Was at the mall today with a friend and was ordering fries and the cashier just kind of snapped. I didn't hear him say hi I guess so he went on and on about how rude people are and nobody says hi back anymore. I told him sorry I didn't hear you and he preceded to tell me "well I said it three times"and just kept going on and on. I think he might of been a bit crazy. Well he wouldn't let it be so I asked for my money back and didn't order. I asked to talk to the manager but he just hid in back. Word of advice chef smittys stop hiring crazies. I'll never go near your restaurant again. I've never experienced something so strange like that.

I will never eat at Cheff Smitty's again...today when I ordered as I do 2 or 3 times a week at Smitty's because I work at Coastal Grand Mall and it is good food and convienient to go to for lunch; Today the man standing in front of the counter handing out samples would not give me a employee discount as we have always gotten since I have worked at the mall...He claims I did not have a card for discounts..I had my uniform on and we always eat their we are not trying to pull a fast one on him...All the other food court vendors give us a discount so we will no longer be eating at Chef Smitty's.

I recently stopped into Chef Smitty's down here in the inlet square mall, there wasnt much traffic in the mall itself but man did they have some good food. I had heard they were famous for their seafood and their sirloin burgers, but I tried their classic philly cheesesteak sandwich. It blew my mind how good it was, it was better than most places who only serve philly cheesesteaks. If you ever are riding by the mall in murrells inlet, you have to check this place out. For the value of the food, the price is unbelievable. I would def reccomend this place to anyone who wants high quality food at a very affordable price also check out the location they have at the coastal grand mall in myrtle beach.

Treated my wife and my mother to a nice lunch. We had never been to this place before and never heard of Chef Smitty's. I am usually not the type of person to eat at the chain-restaurants in shopping malls but we figured we would give this a try. I must say without a doubt Chef Smitty's was one of the BEST places to eat we have ever been to. The food was excellent, the Classic Rueben sandwich my mother had was so good and filling she could only eat half of it before she was full, same goes for the cheesburger I had and the chicken sandwich my wife had although we managed to finish our meals. The fries were fresh and delicious as well. The service was excellent and the price was not too bad for mall food. I invite anyone else who is visiting Myrtle Beach this summer to check out Chef Smitty's for great food that won't bleed your money dry.

I came to myrtle beach with a friend of mine. She was on her way to see her daughter at college and we stopped by the mall for her to return an item she had. We decided to get something to eat while we were there. She was getting her food from there and I was still looking at the other choices and came back and saw the combo specials and said I'll give it a try. I ordered the fried flounder combo. It was awsome I could not believe it . I ate every bite and the fries were good as well.I must say for the price I got the best food I have ever tasted. It was hot and fresh nothing was cold. The gentleman that took our orders was pleasing as well,he was just a joy to have serve us. If I ever get back to myrtle beach again(I WILL EAT THERE AGAIN)

Went there for the first time today. You could not find the fish on the bun. The serving was so small it was ridiculous. It was definitely a ripoff. Go to Flying Fish. You will get two meals out of one sandwich.

My husband and I were on vacation and we decided to stop by the mall to get some food we thought we would give this place a chance. I couldn't believe how good the food was. We kept going back for lunch even though it was half hour out of our way. We went in September of 2009 and we just booked our vacAtion and all we can think of is going back to get some lunch.

Chef Smity has the best food, hands down. It doesn't look appealing, but the taste far outweighs this minor setback.

Wonderful flavor with a unigue twist to a burger! Chef Smitty's Country Burger has a terrific blend of top sirloin, Italian sausage , shrimp and swiss cheese. Uncomparable to any food court food I have tasted. If you're hungry, Head to Chef Smitty's, you won't be disappointed.

My family and I had just finished with a day at the FreeStyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach and decided to stop by the mall for some late lunch. Went into the food court and saw this gentleman in a chef's jacket and a plate of what looked like sausages standing in front of Chef Smitty's. The man told us how he was actually Chef Smitty and the story behind these hot-dog sausages, and that they buy them from a German maker. My husband and I aren't big into seafood but we both ordered 2 of the hot dogs and they are DEFINITELY no Oscar Meyer/Ball Park hot dog. They are rich, juicy, flavorful - very like a keilbasa sausage blended with a hot dog.

You would not think that a hot-dog could be so impressive, but both my husband and I have not had another since because it was just too good ... everything else we've ever had is just mediocre now.

I heard Chef Smitty's was famous for Haddock Fish Sandwiches, and since I love A good fish sandwich I stopped in at their Coastal Grand Mall Food Court location to try one. It wasn't good, it was great! This happened in the spring of '08, and I've been back there for lunch three times since then. They have a varied menu, and my wife just loves the Chicken Salad Sandwich, but I always order the fish. For the money, this is the best fish sandwich you can find in Myrtle Beach. Believe me, I know my fish.
