Review: My family went to Shuckers to eat oysters. The bartenders were very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked into the door. We had oysters and since they were not busy they shucked our oysters for us. We got to watch our Yankees play too. This is a great place to eat and sit and relax. Great prices and great service!

Review: Came here and was not given the appropiate service from your wiatress. She was very nasty and unprofessional. I have never experienced a person in customer service as rude and carries an unpleasant personality. Money is money and my money is no different from the other mans. If she is going to talk to her fellow caucasions in a professional manner she should the same for the black americans. I was not given a name by the waitress because she never introduced herself. She was a tall full figured caucasion female. This particular night of Aug. 7 was terriable.

Review: We went to Shuckers at Broadway at the Beach and had a ball. Our server was fun. We had a steam pot which pretty much gave you a little bit of everything ( Shrimp, Oysters, Clams, Crablegs with corn and new potatos). VERY GOOD! There were plenty of other appetizers, sadwiches and entrees if you were not looking for seafood. They had plenty of tvs. It would be a great place to go during football season. They also had some cool bar games to keep you occupied, pool tables, darts, foosball even an old school shuffleboard table. Cool place to hang out, eat some oysters and drink a beer.

Review: I love this place! I was immediately greeted and opted to sit at the bar.
The bartender (Amy) was awesome. We ate happy hour food (oysters were the best I've had in Myrtle) and drank margaritas for $3 each!! Shuckers is laid back and you feel like your really on vacation. Lots of locals came in to play trivia and everyone seemed to knew each other. I can't wait to go back!!

Review: Food tasted like it was reheated three times before being served to us. Chicken was rubbery. Noodles were chewy. Roof was leaking, dripping onto the bar shuffleboard table. Grouper fingers were more like grouper stubs. Lobster bites were smothered in grease. We were seated immediately; no wonder.

Review: I had the fried oysters and my dinner companion had the Grouper bites. The grease needed to be changed in the frier I guess. They came out over fried and rock hard. We sent it back and they only came back with the part that was not over fried. 4 Grouper bites. Could not even jam a fork in them. The bartender threw the food at us practically and never asked how it was or could not look us in the face when he gave us the bill. It was terrible.

Review: I go into Shuckers every Wednesday to participate in Taboo Trivia. They have half price pitchers and $2 vodka drinks. I usually hang out there all day, eat happy hour food, then stay through the night. It is also a good place to watch football. There are small tv's at the tables and plenty of tv's hung around the bar. They play the most asked for game on sound and then if you are the first person there you choose what goes on the 82" tv. GREAT!!! We are big Gamecock fans and they are the only one's at Broadway to hold all their games, even when it is on PPV. They also had the PPV UFC fight this weekend. The staff has always been pleasant to us and treat us like family. We have been in there many times and they get to know you. GREAT PLACE. Kind of reminds me of Cheers.

Review: We went to Shuckers on our vacation basically because all the other tourist restaurants had a 3-4 hour wait! Now I see why Shuckers was able to sit us down when we got there (IT WAS AWFUL!) I will not never go back. We had a party of 10 people and everyone of us thought the food was horrible. The waitress screwed up my order, my sister-in-law ordered clam chowder soup that tasted like it was out of a can, which thankfully they took back. She then ordered some spinich dip that tasted like burnt road trash that had been mustering in the sun for days and had that sent back leaving her only to munch off her childrens plate. Speaking of childrens plates, I have 3 boys and my oldest son ordered a 1/2 pound shrimp basket for $9 and my youngest ordered a kids shrimp basket for 5.99(his come with fries and the other did not) and he had more food on his plate then my oldest sons plate!!! The food did not taste fresh, more like FROZEN out of the bag with a frozen bite to it! PLEASE NEVER GO THERE! Also, to top the night off, when we paid for the crappy road trash meal, we gave the waitress 55.00 which our bill was 53.04, we already left a tip on the table and we waited forever for our change. Finally, the waitress told us they do not give out change!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of place keeps your change????????????? NOT a good place to go while on vacation! Now I wish I had waited for 3 hours somewhere worth eating!

Review: We have been going to Shuckers for a couple of years now and always make a point to stop by at least once a trip. The HH is wonderful. The oysters, shrimp, wings and mussels are very good. The tots are great but the grouper sandwich was the best I have had in a while. My kids enjoy the place as much as we do and it very cheap. We all eat until we are full and only spend around $35 each trip. That includes a few pitchers of beer. Ask for Amy, she is great!! From what we have always gathered most people are locals which always make for the best places.

Review: We go to Myrtle beach at least once a year and always enjoy Shucker's. They do have a bar, but it is tame enough for the whole family. We always like sitting upstairs and have a great view of what's going on downstairs. I would recommend for anyone, young or old, to try Shucker's. Even if you don't like oysters, they have plenty of other things on the menu.

Review: we are locals who use to go to shucker a couple times a week. the last time we were there we were watching the finals in basketball everyone was watching the big screen after the 3rd quarter they cut the sound and turned the jukebox wide open no one in there like that very much many left. we went to a table with a small television my husband went to turn the volume up didnt see the sign above. the waitress walked over and asked him three times if he could read. rolled her eyes changed the channel. after the game we left i was a regular local who spent a good bit of money there but i will never go back to a bar where me and my friends were rudely disrespected. shuckers has quiet possibly the.rudest staff in myrtle. except the kitchen guys they were very nice

Review: This is a nice place to relax. It is not as crowded as the other restaurant on the boardway waterside.
A lot of yummy finger food; to me, it tastes better than most buffets.
The Raw Oysters from the bar is fresh, $8.99 for a dozen or $0.45 from 4-7pm happy hour ($5.75 a dozen).
the chicken wings are good, not the best but good.
I highly recommend this place.

Review: Back in the summer 1999, my mate and I came over from England to work at Broadway at the Beach just up from Shuckers. We had lunch everyday at Shuckers and loved it. Everyday we listened to a guy called Scott Simon on his guitar. He was a legend. Been trying to track his music down for the last 6 years. Anybody know if he is still playing in the bar or if he has a website?
Enjoy shuckers everybody!!

Review: We like to catch the happy hour specials here starting at 4 o'clock. A pitcher of beer and some shucked oysters mussels or clams can be had, usually for under ten bucks. There is always available seating and we have a quick and cheap alternative to waiting in those long lines for dinner!
We do hope the kitchen will take our advise and please scrape the oysters off the shell so they are ready to slide!

Review: We came here with four grumpy hungry children. The food was excellent with a kids menu, and we were seated promptly. Great value, and the noise level was fine. We went too early for dinner, too late for lunch, and there was only one other couple inside. That was fantastic, and the kids got to control the television set. I would go back any day!

Review: First time I noticed this place and ventured into it was this Spring '05. Cool place and reminded me of a bar at home. Lots of TVs and very accommodating to sports fans. The drinks are reasonable as well as the food. The tater tots ROCK!!! The crowd was small and seemed local. There is an upstairs game room where I spent most of my time. It had a pool hall feeling and you can see what's on the GIANT screen TV down below. The service up there was PRIMO as were some of the waitresses! From there one can overlook the whole downstairs bar. I forgot to mention, it's at Broadway at the Beach. One step away are 10 other bars and eateries!
