What an amazing place!! When we entered we were greeted by a young lady who took care of us the rest of the night. We started with a yummy baked brie with grapes and apples. It was to die for. Next our salads were fresh and I had mine with the homemade Green Goddess, great suggestion by the waitress. For dinner I had the Scallops and my husband had the Denver Ribeye. Both were perfect and my Scallops will bring me back.

Worst experience in a restaurant....food was horrible! My husband didn't like his salmon and it was soooooo small, it should of been considered a child's portion. I had the prime rib and it was "re-heated". I mentioned to the waitress who didn't do anything about it. Will NOT waste my time much less my money here!

The food was very good, but portions were beyond small. They should have been labeled children's portions. There were four of us. Two people ordered scallops at a price of $24.99. They received a plate with 2 scallops on a very small mound of risotto. We all left hungry and went to an ice cream store and ordered banana splits. Needless to say, we will never go there again...

I was part of a large group that dined at Twelve on Saturday, December 7th. I enjoyed a bite of a few different appetizers offered with the Baked Brie being my favorite. It was offered with a generous portion of fresh fruits and homemade garlic crostini's. For dinner I had the Denver Ribeye which was to die for. You could cut it with your fork. My husband had fresh Grouper which was perfectly cooked. It wasn't dry like you may find other places. We were offered two sides to accompany our dish which were fresh. We were offered Salad and Bread to start. Our service was excellent and given the number of people eating (about 80) waiting 35 minutes for the meal we so enjoyed was well worth it. My husband and I had never eaten at Twelve because we live in North Myrtle Beach. We will make the drive and the time to enjoy another dining experience here.

Disappointed and appalled. On 9/14/2013, I attended a reunion of 18 people at the 12 in Garden City. The meal and service were so poor, half of our party walked out after waiting for our meal for 1-1/2 hours. Reservations were made well in advance to 9/14/2013... no excuse for any surprises. Eight of our party received the meal, paid for it and discovered that the other 10 had not been served - we all walked out together. The meal itself was not good. I ordered the Salmon... the slice of Salmon was about 1 inch wide, 1-1/2 inches long and about1/8 inch thick, burned, and served on a bed of rice. It came with a small salad, but still, not worth the money. The scallop plate was consistent with the Salmon, there were four small scallops on a bed of rice... not good! Sorry folks, there will be no recommendation by any our party, and we came from different parts of the country.

First time in this restaurant and my last. Worst service ever. Waitress took her sweet time just to bring the salad for a half empty dinner service. Well of over 20 minutes. When we got our dinner. She finally came over to see how our meal was. I was honest and told her "just o.k.". She didn't seem surprised by my comment. I must not be the only unhappy customer to go through those doors.

If you go early to get happy hour pricing don't make the mistake of making a reservation. They will seat you in the dining room, allow you discuss happy hour menu and pricing and order. It's not till you get the bill that you realize you pay full price because you're not sitting at the bar!!! When the bill was disputed the owner came out and created a scene in the dining room which made everyone look at her. She was not accomidating to the lack of communication between us and our server. Enjoyed the experience up until the last 10 min and will not ever return or recommend!

Went to dinner last night. I had Linguini with clams and was very disappointed. I have never had this dish with crushed red pepper. Way too spicy (especially when I don't order spicy!). My friend had Shrimp Scampi and it also was very spicy. Neither one of us finished our meals. Way overpriced. Noted from another reviewer about salad coming with lower priced meals. Will not go back there.

My husband and I eat at Twelve at least once a week and sometimes more often. We started going there right after they opened and I have never had anything but delicious, beautifully presented food. Twelve is our go-to restaurant for celebrations (birthdays, holidays, etc) and taking out of town guests for a great meal. Carol sets the tone for the restaurant and sees to it that the staff is always polite, courteous, and efficient. The decor is beautiful and I feel "at home" when I eat there.

Firstly, the food was fabulous, wait staff very good, overall good. It's the middle of January in Myrtle Beach, not many people dining out. We went for the happy hour and dinner. We were seated quickly, ordered a cocktail and the waitress informed us to get half price you had to go over to the bar and purchase the drink. Seemed odd but I did it. Brought it back to the table and all was good. Tried to get a refill and was told we had to drink it at the bar. What's the big deal we are here to have dinner and spend our money. It wasn't the waitress but the bar tender who told us that. They need to get on the same page if they want to keep customers coming back.

Arrived for the early bird specials. Cocktails at the bar with friends very nice great service. To the dinning room no weighting. Three of the four had shrimp scampi one had sirloin steak all from the early bird specials no complaints from this group of four. Next time in town I would return great service and good tasting food for all.

