Review: 8/15/2010 Sunday breakfast tables dirty and sticky service slow and 7 mins for coffee 4 mins for menus which you can hardly read bad copys another 11 mins for order to be taken other patron sent a waitress over to our table another 8 mins for food to come we used to go there in the past but this is way past bad sorry sorry to see to this slide down so far from a couple years ago we are locals ever hear of word of mouth advertising ????

Review: This is one of the filithest resturants in Myrtle Beach or Surfside. They just got a rating of 79 from the health insector, 1 or 2 lower scores and its close time .

Review: Arrived at 815am not welcomed not seated not even a hi. Sat down and a menu was placed on the table and our drink order taken. Still no greeting at all. 12 min later our order was taken. We see the waitress was alone and busy. She was really upset (mad). Not even a thank you. At 847 we asked for our food to go and she yelled at us in front of the whole rest. My wife tried to explain that she a Dr appointment and the waitress cont to yell stating that she was it today and THAT WAS JUST FINE. Yelling some more. I asked for a mamager. She said she was it no one was available. I said that she didn't have to yell at me she then said "I have been here 4 years, F@+k You Have a good day."

Review: We live in Surfside and go to Jennys evey so often to get lunch (we work construction). For those of you from out of town this is a locals establishment and those that are in and out of there everyday get better service than those from out of town. I know its not fair but thats the way they are. Those that have written that the place is dirty are right. They could clean it up a little. The food is average. You could whip up just about anything they serve in your own kitchen and taste just as good. If your from out of town do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Review: I eat here almost every weeked and I am never displeased.the service is fast ... the food is wonderful.I LOVE the big coffee mugs....just wish the place was a little bigger because the table are close together and sometimes its hard to push the seat back if need be because the person sitting beind you is very close.....

Review: We LOVE Surfside Jenny's for breakfast. The quality and value is fantastic. We are PIA non-smokers, but never really noticed others smoking, so it hasn't been an issue.We live near Baltimore, but come to our time share in Murrell's Inlet at least once year. The small town, friendly atmosphere is wonderful. If you want high class ambiance, this is not the place for you, but we love Jenny's! Our vacation wouldn't be complete without at least on breakfast at Jenny's

Review: My husband and I went to Surfside Jenny's on Saturday July 5, 2008 and had the worst experience we have ever had.
The service was completely lousy. We waited for over 15 minutes before we were ever seated - then we waited another 10 minutes before our drink order was taken - we went ahead and placed our food order along with our drink order. It took our waitress 10 more minutes before she brought our drinks to us then another 20 minutes before we got our food. We had to ask for cocktail sauce for the shrimp - it then took another 10 minutes and me going up to the counter before we got it only to find that the shrimp was extremely overcooked to the point it wasn't edible. not to mention it had gotten cold. We complained but the staff was completely unapologetic - like they expected us to eat the food anyway. We just left our uneaten food there and walked out.
This was our first and last visit to Surfside Jenny's - we wouldn't feed a dog the food we were served that day!

Review: First of all I am a big tipper, I believe that all wait staff should be tipped graciously because that is there job, they are working for those tips. Well - Let me say, this is the first time IN MY LIFE I have NEVER left a tip. The waitress took 10 minutes to even come over with menus, then when we got them she never even came back and asked us what we wanted to eat for about 10 more minutes. The place wasn't crowded at all, so I dont know what the problem was. The restaurant is dirty, food on the menus. When are waitress finally came over and brought us our drinks my kids ordered sprites and they got just soda water. When I asked her to take them back and give them choc. milk, she actually CHARGED me for the 2 choc milks. Then when she delivered the food, she dropped some of my scrambled eggs on the table and had the nerve to use her fingers and pick it up off the table and put it back in my plate. I asked for a whole nother meal. She got huffy and puffy and said, You thought you wanted long time, you wait and see how long youll wait now..... (under her breathe of course). When I finally got my food, everyone else was done and I had lost my appetite by then thinking that she probbably spit in my food......... I just left it there and we paid our bill and left. She was none too happy that I made her remake the meal only to leave it on the table uintouched (lol). i would NEVER eat there again. so dirty and the people are pretty unclean looking too. A little scary if you ask me........

Review: Finally found a place that knows what creamed chipped is! I can't believe no one in Myrtle Beach knows what that is. Anyway, we found it and it was good! A good breakfast place. Definately a "locals place" as the waitresses knew everyone who came in. Very friendly people. Extensive menu, lots to choose from for a small place. I didn't see them, but there had to be some little ole lady good cooks back there! We will go back!

Review: This place has the best Breakfast of anywhere in Myrtle Beach OR Surfside beach! And the price is very reasonable.Its a small country down home feeling restaurant. Try it you will love it.

Review: From what I understand, Jenny's is past the town limit line therefore the no smoking ban does not apply to them. I am a non-smoker myself so when we eat there we just make sure we get on the far opposite end.
My husband and I had lunch there this past weekend and the food was great and reasonably priced. I also like knowing I am supporting a family owned and operated restaurant. The Gonskas are nice people and work hard. While this may not be a "fine dining" restaurant, it is great home cooking style food.

Review: Well, since the whole rest. is smoking and in Surfside, it will be interesting to see how quick they respond to the law passed for No Smoking in public places in Surfside (soon to go into effect)....Looks to me like, if you knew it were just a matter of time, you would start now and make your restaurant cleaner. Food was just fine. Service was fine. Not that impressed with cleanliness or atmosphere. Staff was friendly.

Review: Great food for the money, always a good variety of their lunch specials. Owners are very nice and make you feel very welcome. We enjoy eating regularly at Surfside Jenny's.

Review: Surfside Jenny's has been one of the best discoveries we've made. We are self declared food snobs but love eating breakfast. SJ's is a rusitc, country restaurant. We go there for breakfast all the time. Quick service and great breakfast, especially for the price! We've never been disappointed! The entire place (very small) is smoking but it doesn't bother me. The place is very noisy since the restaurant is small, but most breakfast places are. I'm sure lunch is great in there as well.
