My wife and I have always looked forward to eating at Friday's while at the beach. Last night, 5-30-2015, we visited Fridays at NMB. My wife ordered a ribeye steak and I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs. We sat at the bar and drank one beer. We weren't asked if we wanted another. We had to ask another waiter for our tea and water. Our bill was 51.00. Paid 60.00 with tip. Very dissatisfied. Will never eat there again. ref: 27932

Was given flyer by hostess stating 1/2 apps, when bill came and was charged full price we were told by manager that the apps we chose was not on the 1/2 price "list" which had never been brought to our attention. The manager was very condescending and would not honor the flyer that we received. Will never return! ref: 27919

This used to be the first place we stopped when we got into North Myrtle Beach for lunch when we arrived for our vacations, but the last three (3) times, and this was definitely our last time, the service and the food itself was terrible. Our servers each of these times were different, and we switched out the meals also each time to see if maybe it was just a particular dish that was bad. It's not, the service and food has gone way down hill, and we will not be coming back. ref: 27763

Never got seated!!! Swipes customers got to cut ahead of all parties waiting. Complained to mgr and they were going to seat us ahead of the other two parties that were there first. We insisted they go first and promptly left. We saw the writing on the wall. Service in seating would only lead to worse things to come. Save yourself time and money. Don't go. ref: 26499

3/2/13 I am a frequent visitor here, but no longer. I usually spend $38 to $45 when I visit. Chk# 2364 $37.54 glad I didn't order anything else. Asked for unsweet tea got sweet, no refill. Broccoli was cold. Waitress asked was everything ok, told her, she asked if I wanted more, replied no thanks. But she got screwed out of her tip by the kitchen staff. Went to fast food spot next to them for something hot. Fridays need to consider protecting their brand. Like the commercials, will never return! done!. ref: 26403

We come to Fridays every chance we get. The food is always good and the service is as well. Today our server was Billy and he was the best so far. He took very great care of us and made our visit a delight. If you want great food and great service just ask for Billy he will take it from there. ref: 24800

I ordered the chicken and shrimp cheese covered with mashed potatoes, the dish had burnt cheese all over it and I tryied eating it anyway, it was a $13.47ish plate I feel I lost out on a good and expensive dinner. I didn't want to wait for another plate, my family was already eating. The waitress was sweet but to pay that much for dry chicken and burnt cheese made me mad. After I got home I thrw up, it was not sitting right in my stomach. ref: 24495

Our seating was quick. Though the food took a long time. and it took 20 minutes for our drinks which was only a water a tea and a slushie. We never thought the food would get there. We were going to the grocery after but the amount of time waiting for food we could have gone to the grocery and back. If you dont mind waiting i guess you could go there. ref: 19382

I have never written a review before on any restaurant but this time was a must! Not only did my friends and I get seated right away in the bar booths, but our waiter, James, was the BEST ever!! He took such great care of not only us but everyone else seated at the bar. He has a wonderful attitde and is such a sweet guy! Great job fridays for hiring him!! Don't let him go or you will be lost without him!!! THANK YOU JAMES!!! ref: 18011

We were seated next to a very large and rambunctious party who were extremely loud. We barely ever saw our waitress and had to pretty much raise our hands for drink refills. When we needed to ask her a question about something she told us to hold on kind of rudely and ran away for a while. I understand if she was flustered by her large party, but she didn't have to take it out on us. When we finally did get to ask her our question about splitting checks she basically yelled at us. I felt stupid just for asking a question. The food was amazing though and we were seated very efficiently, which was nice. Although I noticed there were a bunch of hostesses and waitresses chillin' near the door doing nothing and that bothered me a little. By the way, for anyone who wants to say, "how dare you say that you have never worked in food service it's hard!" actually, I have, and i'm usually very nice at restaurants and leave 20% tips. :). ref: 15987

Me and my husband recently visited the restaraunt on mar. 5th 2009 for lunch we were greeted and seated immeadiately after entering the front door our waiter a young man named thomas greeted us with a smile and was warm and friendly after placing our order everything came out right on time as ordered no mistakes the appetizers then without wait the main course the steaks were cooked just the way we wanted and they were quite nice cuts of meat with great flavor our service was excellent and we will definitely be returning soon. At a boy to all the kitchen staff and our waiter I have to say the management of this restaraunt far exceeds many of the restaraunts in the surrounding areas kudos. ref: 14151

We where there on 2/20 we had a great time the waitress was great. Our food was even better it's the best salmon i've ever had. My husband had the chic mac and cheese and loved it the size of our meal was perfect. We will go back the next time we are at the beach. ref: 14052