I've eaten here several times. Each time was outdone by the last. This is a restaurant where you should enjoy what THEY provide. If you are a picky eater and want the best chicken parm in the world, you should look elsewhere. If you are disappointed that they don't serve ranch dressing here, you should look elsewhere. If you are looking for a fast thirty minute chain restaurant-style meal, look elsewhere. They have a talented kitchen and waitstaff who have provided excellent service to my family and me.

We arrived at the restaurant and were seated immediately, as we had made reservations. It took over an hour to receive our food after placing our orders. Some of the food was fine but my fish and chips were average at best. I spoke to the manager and her response was "we are doing our best". Doing our best and offering a complimentary drink when there are only three of six people drinking (two children) is lame. We will not go back.

WAY over priced for the quality of food. The server explained the specials, but not any prices that went with it (I found that out when I got my bill). I had the scallop risotto (cost $25.95) it came with 4 scallops, about the size of a half dollar coin. The risotto was okay, but nothing spectacular. It didn't come with anything else, no salad, nothing but the scallops and the risotto. My girlfriend ordered the filet, medium well with root veggies and sweet potato fries. She enjoyed the root veggies and we all enjoyed the sweet potato fries (they had brown sugar and cinnamon on them, yummy), but her filet was very well done and had a TON of black pepper on it (I tried a small bite and I like pepper and it was still too much). Other got items off of the 12 for $12.95 menu, Shrimp Scampi, had too much sauce on it, it was drenched. Other item from that menu they got was the Chicken Parm., Two girls got it, one loved it, one hated it. The marinara sauce was very tomato paste tasting. The items from the 12 for $12.95 menu came with a salad (go figure, the cheap meals come with a salad, the over priced ones don't). They have a very limited dressing selection; citrus vinaigrette, raspberry vinaigrette, blue cheese and a green something (supposed to be there idea of a ranch), but NO actual ranch. If you actually do go and eat there, get the raspberry vinaigrette. All in all, I would NOT recommend eating here. I do not plan on going back.

Had the Chicken Parm. Nothing special at all. Ordered side of veggie instead of pasta, got maybe a tablespoon full. Meals do not come with salad, that was an extra $6.95. Way over priced for the quality of the meal. Fontinello's is sooo much better for similar cost.

This is a very nice restaurant. It was perfect for our first meal after getting married on the beach at Ocean Isle, well worth the hour drive to South Carolina. It was very romantic with lovely set tables with candles and nice glasses, separate unique bread plates because they bring you fresh bread and butter that is very good, appropriately dim lighting, nice soft music in the background, and very professional and friendly weight people dressed nicely in black. They have a fabulous menu of mouth-watering entrees at the most affordable prices we could not believe. True fine dining like a very fancy, elegant restaurant for an unbelievably affordable price for people on a tight budget, from the ambiance to the service to the food - WOW!!!

Our family went there to celebrate on 6-23-10. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who sat us promptly. We had an excellent server, Lori, who did not rush us and had a great personality. We ordered the fried calamari and mozzerella for appetizers and was spectacular.. For our dinners, we had the shrimp scampi, mussells twelve, veal, and fried shrimp. ALL of them were delicious, and were great portions. We tried the cheesecake combination for dessert, and it was the best cheesecake we'd ever had!! My husband has lived here for over 18 years, and said it was the best restaurant in the area hands down! We agree!

Went last evening for a birthday dinner - there were seven of us... Had a great meal.. They are having a special... From 5pm - 7pm... 10 meals at $10.... All our meals were great.... Service was good... The restaurant was really busy (must be the special price) so our servicer was very busy.... The only fault I could find was that the music level was way toooooo loud... It was hard to talk... And seven women out... Well we love to talk... I know that we will be going back there....

The best restaurant in Garden City (other than the Conch, which is in a different category of having the beach/ocean view going for it). Friendly staff, delicious food and presentation. For a fairly new place - if your wait staff is ever not completely perfect - it is not because they are not trying ...maybe newly hired, but you can be sure that will not happen often. Their Happy Hour is the most relaxing & friendliest way to end your work day. All Appetizer offerings and drinks are half price..EVERYTHING....Carole (bartendress and owner) remembers your name and your choice of beverage... We love this place ....PLEASE tell all your friends and relatives about TWELVE! And TWELVE, PLEASE STAY!

This was such a wonderful dining experience for us as we had only one night in the Myrtle Beach area. Twelve had been recommended to us from friends and they were certainly right. The food was delicious. We began with mussels and shrimp cocktail. The mussels were the best we have had in a long time. My husband had the porkchop and it was outstanding, my filet melted in my mouth. The sides were very creative and the presentation was lovely. The service was wonderful, we especially enjoyed the ambiance...the candles and the soft music. We will definetly return as my husband had business in the area often. Twelve is a hidden jewel ....don't miss it. We can't wait to go there again.

