Review: Loved The Grill House so much that we drove from South Myrtle to eat there 2 nights in a row. The locals eat there too.
You can't beat their early bird special.Best Hamburger steak around for $7.99/2 sides/tea or coffee included.Can't wait to go back!

Review: The steak I got here was good, very nice flavor done right and tender. I have had better steaks but did enjoy the meal! There are so many great restaurants in this area that I probably would not come back here! Please understand this is not a bad review but the competition is tough! Try it you may like it more than I did!

Review: I wanted to take my wife to enjoy a nice steak dinner and chose this place because it was close & had a lot of nice reviews. What a big disappointment. The food was average at best and was a long way from fine dining. The background music was Rolling Stones & Petula Clark. For just a few $ more we could have gone to an upscale place and had a much better meal.

Review: I have been to The Grill House a lot since I was about 12 years old. Now I am 23 and I absolutely love love love the fried cheesecake with the blueberry and straberry sauces and cool whip...never had anything like it! I also love their Steaks, shrimp, Grill House potato which has a fried breading around it and filled with cheese, and last but not least the clam chowder. I have known the owner Lastat and his father since I started eating their and they also helped sponsor me for a local pageant a few years ago. The wait staff is amzing and also very friendly. I look forward to eating there a lot more!

Review: Just got back from visiting the Grill House and every single one of us loved the food, even the kids! A great value for the money for every meal. Both my father in law and mother in law got the prime rib and loved it. My wife and I both got the Onion and Swiss Burger and left stuffed and regretting that we finished the whole meal... Way too much food for what you pay! My sister in law got the Shrimp Athena and cleared her plate as well commenting throughout the whole meal how good it was.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant. We tried it last year and this year was even better than we remember!

Review: The Manos family does it again! Long time Beach /Food service family. Good food and fast service. The Filet was as good as they get. The value of the meal was fair to under valued. It appears to be a favorite for many locals. Will go back as much as I can.
P.S. Big Clemson fans own this place. Go Tigers!

Review: After coming to Myrtle Beach for over 10 years, we had never been to The Grill House. We had a large party of 12 and were able to get a reservation right away. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. We all tried different things and were very happy. The french onion soup was delicious as was the lasagna, seafood, and steaks. We were celebrating my parent's anniversary and the staff brought out a dessert and even sang to them. Our waiter was wonderful as was the rest of the staff. Great experience!

Review: Excellent choice! Courteous, fast, smiling service. Extremely varied menu. You won't have room for desert which are probably terrific also. The deep-fried cheesecake did sound inviting, but full is full.

Review: my wife and parents and I went to this restaurant for my birthday. The outside appearance of the restaurant does not reflect how classy it is inside. The decor, tables and booths are very nice. The wait staff was quick and attentive, and the owner was walking around and talking to the customers verifying that they were satisfied. In spite of the great service, the food was the reason i'm writing this review. All four of us were very satisfied with the quality and price of the food. But I ordered the filet mignon because it was my birthday. We vacation in the myrtle beach area two or three times a year and try to eat at as many different restaurants as we can because there are so many. But the steak I ate that night was cooked precisely as I ordered and it was as tender as any steak i've eaten in my 50 years of life. I can't speak for any others who might not have been satisfied with the service or food at The Grill House, but my experience will not only bring me back to that restaurant, but I will spread the word to my many friends who also visit the myrtle beach area..

Review: My parents and wife and I visited this restaurant in early February. I had seen good reviews on this site and decided to give it a try for my 50th birthday. I mentioned to my parents that the outside of the restaurant looked like it had once been a "Dollar" store.
But once inside, I saw just how elegant it was. There are plenty of seating options from booths to larger tables. The service was quick and responsive. The owner was walking around to each table verifying that everyone was satisfied.
As to the food, well, for my birthday, I ordered the reasonably priced filet mignon, cooked medium. I have eaten some very good food over the last few years, but I can easily say that the steak I ate that night was the best I've ever had. It was cooked to the exact way I ordered and melted in my mouth. As for the others at my table, the only option they didn't care for was the fried potato. It was a bit dry and not very good.
Anyway, at my sister's request in Chicago, the owner actually went to a local grocery store and bought a birthday cake to have brought to my table with employees and patrons alike singing happy birthday to me after our meal. Thank you to all at The Grill House in North Myrtle Beach.

Review: My Wife and I have been eating there for the last three years or so. We get down to Cherry grove four times a year and eat there at least 2 to 4 times each visit. Lunch and Early Bird specials are excellent as well as a great value. The owners as well as the staff are always friendly and make you feel at home. We have taken friends there o many occassions and now many of them visit there on every visit to the area.

