The Isles RestaurantAmerican Restaurant in Sunset Beach
We are an oceanfront restaurant on the West End of Ocean Isle Beach, minutes north of Calabash.
Our goal is to take a modern twist on coastal carolina favorites utilizing the best products in the region.
We feature fresh hand cut steaks and fish with plenty of southern hospitality. Enjoy our oceanfront tiki bar or at a table overlooking the beach, weather permitting.

Review: This is the restaurant I chose for my wedding dinner. The only reason the length of time to be seated was average was because we had to reserve the section for 31 people. The food was luke warm and they still had the nerve to charge us full price, and an 18% gratuity because we had a large party. I had known that there would be another wedding party at the restaurant at the same time, but what the manager failed to tell me was that the other party was going to have a DJ who played every song as loudly as humanly possible. The hostess was rude and the manager was down right dismissive and didn't take responsibility for anything that went wrong. Disgraceful!

Review: My husband and I went to the Isles for our monthly date night. We live only 10 min from the Isles so we thought how nice it would be to go somewhere nice that was also close by. Anyone who knows this area knows that July at OIB is crazy busy every night. Well not at the Isles. When we approached the hostess her first comment was...DO YOU HAVE reservations? We looked around at the empty restaurant and said no, did we need them. She said no, but it will be about 10-15 min before we can get you a table. We said that's not a problem. We went outside to the most amazing tiki bar that sits right on the ocean and ordered a couple of drinks (kettle and tonic / crown and ginger =$16) We were not in any hurry since this was our night out and we were enjoying the breeze and each others company. When I finally looked at my watch an hour had passed. I went in to tell the hostess we had decided to just have apps at the bar, she looked at me and said OH, sorry......
Our apps were ok, not spectacular, which is what you would expect from such a gorgeous restaurant. It is sad to see such a beautiful location go to waste. This was the third chance I have given to this restaurant because the location is so amazing but I don't know if I can give them any more of my money knowing what poor service I am going to receive.
