I have never been to a restaurant where the waitress was so rude! She ignored our table the whole time and only came back to bring us the bill. The manager was just as rude. This was aggravating. The food was good and came out fast and hot (although the bread was not brought out until the salads were brought). I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Our experience was much like the other reviews posted, terrible! The bartender was slow, rude, and not concerned with the quality of dinning experience. This is not in the chain of actual Texas Roadhouse Restaurants, unfortunately the quality is well below that of the one they are attempting emulate. The management was completely non-existent, not to mention utterly unconcerned with our complaints

Not to be confused with "TEXAS ROADHOUSE". That was our mistake think this was the same restaurant. It was more expensive and you get a lot less for your buck then "TEXAS ROADHOUSE". Steak quality was poor and it was hard to chew. Our friends son's pasta (from the kids menu) had no flavor and he couldn't eat it. The tip was already added to the bill but no where did it tell us this was their policy and there were only 6 of us. The service was below what we had received at every other restaurant we have been to in Myrtle Beach. We were there for 10 nights and went out for dinner 10 nights. Enough said.

Not the real texas roadhouse - no peanuts - it is at the mall - but the food was poor - no salad was served - sides were very small (and cold) for the price charged - salmon was way undercooked - 2nd try at the salmon dish came way after everyone else was done with their meals and tasted very fishy...and too done all at the same time. This was the 2nd try for this place since the first didn't go well either - I won't try again....2 strikes and you're out.... And they don't even ask how it was when you leave --- they don't even care.........

My wife and I ate at the Texas Roadhosue Grill while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. We too thought that this restaurant was in the chain of restaurants called Texas Roadhouse. There is one in the Garden City/Surfside area. We were disappointed because this place was not as good and the atmosphere was lacking. The salads were good and brought to us promptly. My steak was very plain, with no seasoning at all. I had a ribeye. My wife had the Texas chicken monterey. She said that it was pretty good, but there was not enough chicken. My wife is not a big eater, so it was small. Our side items were good. We both had a baked potato. I think that this restaurant is intentionally looking similar to the other chain on purpose. This is an OK place to go, but it is more expensive than the Texas Roadhouse chain. I will be more careful from now on.

My daughter and I went here thinking they were tied to Texas Roadhouse. The waitress said it was different because of the grill behind the name. The cheese fries were as good as TR but from there it went down hill. We sat a very long time just waiting to be acknowledged by our waitress. My daughter ordered chicken and shrimp alfredo and wasn't even able to eat it. It was awful. I love alfredo and even I didn't like it. My ribs were not cleaned up. They still had that nasty kin underneath and little bones everywhere. I will never eat here again. That was money wasted. Not to mention the gamecock chicken sandwich on the menu made me mad being a die hard Tiger. Bad move. The hostess acted very snooty towards us as we walked out. Outback would never treat anyone that way. She never said thanks, come back, didn't open the door for us even though she was standing right there.

Excellent prime rib!!! Fresh salad, friendly service, and overall great food! My friend suggested we go to Texas Roadhouse just to try something new. None of us had ever been there before, but we've been back many times! We haven't been disappointed yet. One of our favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach!

Three of us went for dinner on a Monday night. Our waiter (Brad) was very charming & funny. He gave us plenty of time to order. We all decided on a burger (we were leaving for home the next day and didn't want leftovers). Two of us ordered our burgers medium and they came medium well, but were still juicy. He was even nice enough to give us each a separate check. It was not an issue at all. If we were back in Myrtle Beach, we would probably go there again and try something besides the burger.

The service we recieved from the waitress was absolutely terrible. Never returning for refills and she never even return to give us a check! After waiting 45 minutes our whole party of 12 got up and paid at the front desk! I informed the Hostess whom informed the waitress who replied with a nasty look at us. When the waitress returned several minutes later she slapped the bill on the desk giving us all a nasty look. The hostess looked at us and smirked.I informed the Manager that we will never eat there again (9 of us locals and 3 are out of state family members). Very unprofessional and we have already stopped others from going there...NEVER AGAIN will we eat there!!!

We accidentally ended up in this restaurant thinking it was the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant; which we had a gift certificate for. My husband ordered chicken alfredo that came out looking lumpy - like the sauce was out of a can - and it tasted like it looked. I ordered a grilled chicken and rib combo. The ribs were very dry because they were improperly cooked, which the restaurant was trying to mask with a gallon of bbq sauce. My daughter had a cheeseburger with the most unappetizing tomato slice I have ever seen. She wouldn't eat a bite. During the meal we commented that we would never come back. Imagine our delight when we discovered that we would actually have to pay (almost $50) for the dog food we had just been served. HORRIBLE!! I'll never set foot in that restaurant again; not even for free.