I dont know what these people are talking about! The bar at TGI is AWESOME! They have great drink specials, FREE happy hour food, and the best bartenders around. Where else can you go to get cheap drinks, dinner, and a show from award-winning flare bartenders? Come on! No, the bread isnt free, but its not free at food lion either! duh! Every week night there is a different happy hour special where you can eat for free... nothing beats that. As far as prices, everything is going up now so get used to it! If you can't afford to eat out then go somewhere else!!! ref: 13584

Nice, clean restaurant, friendly people, and really good food! We live here in North Myrtle Beach and dine at Friday's often. We've lived in other areas that have had Friday's, and this is the best one we've been to by far! ref: 13459

Anyone who writes bad reviews for restaurants has obviously never had to wait tables in their miserable lives, here's a clue...don't go out to eat and especially don't waste everyone's time complaining about it. Also, 65$ for 4 people, regardless of age, pretty good if you ask me, where are these people used to eating? mcdonald's? save everyone the headache and stick to the big mac and 1$ fry, oh and by the way, in case you weren't aware....bread costs money too...unless you're on welfare...bartenders at friday's are always on top of their game!. ref: 10432

DON'T GO THERE!!! We went there on Thursday night. More has changed than just the decor! Food quality was poor, with 25 minutes of waiting. Only five tables had patrons and only six at the bar. They were not busy and I understand WHY! My burger was very dry and looked like it might have fallen from the plate, hanging over the edge. My wife's club was no better, especially with very hard bread. All condiments had to be requested, individually.
I wrote positive reviews for TGIs last season, because things were very good, but everything has really changed! We will not patronize this restaurant again for a long time! There are too many other GOOD restaurants in the area with much better service, food quality and time.
Immediate changes are needed!!! ref: 10300

In all our years of going to TGIF's, we have never walked in and been seated right away on a Friday night. After our experience with the service, we understood why there were so many empty seats. The food was good and a fair portion for the prices. That was where the good ended. There were eight of us and one had to wait for the first course, which the waitress forgot about; another had to wait for the main course, which was left sitting in the kitchen; glasses of water were not refilled; we had to flag the waitress down to bring the missing courses to her attention as she came back only once to check on us; the second round of drinks was served as we were finishing our main course; and none of the problems were the waitresses fault! It appeared that they had enough servers, especially when you had to walk by all of them lined up in the hallway chatting with each other, rather than checking on their dinner guests. There are too many other restaurants in the area that provide better service for the money, so we will not be going back. ref: 10133

Hello, My wife and I was in your restaurant in June and August of this year.We love the food which is excelent,but what ever you do don't sit around the bar.These guys have a waitress her name is Amanda she is rude and hateful.I had fish my wife had chicken which by the way was very good.Its just this waitress she dose not need to be around people,she needs to work alone maybe a toll booth.When we got to the restaurant there was a line but we told the hostess we would sit at the bar.When we got to our table there was plenty room around the bar now I see why. The food was great, and served in no time at all, took a couple there who had never been to Friday's, now they're big fans. I just love all of the TGI Friday's, I try to go to one everywhere I visit. I always get the sesame jack chicken strips or the skillet fried steak, they're great. Also, anything with the Jack Daniel's dipping sauce is wonderful. ref: 2079

We went there on Friday night. The food and service were excellent, as it has been each time we have gone there. Food was prepared exactly as requested. The quality and prices are among the best in the area. We always have to request a box, due to the large portions, especially if an appetizer is ordered. ref: 1617

We were a large party, so we knew there would be a wait, but when I walked inside to go to the restroom, it was pretty empty. Then we wait forever and a day for our food. (Which was luke warm)Then our waitress AIMEE is more worried about leaving quickly than waiting on us. I had to ask her 4 times for refills, after taking 10 minutes of trying to get her attention. When we got our food, about 5 minutes later, she asked us if we wanted dessert even though we had not yet started eating yet. SHE SAID she was getting ready to go home. She neglected our table because we were a large party and knew she was getting an 18% tip regardless of what she did. Then when we got the ticket, she had over charged us for a drink, then she went to change it, after rolling her eyes and came back and had added something else to our ticket. When all was done and said, she fixed the ticket, but gave us the first slip to sign, which we didnt see till after we had left, so we ended up paying for the extra stuff and 18% tip. Excellent Food, Service and Drinks! Was expecting just a normal corporate store environment, but really was amazed at the friendly service and quality of the food. Plus the happy hour specials are great with 2.99 appetizers and dollar off beers and house liquor. The bar staff seemed warm and fun to interact with. The bartenders that waited on me were Matt and Joe. ref: 609
