Took our family of 6 there, thinking it was a seafood restaurant, not quite what we expected. No one else in restaurant at 6:00 in the evening, menu was outrageous, couldn't really tell what we were ordering, more extensive wine list than food list. Portions were incredible small, not at all worth the money. DO NOT take a family there, might be worth the trip for young couple with money to burn. Had to go to another restaurant to eat dinner afterwards because portions were so miniscule. Left Sea Blue seeing red!

I went last night just by doing a internet search. I went back a second night in a row because this is the best restaurant experience I have had in years, including 4 and 5 stars in the Washington DC, San Francisco & Chicago areas. The shrimp & grits, shrimp scampi, crab cakes, braised beef, halibut w/macadamia nuts, & lobster ravioli were all TOP NOTCH!. Grilled ceasar was also TOPS! DO NOT come to Myrtle Beach w/out coming to SeaBlue. The wine list is also fabulous. It's not a large chain, it is small, charming and the best on the Strand. Do not come to Myrtle Beach w/out coming to SeaBlue.

Noise level was excellent because there was nobody in the restaurant. The other reviews must be from the owners. The price for 5 people in my group was 250.00, and I went back hungry. Apparently you people must have been rating another restaurant. I would suggest bone fish grill.

We chose SeaBlue to celebrate my hustbands 50th birthday. Well, SeaBlue is exceptional. The dishes are outstanding. All of them, from soup to nuts (as they say). Our waiter, James, hovering on the edge making sure our wants and needs were met before we thought of it. Ken, the owner, introduced himself, making us feel as if we had been customers for years. Guess what, we will be. Whenever we return to Myrtle Beach, SeaBlue will always be on our list. F for a wonderful dining experience, SeaBlue is a must!

This was my first time dining at Sea Blue in several months, but it was outstanding as usual. It is now under new ownership and the few changes have all been for the better. The menu is no longer only tapas style. Full size entrees have been added in addition to many of the favorite small plates that remain on the menu. The quality of the food is still great and wonderfully prepared. There is still a very extensive wine list with many selections not found on most local wine lists. The atmosphere is great for a small restaurant. The service is very professional and friendly. This visit I was by myself so I ate at the bar. I went with the small plates instead of a full size entree. The sashimi tuna is still some of the best in town. Shrimp and grits are also highly recommended. You can spend some money here but prices are reasonable for the quality of food. If you enjoy a great dining experience it is well worth making the trip to this restaurant.

It was just terrible. Perhaps it was because my girlfriend and I are in our early 20's but the service was rotten. Our waiter, Ken, didn't do anything that a waiter of that caliber restaurant should. There was a bald waiter on the floor as well, he was outstanding with his tables. Ours wouldn't give us the time of day. The calimari was like eating rubber bands snapping in your mouth. The portions were rediculously small. I've toured both coasts, from San Francisco to San Diego and from Boston to Miami, and never have I had such a horrible dining experience. After spending 70 bucks, we went to another restaurant to have dinner.

I ate at Sea Blue in NMB last night..

I don't think I can put into words just how good it was....OMG..

It may be the best in terms of true cullinary cuisine and i am not even sure if you can say cullinary cuisine as two words combined. haha By far, it was the best true "fine dining" I have ever done...period. Granted, I did have two glasses of vino with dinner but I know I know good food. Everything was nice and all the food was to die for. You can check out their menu online..

It is a little on the high end in terms of costs, but well worth it when you are done. Our dinner for two ended up with a tab of $140 before tipping and wine averaged $9 per glass. If you wanted to be a cheapscate and do it without alcohol you could get by on $100 for dinner for two. It just is so far superior above and beyond any other dining experience in South Carolina, it would be worth double the costs!.

We definitely will take that limo there for sure sometime soon(so I can really sample the extensive wine list)! I will be going back!

I dine out all the time and was impressed with the decor. It was absolutely overpriced for drinks and food. Service was average. One of our tapas dishes was a humus spread and we were given a few cut up pieces of pita bread to spread it on. We ran out of bread before the humus was gone and asked for more a little more pita bread. After waiting 10 minutes we were brought a plate with 4 water crackers. When the bill arrived they actually charged us an extra $1 for the 4 crackers. I have never seen or heard of such a charge in my life. What a low class operation. I hope the $1 was worth it as they lost my business forever.