We are in Myrtle Beach on vacation and were told to try The Texas Roadhouse. I have to say I am so glad we did because it was amazing ! The service was outstanding and the steak was cooked to perfection. We loved this restaurant so much that we went twice ! I was surprised to see the poor reviews on this restaurant after eating there. I have to say if I had read the reviews first I probably would not have gone . I am so glad that I didn't !

My family and I ate there June 11 and specifically went at 4 pm to order from the early bird menu- This is advertised on a huge board out front - we ordered from the early bird menu - we were never asked if we were ordering early bird by our server - we were charged full price for dinner entrees - when we asked our server why she immediately got defensive and accused me outright of oedering from the dinner menu- My 71 year old mother told me later she even ordered by pointing out what she wanted on the EARLY BIRD menu! The manager came and totally ignored my side and charged us full price- he ended up crediting 1/2 the difference but it is not the monetary difference that I care about it was the way as their customers we were treated like liars - I wonder if this is a scam they pull on the tourists - it was all just too rehearsed to me - I will never eat there again and intend to tell this story to everyone I know who is vacationing in Myrtle Beach - I guess the customer is always right is no longer something that is cared about. By the way, I am a customer service rep in the insurance industry and if we treated customers the way I was treated we would soon have none.

I ordered a Rib Eye Medium rare. It was cooked properly. The steak was tough and gristly. Absolutely terrible. Second time in my life I ever voiced it to the waiter. Sent it back and settled for a mediocre prime rib. I will never go into that place again..........You would assume that a steakhouse has good steak, wouldn't you? Guess again.

We have been eating here for several years now and the food is always good. We were there in August and it was crowded. The first problem we had was with our waitress, she was from a foreign country and did not speak very good English therefore our orders were messed up. I don't mind a foreign wait staff but please make sure they understand English. Food was not what we ordered and she never came back to refill our drinks we had to stop someone else for refills. Usually we have a good experience here and I think this was just a one time deal so we will return again. This review is mostly for the manager or owner to alert them of the problems with a foreign wait staff who does not understand English.

We have visited this restaurant several times in past visits to the strand. For some reason, it seems we always go on a night when it rains. It rained today so we just naturally had to go. We used call ahead seating but somehow our call was lost. It didn't really matter as there was not a significant line. We ordered three different dishes with somewhat differing results. I ordered the shrimp and steak. The shrimp was excellent, grilled to perfection. The steak was cooked correctly but was somewhat tough. My wife ordered prime rib. Her's was excellent and even as good as what we had at Cagneys a few nights ago. She was also pleased with the availability of a baked sweet potato. My daughter ordered a steak and had a similar result to mine, cooked correctly but a bit tough. There were about a dozen side dishes available which is a good choice compared to most offerings on the strand.

My visit to the Texas Roadhouse and Grill was HORRIBLE!!!! Our waitress never came back to our table to ask if we wanted refills on drinks, never asked us how our food was, or asked if we needed anything else. She basically ignored us...then added gratuity on to our checks I say checks because two different people paid and had two different checks...yes there were 6 of us at the table...but two different checks doesn't mean add gratuity when no one was paying for all 6 meals...Then we asked to speak to the manager before leaving and he did nothing!! NOTHING!!! He didn't remove the gratuity from the bill or apologize all he did was tell us no one else has ever complained about our waitress!! I will never return to the Texas Roadhouse and Grill...and advise you not to as well!!

Six of us dined at this Texas Roadhouse Grill on 11/02/05 at table #57. The server was 67 Peaches. My Sirloin Steak looked like a rope, not flat like a steak does. It had an "unusual" taste to it, like it was too old, it was tough, not cooked medium rare as I requested and I had to leave approx. 3/4 of it on the plate.

My wife ordered the Sirloin Tips and she had the same problems that I did, except she could only eat one and left all the rest on her plate.

When the bill came for $32.08, the tip was already included. All our server could say-she was sorry. We'll never be back. Their headquarters will be informed.

My wife and I went here to get a good steak. Was greeted at the door by a man at a desk on their front porch. "Enjoy your dinner."

Prices ran us out the door. On par with "Cagney's", for a "Denny's" decor.

Our "greeter" at the door. . . "How long you folks goin' to be in town?"

Yep, you guessed it. Another solicitor for time shares.

I feel sorry for persons who may have had a great meal, only to be slammed at their front door by this. Destroys any kind of class they were trying to have.
