Review: Found out about Scotty's Beach Bar from their website www.ScottysBeachBar.com ...Glad we stopped in for a few cold drinks when we were in surfside beach on vacation..Live music was being played by a 1 man band and the crowd was alot of fun..Cant wait to go back ! A+++

Review: When we are in town for the month of May, and an extra week, we have been going there for about 5 years now. Mostly on Hawaiian night. The non smoking thing is a plus, (thank you for actually going along with the laws in Surfside)and Virginia is just an awesome hostess, and puts on a great buffet(free makes it even better!) The bar servers are friendly, and know how to mix their wares. Looking forward to another several visits while in town. Thanks, Virginia for the good memories!

Review: Melanie best bartender, and prettiest, waits on everone with a smile, place is cool place to relax, have fun, go ever year some times twice, always go there first. Review: As a Musician that has placed there, I can say that they are some of the nicest People running a bar or hotel in this whole area. The Regulars make you feel right at home as well.
It is a great view of the Ocean from the deck, and the bands are always upbeat and fun. You can't help but smile and have a good time.

Review: Second year in a row visiting Surfside Beach and all I can say is Scotty's Beach Bar was the highlight of the trip. The great view of the ocean from the deck (luckily hit the full moon), the drink prices were more than reasonable, and the music was awesome. Caught the karoake night, too, and everyone was havin' a blast. Don't leave that place without a t-shirt (awesome colors to boot). Can't wait to return. And one last thing - when you get there - holler 'Gator Nuttz!' They'll know what ya mean.

Review: On Mon. June 30th my fiance and I were walking the beach looking for the perfect spot to be married on Wed. July 2. We stopped at Scotty's for a cold one and met 2 of the nicest guys "Ray and Cepheus". Our wedding plans were set from that moment on! With the help of the most professional and beautiful bartender, Jeff the Beach Bum, and all the other friendly locals, we had the most memorable wedding and reception. If you are ever looking for a place to gather after your Beach Wedding, stop in and talk to the locals at Scotty's, they are wonderful people!! Cheers to you guys!!!

Review: I have been here now since 1999. When my friends come into town, Scotty's is a must ! Cant leave here without a drink and view from the deck. Love the music, just can be yourself anytime of the day. Prices are a bit high,, but what isnt around here? Still my fav !! Lots of great memories !!

Review: Great place! Cold Drinks! No smoking inside anymore-Excellent! Awesome View!
Only problem is, when the bartender wants to go home, he calls last call & closes, even if it's well before 2 a.m. No matter how many people are in the bar spending money. I even heard one of them once say "I'm tired, I want to go home" Time for a career change I guess.

Review: Great place for live entertainment by local bands. Sits on the sand next to the ocean with breathtaking view. A great place to kick back and relax and enjoy the sounds of some talented musicians while you sip a cold beer or your favorite drink.

Review: My family and I stay at the Days Inn across the parking lot from Scotty's every year--this year they kinda enclosed the outside part near the walk-up windows -- now the view is not as pleasant as it once was. But its still the same: the music is good -- we still like it every year.

Review: Looks like a nice place from the outside. Inside consisted of like 5 tables. Very cramped. The prices were high especially when you can walk across the street a get a drink for half price.
