Sections Added to The Site
Two new sections were recently added to the site; an archive with restaurants that have closed, and restaurants with wireless internet connections.Photo Submissions - Beta testing is now active for visitors to upload their favorite photos of a restaurant. There is a link on each restaurant's web page for uploading a favorite picture.
Most Reviews - We've added the restaurants with the most reviews section so visitors can quickly check out the most popular restaurants in the area.

This year we will continually increase the number of videos at area restaurants.Smoking in Area Restaurants
Due to a number of reviews on this site mentioning smoking in local restaurants, as well as increased media attention, we conducted a Smoking Poll where locals and visitors cast their votes whether they're in favor or against a restaurant owner or manager voluntarily banning smoking entirely in their establishment.Other Issues People Mention Often
We'll be including different polls from now on -- things we notice from a large number of reviews, comments, and feedback. One of the future polls will likely be about the time-share salespeople positioned at the exits and entrances of some restaurants, and another will likely be the automatic 18% gratuity that isn't always announced by waitstaff or managers.Prior Announcements
Giving Back - To commemorate the milestone of the first 1000 restaurant reviews on this web site, which was achieved in August 2005, we pledged $1000 worth of dinners to those in need around the community, $875 of which fed 50 families full Thanksgiving Dinners.Myrtle Beach SC Restaurant Editors
