Ate at the Boundary House on Saturday night. Have always had good food and good times, except this time. The waiters were non-attentive, as we had to call ours to the table several times. The Hurricane Chicken was in a brown, sweet sauce, which is atypical of this dish. Our friend ate 1/4 of it, before realizing that it was not cooked the same way as she has had it many times before. The manager did not offer to comp the meal for her; instead offered her cheesecake. In addition, the place was freezing cold, despite 2 attempts by us to tell the staff to adjust the temperature. Guests were going to their car and bring back coats to wear in the restaurant. The wait staff were hovering together at the kitchen bar and socializing/ texting. We have been to the Boundary house many times and this the first time that the service and the food was so bad. I hope that it will be corrected.

Worst waitress ever, finally smiled and stopped by after calling manager. 45 min wait for food to come to table. Salad filled with white hulls of lettuce; otherwise, doesn't deliver what you Expect.

We are locals that usually eat there once a month, mostly for lunch. Lunch specials are great and reasonably priced. Dinner prices are a little high, but about average for Beach area. Really a nice place for a family to eat. Children can get something reasonable.

On March 20 the place was full of loud happy diners. I layed out $26.95 for a piece of alleged prime rib and got a piece of non-prime (perhaps choice) slab of meat with no fat grain, no juice and a far cry from tender. Overpriced, mediocre quality. I should have got the hot dog.

We ate at the Boundary House again this year after having many great pervious experiences here! Despite my steak coming out over done, we all had a great experience and the food was amazing! We were there with a group of 8 (3 kids) and everyone loved their food! We had Prime Rib, Whiskey Creek chicken pasta, scallops, sirloin, and Hurricane Chicken. All were great! The only downside is the noise level as it can be difficult to be heard in the restaurant when trying to talk to someone at the same table.

We ate at the Boundary House last year in 2011. Beautiful atmosphere, decor. We didn't have to wait very long for a table, the service was great and the food was delicious. The hot, honey buttered rolls are to die for, they are soft and melt in your mouth. I would highly recomend to dine with them and we will be returning their again soon to dine with them with our friends. A must place to dine whenever you are in their area. Fabulous!

Food was great! Service was terrible from both waitress and general manager. Check your bill... Was over charged and was forced to pay for it. Overall a terrible experience and will not go back.

I want to begin by saying that I did rate the service poor but our server was wonderful - it was Russ, the manager that we spoke with that was fabulously disingenuous to say the least - not equipped for any type of job in customer service! My future husband's family has a house very close to the boundary house so every time we visit we always go there and have never had any problems at all....until now! The experience was a joke!! We began with an appetizer, crab dip, came out wrong...had to be sent back. We than ordered our salads, one right, one wrong,,,,,sent back. At that time I would have expected for a manager (or a good manager) to at least stop by the table...nothing, not a major deal though we didn't really mind it was just something overlooked by the kitchen and a salad with everything on it that was supposed to have nothing on it, no problem. Now the entree. My future husband ordered surf and turf, nothing special and I ordered the salmon blackened. I'm still so appalled by the situation. His "medium" filet came out blacker than my salmon and both were tougher than beef jerky. The shrimp came out cold and so chewy, I didn't even know shrimp could be that overcooked. Salmon.....hardest piece of fish I had ever seen i had also ordered a side of pasta with alfredo and when I stuck my fork in I was able to basically pick up the entire dish of cold, over-cooked, crusted pile of noodles. The server came over to check on us we let him know that we were a bit disappointed, we typically don't like to complain, so we were just going to let them know about the steak and salmon....the sides were really not that big of deal we tend to "pick our battles. Until...... Russ comes out. Russ does not introduce himself and just stands there looking at us. My fiance and I were just kinda looking at each other in the very uncomfortable silence and and he finally looks at Russ and explains the problem. Russ, does not apologize at all turns to me and asks me "well didn't you order your salmon blackened?" My fiance chimes in and says well isn't blackened just the seasoning, it does not refer to overcooking the fish does it. Apparently Russ took some type of offense to this and snatches up back our food than leaves our server back out to apologize and explains it will just be a minute. Russ than brings out a medium-rare filet (blood and all) and piece of salmon barely blackened saying that he inspected the salmon that was sent back and the outside was quite hard but the middle was cooked just fine he than waits staring at me to take a bite of this undercooked salmon. I was so uncomfortable I explained I would rather not have it at all and grabbed up the plate almost spilling the salmon on me and stormed off saying nothing. Bad experience. We ended up having to speak to another manager that was very nice and apologetic about the situation as he handed the food back to our server. We were given a bill for some of the food. We ate nothing and still paid over forty dollars. The worst part of the situation is that Russ was so angry with us he had to go outside and "cool down" and waited until we left as we watched him return back inside...Wow.

Great atmosphere! Much different than the other restaurants on the street.. more modern and up to date than the others. The food was excellent for the price! We did have to wait close to an hour, but once we were seated we had very fast service. The house salad with the house dressing was great! You can't beat the pick 2 for $20.. the crabcake melts in your mouth and the blackened shrimp is cooked great! I would definitely recommend this place!