To have such a great place with the investment as is, a large lacking element, the entire staff (whether family or not)should be required to be welcoming, friendly, and to smile. Well what a surprise this was, as I drove south on 17 on my way to charleston, s c where I love to dine. I was feeling a little sleepy so I pull of the road an into the oasis center sitting for a bit I look at my watch. It was 7 30 pm a good time to stop for dinner when I looked up. There was a large sign, twleve. I thought to myself ,anyone with a sign that big had to have great food just to keep it lit. So I parked close to the front doors and was greeted, by beautiful plants and flowers. Again, I thought to myself anyone with a taste for for beautiful flowers must have beautifull food. Went in sat at the black bar sat has the bar maid walk toard me with a warm smile I knew this was going to be great night.ordered a martini gin dry olives ,was perfect. Sat a while told the bar tender I want a quite table to dine she did well within seconds I was on my way to a corner table, the lighting was soft, and the tan colors and browns and large mirrors on the walls gave the room a warm soft homey feeling.the guest who was with me was a foodie so I ask them to order for me that way I would get something I may not have ordered. So a wonderfull soup of the day came then a pork shank that fell off the bone. (to die for ) and great sides, they had a white wine I had a nutty red wine.the key lime pie at room temp not ice cold was creamy, great house blend coffee not to strong. When the bill came surprise two it was very affordable for what we received. So I guess i'll be back no I know i'll be back with friends again. On my next trip i'll be sure to meet the owner. Best of luck your off to a great start.

A best kept secret of the Grand Strand is this little Gem, tucked in at Oasis shopping center with some of the most tasteful ambience in the area. It was suggested by a local who could not stop talking about the how adorable the bartender was. The food exceeded our every expectation. The service was excellent and we found the price to be great for the size of the portions we had, we took our next days lunch home with us. The onion and fennel soup was perfect. My date had Brie and then we had the coffee encrusted Filet and Shrimp Scampi all of which was done to perfection. Twelve is a must if you are in the Area. We are actually going to have Thanksgiving Dinner at Twelve.

Very impressed with this place- it's what this area has needed for a long time. Great food with good sized portions, very friendly and welcoming people, and very nice decor. Had calamari, the best I've had in many years! Also had their "Sunday dinner" an Italian dish, and I am Italian from New York and know authentic Italian cooking- this was it!! I will be back many times as long as they keep up the good work! Highly recomend the place!

I visited Twelve via a recommendation from a business client who had a great dining experience so I had to try it myself as we often disagree on restaurants. The ambiance of the decor, food price, service and quality all made for a great evening. The owner was the host who seated us immediately, which I like to see; the reastaurant is open and spacious making for loud accoustics but the layout created a nice intimate quiet setting for my date and I to share. Noise was not a facot and the music was great. Twelve seemed to me to be a new concept to the Grand Strand and not your typical restaurant for the area. The menu has a wide range of items that can meet the need of anyones pallet. I have been back twice and thought the menu is limited to about 12-15 items the special change daily and make for a pleasant choice as well. I have had several of the dishes and especially liked the Pork Ossobucco and Rissotto and Asian Short Rib. Anyone visiting the great Myrtle Beach area must make Twelve one of there restaurants to visit.

We went to Twelve last night and were pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect the place to be so beautiful! I loved the earthy tones, the candle light, etc. Twelve has only been open for 3 months and I hope they make it. We had onion and fennel soup, which was decent. The bread bucket is great. My husband had Hungarian Goulash, which he thought was OK. I wasn't crazy about it. I had Pork Ossobuco over risotto. I loved it! The risotto was fantastic and the pork could almost fall of the bone. It was cold in the center, which I could have sent back, but I wasn't worried about it. The outside was hot and by the time I got to the center, I was too full anyway. I would have sent it back, had it been undercooked but it wasn't. My husband thought the place was beautiful but average and he didn't think the food was worth 75.00, but I really enjoyed everything. I think this is a great place to go with friends or a on a date. It's very romantic but not too stuffy. The bartender is a sweetheart and I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is GREAT!!!! Ate there Friday night, they've only been open a couple of weeks but wow!! The place is beautiful inside, I would say it's one of the nicest looking rest. in the area (if not the nicest!!!) We felt really welcomed, and the service was great. I had this enormous short rib and it came with 2 side dishes that were yummy, my wife had shrimp scampi and said it was the best she ever had!! The prices were very reasonable for what you get and we will go back soon! PS- try the key lime pie you get your own little one and it was so creamy and good!!!
