakes! The sausage links had a strange flavor to them. I left the ratings as average since the results with my group was nothing special. Better pancakes were gotten at IHOP in NMB and also Sunshine Pancake House in Calabash during the week of our stay. This was a disappointment to my group.

You are usually greeted at the door with a 'Smiling and Cheerful' Barbie!! She is one of the most pleasant people I have ever met. Some of the other workers are Christie (our favorite), Linda, Sharon, Connie, Michelle, Jenette, Lorie, and Yahnie. Again, when you visit Dino's, you will see why ALL the locals go there!!!!

My DH had the Golfer's breakfast ~ lots of good food (eggs, pancakes, etc.) Would def. recommend going there if you visit MB! Between this place and the Spring House, these are the only two places I'd eat breakfast at in MB (besides Cracker Barrel/Bob Evans).

What a waste of time. My wife and I whom are new to the area stopped in for a late breakfast. We were seated and our waitress took our order. We ordered coffee. My wifes initial cup had lipstick around the rim...gross. So we just swapped out a cup off another table. My wife put cream into her coffee...it curdled....disgusting. So I wanted to leave...but my wife insisted on waiting...waiting...waiting to tell the waitress....whom seemed annoyed, and just swapped out the cream anf cups form another table and walked away...needless to say, we left. The atmosphere was dirty, and the place was filled witha bunch of sloppy fat people. So if you are neat and like a clean environment, you won't like this place..

Folks, What can I say. We have all been to this type of resturant. A lot to eat for a good price. This describes Dino's. The breakfast are big and are priced reasonable. Would I say that Dino's has the best breakfast I have ever had? No, I wouldn't. The breakfast was on par with other breakfast establishments I have eaten at (Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, etc). However, I wouldn't say that Dino's has the best breakfast on Myrtle Beach. Its worth a visit because the place has been serving breakfast forever and therefore has a strong following of past customers. However, don't expect to have the best breakfast ever as other reviews might make you think you are going to experience.

My wife and I visited Cherry Grove this past weekend for a short getaway. We lived in Myrtle Beach for over 5 years back in the early 80's and would occasionally eat breakfast at Dino's on Saturday's. It's been over 22 years since we've visited North Myrtle Beach. We decided to eat at Dino's "once again" on Saturday morning for old time sake. It was like travelling down memory lane and brought back so many fond memories. The atmosphere and service was exactly the same as it was back then - GREAT! This place has outlasted them all. If you want a great breakfast, you can't go wrong with Dino's. And we love the fact that they haven't changed the sign out front - it's an icon.

In one week, we ate breakfast here 3 times. That's saying alot for a town that has tons of breakfast restaurants! Their waffles are "malted" whatever that means, and they are wonderful, especially the "pecan waffle", which is covered in pecans. My husband says the pancakes are the "best he's ever eaten". He is 48 years old and has eaten alot of pancakes in his life, so I don't know what they do. This place is the best! I sure do wish we could go there again tomorrow but we're back in MIchigan now. Back to ordinary waffles and pancakes....

Drove 15 miles from our Hotel because of the reviews posted here and were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and, after we had given the menu the once over, ordered immediately. I was shocked at how quickly the meal arrived. Food was GREAT. I can never be satisfied by the way restaurants cook my "over easy" eggs - but these were PERFECT! Could not have cooked them better myself. The only snafu was the very courteous waitress forgot to bring my side order of grits with my meal but when she checked back and i reminded her, she apologized and brought a very large bowl full out immediately. We plan to go back before we leave MB.

This is my favorite place for breakfast! The service is the best around and the food is superb!! The pancakes are delicious and the omlettes are huge and filled to the max. The only drawback is that Dino's still has a smoking section that is almost never full. If they would lose the smoking section, then everyone could get seated quickly, AND we wouldn't be subjected to unnecessary risks for lung disease. Sit way on the opposite side of the smoking section and at least you can fully enjoy your delicious meal. The bathrooms are clean and you can see Dino in the restaurant keeping an eye on things. I highly recommend that you give it a try.

we have been traveling to myrtle beach for several years with several people from zanesville ohio. Every day many of us enjoy Dino's Rest. before we hit the links. Every year they remember who we are and the food and service continue to just get better. Dino's is one of the breakfast diners you just can't miss when visiting Myrtle Beach.

Excellent service and food. The waitress checked on us several times and everything went well. Will do Dino's again when in the area looking for a good breakfast.

I have been traveling to Myrtle Beach for well over 10 years in the summer and we begin every morning at Dino's as we are heading out to play a round of golf. We usually have a group of 4 or more golfers and arrive very early in the morning. We are always greeted and seated by a smiling face and made to feel like locals. The food is great and the service is also outstanding. I recommend the waffles with the Dino's logo made into the waffle. If you don't care for waffles, just pick anything because it is all GOOOOOOD!!!! I can't wait to get to Myrtle Beach next month and begin my trips to Dino's. Please don't ever change!

DINO'S is our final treat when visiting North Myrtle Beach on our annual Girls ONLY beach trip. We always save the best for last and dine there for breakfast on the morning of our departure. It is a TRADITION that will not be broken. Great Food...Great Prices....Dependable family restaurant. Our only choice for breakfast.....YO YO Beaches

My family and I have traveled to Myrtle Beach for years. Each time we have had the opportunity to eat at Dino's. The atmosphere is wonderful and the hostess could not have been nicer to us. We were seated in a timely manner and waited on the same. This is surely a great place to take a family. If I were to describe this place in one sentence it would be: "Seems like home".

Me and my family love going to Dinos every year when we're on vacation. The food is to-die-for and the service is amazing. Whenever I'm in Myrtle Beach I can't wait to go to Dinos for breakfast.

I am from Indiana and can not wait to go to Myrtle Beach every year and go to Dino's.. It is one restaurant we always eat at. The grits, and pancakes are the best on the beach.