Review: I booked the private room at the Grill House for a college fraternity reunion in November for 30 people. I only heard wonderful comments on the food and service from everyone. The food all came out at the same time so we all were able to eat together. It was great and I highly recommend it. Many of our guests said they had seen it on trips before, but had never eaten there. I'm sure they will make it a regular after this experience.

Review: I read the reviews on this restaurant prior to our trip and decided we should definitely go there. It was well worth the trip. The steaks were so tender. The potatoes were absolutely wonderful. The salad was fresh. The service was very good and the quantity of food for the price was great. They have specials prior to 6:00 p.m. also that are very good.

Review: Wow! Where do you people live? First be aware it's in a strip center...Rosa, the Hostess had the personality of wood...seated us fast in the nonsmoking well almost nonsmoking section...we asked to move deeper into the nonsmoking section. Our first waitress apologized for "spacing out" (her words) once moved the service of oour waiter was very good....there are too many excellent choices to dine here. We won't be back!

Review: Enjoyed the Grill House very much.We got there in time for early bird specials which helped our bill quite a bit.The food was vey good and the service was excellant.I had the rib eye and my wife had flounder.Both were good as well as the buffalo shrimp appetizer.The fried mash potato w/cheese was definitely different and good. I am sure the loation has hurt some but we recommend it highly.

Review: We eat hear often. I always get the prime rib. It's great. Other members of the family always order the ribs. Love the potatoes and the bread. Last time there, our waitress had some problems speaking English. Believe she was an exchange student but she checked on us often and always got refills for us--just had to watch what she was giving you as a refill. All in all, we love this place. Great food. Our church members go there alot. Have a large back room for groups and service is excelllent no matter the size of the group.

Review: This resturant is a true gem. The food quality is excellent and the portions are huge. The price is of food is below what I would expect for the quality/quantity. My wife and I ate lunch and had a 1/2 pound burger/fries and chicken marsala. We each had a soda. The bill was only $20.00. We left stuffed and satisfied. The resturant is casual and warm. I would highly recommend going here.

Review: We were so impressed with the Grill House that we ate there twice our vacation! Their food is the best in NMB! I have never tasted such a great filet that you could cut it with a fork and not to forget the grill house potato! This must be NMB best kept secret. Review: We enjoyed it so much that we returned with other family members 2 times, because they all wanted to go back too. Everyone agreed it was GREAT!! Recently, at our family reunion it was so funny. We were still being reminded by my uncle Randolph of how much he enjoyed their flounder. All we've heard since our visits there was my uncle saying ...."I'll tell ya one thing, that's the best flounder I've ever eat'n in my entire life." What more can we say. Also, try their seafood bisque soup, it's the best.........

Review: We found this gem when we moved "south" 2 years ago and have made it our favorite, bar none. We order mainly from the early bird menu (something for everyone - drink included!). The chicken, fish and rib dishes are outstanding, the hamburgers are the best we've had anywhere. We take every visitor to The Grill House and it always gets rave reviews. With a single exception in the last two years (an unfortunately snotty waitress with an attitude on our last visit), the staff are consistently friendly, attentive and pleasant. The amount and quality of food make this an incredible value. We've never waited for a table in this lovely restaurant and always look forward to our next visit. A winner!

Review: This restaurant may be one of the best kept secrets around. It wasn't as busy as the ones on the main road, but is located in a plaza on the main road (17). We (party of 6) were seated quickly. Being in a plaza setting probably hurts the perception of the place. Once inside, the decor and atmosphere are great. Plenty of room, so you don't feel cramped. Now the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Service was good too! A great place to eat.

Review: The food was great as well as the atmosphere. Our server was horrible though. Our server, Dale, seemed to flirt with the hostess's more thenc are about his customers. Other than that, everything was good. Of course the tip was not.

Review: Our family always stop for a meal at the Grill House when visting the NMB area. I have eaten there at least 8 times and the food truly is some of the best you can find within 20 miles...especially for the price. The atmosphere and service are pretty average but the food, price, and "house potato" more than compensate. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Review: Our first visit to the Grill House was excellent all around. It was the best meal I've had at the beach in a very long time. The buffalo wings are great, buffalo shrimp were cooked perfectly, homemade ripple cut potato chips were crunchy and full of flavor...that was just the appetizers. Our entrees were equally spectacular. Another thing we appreciated is that the lunch specials are affordable and even come with a tea - an excellent glass of tea I might add. This is a new fav! We will go back - again and again.

Review: We've eaten here three times and each time, the food was excellent, no matter whether it was chicken, steaks, or seafood. No wait to be seated and orders came quickly. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the portion sizes. I especially like the fact that you can order your seafood broiled instead of fried. And you have got to try that Grill House potato!!!

Review: I have been here several times and always extremely satisifed.
We have always been seated quickly and food served quickly also. Lunch specials are a great price and alot of food. There is always a big selection for the specials also, so if you have picky eaters they are sure to find something here guaranteed!