One of our favorite things about vacation is finding exquisite fine dining establishments and giving them a try. I stumbled across info on Sea Blue before we left and made reservations. I can't even tell you how fabulous our experiences at Sea Blue were. We dined with them twice the week we were on vacation in North Myrtle Beach. The food was unbelievably perfect both times. The service was fast and exceptional. The restaurant decor is absolutely breath taking. We will definitely dine with Sea Blue every time we are at the beach. Words can't even adequately described how wonderful Sea Blue is. We haven't even been home a month and I am already itching to go back!

I have eaten in this restaurant many times. I make sure to eat there at least once each trip to the beach. Always bring friends, who enjoy it as much as I do. I have eaten in great restaurants all around the states. This is by far one of the very best. The attention to detail is obvious in all of the above. The food is creative, fresh and makes your mouth understand what eating is really about. Do try the citrus brulee', and the fillet with the Gorgonzola sauce. The wait staff has always been helpful, professional and seem to know when to be there. I have made reservations and never had to wait. The atmosphere brings out the romance. You feel like you are part of the sea. The wine tastings are terrific, with many new wines and knowledgeable sommeliers , sharing wonderful pairings. what a find!

My husband and I always celebrate the New Year at the beach, and this is our third year at Myrtle Beach. We take this time to rest and prepare for the coming year while enjoying exceptional and diverse restaurants. Sea Blue will be on our favorites list for our trips to Myrtle Beach in the future. Even though we arrived late, we were treated as if we were the first patron of the evening. The manager seated us in a very romantic and private area of the restaurant. Our server was most professional and knowledgeable while at the same time being warm and friendly. She anticipated our every need without being overbearing. The wine selections are excellent and served at the correct temperature, not to mention in the appropriate glass. We tried the crab spread, grilled Caesar salad, mixed green salad, scallops, and filet mignon, which were all served to perfection. At the end of our meal, we thought we could not possibly have dessert and declined our server’s offer. A few minutes later, we changed our mind and decided to take the seven layer cake back to the hotel for later. The chef, who was sitting at the bar enjoying his first rest of the evening, overheard our conversation when our server told us the kitchen closed right after our decision not to have dessert. He smiled and told her that he would be happy to reopen the kitchen to prepare our dessert. We appreciated the gesture even more later in the evening when we enjoyed the seven layer cake. We can’t imagine coming to Myrtle Beach without at least one night at Sea Blue.

After reading the excellent reviews we had to try this restaurant. This will become our new favorite! We had the spicey garlic shrimp and the blackened grouper. My husband usually doesn't like grouper, he said it was one of the best meals we've ever had. Do not miss the grilled ceasar salad, I have never had "grilled" salad, it's not to be missed! The suggestions for the wine was perfect and complimented the food precisely! Usually when we dine out with wine, 2 entrees and a salad our bill comes to around $100.00, which was what we were expecting. Our total for the meal was $54.00 plus tips. The food is excellent, the amount is just right, we had plenty to eat but weren't overstuffed. We will definitely be back!

A nice place to take a special person out for a romantic dinner. We were so impressed by the level of service and the food was outstanding. The decor is very romantic, too. It's a busy little place and they are taking care of it so magnificiently. The staff was courteous and professional. Great cocktail specials, great wine by glass, outstanding food. The maitre d' will pair the wine to your dishes, which is great value.(blind tasting). A true little beauty.

Seablue is a true experience. I really recommend this restaurant as the service, the food, and atmosphere were out of this world. We were quickly accommodated by the stylish maiter d', (we had no reservation that day), who turns up to be our sommelier. We were recommended dishes that were perfectly paired with some of the best wine I've tasted. Great selection of flight or blind tasting. The food was beautifully presented and very creative. We visited Sea Blue while on a family vacation on June23rd. Since this was the only grown up dinner my husband and I had alone, we were very excited about the quiet and chic atmosphere (It seemed very "unMyrtle Beach"). We had never been to a tapas restaurant, so our waitress was extremely helpful in her recommendations. Our entrees were fabulous! We will definitely be visiting Sea Blue during our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

Blue is the theme here. A mix between deco and techno, the interior of the restaurant is something that you will never forget. The lighting and music set the mood.
