Got in. Got seated. Then it went downhill. The server forgot things...extra butter, crackers, milk...and he seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of tables he was covering. He was nice enough, but was simply not available enough to give us the attention we deserved. The manager was also waiting on tables, which tells me they were short-handed. The cooks were slow. It took 30 minutes to get our food after it was ordered. Since the manager was tied down to a staion of tables, she was unavailable to ask us how our expeience was. Usually, Bob Evans is decent. Not this time.

I've only been to Bob Evans once...and it was here. I've heard it's good other places, but I didn't have a good experience. I was debating between a salad, and a pasta dish. I decided on the salad, but the waitress told me the pasta dish was really, really good. Had to try it. Then when I got the pasta dish, it was really cold and was disguisting. I think everybody else's food looked good, but I don't know...just that mine was to the point of not being edible. I haven't been able to talk myself into eating here again even in other locations, but I have heard that it's good :(

Outstanding! No matter which Bob Evans I have eaten at, I have always enjoyed the meal. The service exceeds the service of higher priced restaurants and the quality and quantity of food is always excellent. The staff have made Bob Evans what it is and I thank your outstanding service. Had brunch there a couple days ago. Very friendly staff. Good food. Very clean. Good menu. Well priced childrens menu. Quite. Good place to take the family. I will eat there again for sure. Most likely in the morning on our way out of town. Best dining experience since we arrived 5 days ago.

Not only was our waitress Rocky the best service attendant we've had in our short stay, but she gladly folded up all of our lawn chairs since we're waiting outside since 3am to get a piece of this action. And let me tell ya, am I lying, I was not disappointed. There was one catch though. The appetizers started off at 4 dollars. It seemed a little overpriced for Jalepeno Poppers. I mean seriously, how much does it cost for these delectable pieces of goodness??? I highly recommend stopping in regardless.

Me, my husband, two year old, and five year old ate here for the first time ever and had a great time. Our waitress Colleen was great with recommending what to order and interacting with our kids. She was very attentive. The food was wonderful. I had the western omlette with homefries. WOW! Not greasy or salty. My kids had grilled chicken strips. They were more interested in the chocolate milk. My husband ate the pulled pork sandwich on top of a heap of mashed potatoes. He loved it. Being a man he also knows his BBQ. He was very pleased. We unfortunately were too full for dessert. It looked tasty. Overall the experience was great and we will be back. Great price too and a family fun atmosphere...

I was really surprised reading some of negative reviews. I am originally from Bob Evans country in Ohio and they have always had an excellent reputation. We have never eaten at the N. Myrtle Beach restaurant but the one in Surfside on 544 is excellent.

I'm so glad we have a Bob Evans in town! It's a chain, so the food is always consitent and the atmosphere is cheerful. It's a great place to eat if you are looking for a satisfying meal. My hubby and I "fuel up" here after a long day of bike-riding. Our favorite is their Deep-Dish Dinners (Pot Roast or Chicken Noodle) - yummy and affordable! Good for families and folks of all ages. Very popular with the after-church crowd, so be prepared for a little wait on Sunday. We'll be back!

We have eaten there several times and being a handicapped person was pleased when server quickly removed a chair so my wheel chair would fit. Food sometimes a little pricey on some things but it was good and filling. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress.

Had breakfast at the port richey store and was all good. I just thought that your price is to high. I get a lot more at the cracker barrel for less and they have a nice gift shop. thank you.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of Myrtle Beach last week. My husband use to frequent the Bob Evans restaurants several years ago and we just hadn't been back in their area for awhile. Compared to what it use to be, the food was "luke warm" and very skimpy servings. We are senior citizens and don't eat a lot but it just wasn't what it use to be and the waitress just wasn't awake yet.

The person receiving and seating us, was very rude and unprofessional. A little pleasant smile never hurts and makes a person welcome. Throwing the menues on the table and turning away is not a way to keep friends or customers. Then when we paid the same person complained about the change which she had to count and again dispayed a terrible attitude like she was doing us a favor. (Satuday evening, 11 Nov 2006). Additionally the food was luke warm and the server kept forgetting to bring something to the table, and item we asked for. I will not be visiting this place again, and with personnel like this girl at the front desk you wont have to worry about customers for very long.

We go here pretty often, especially after church on Sundays, and really like the food and the prices. My favorite is their cobb salad and my husband likes their sunrise platter. Even though it's a chain and not original an original Myrtle Beach restaurant, we still recommend it for good food at good prices.
